Some old Cookie stuff I...apparently never actually posted! This is from a blades in the dark game, where cookie is of tycherosi heritage (basically a tiefling, but weirder), and their blueness comes from a huge mushroom that likes to pilot its kin around. They also are kind of pirates, in that Psilvio itself is rooted into a ship built on the back of a leviathan. Cookie was trying to get faaar away from it, as they feared being a bit too much of a runt and having their body hijacked. It's very petty about that kind of thing though. True Demons in our game were usually heads of some sort of business, in Psilvios case dealing in psychoactive drugs and blue dyes, both rendered from the blood and other such slime from their own gills. Maybe don't think about the second one too hard.

A couple more doodles I found lying around of the Forgiven, featuring cookie as one that still has their arms! You gotta catch them to fix that, helps to anchor them to the inside (or outside) of the ship. Of which I have a Very rough, old as hell doodle. I could probably draw it better these days, but the initial Idea was that it's built on top of a leviathan (mostly unkillable "whale" monsters), to which Psilvio is cordyceps'd to. Part of why it borrows its little kin so heavily, it can't really leave the ship itself without giving up control of its prized leviathan. This iteration of the ship was capable of moving side to side, since its not really the Boat part that's doing the floating...and I remember talking about a version that's capable of submerging, for a little extra Pirate Ship Ghost Story kick. I was lazy with the sails up there as ships are not exactly my strong suit, but the overall design is specifically based on junks, and especially those Giant treasure ships

Some more old cookie stuff...Cousins! Specifically, THE MAUDINES! Spider tycherosi from the dagger Isles, who seem to have a longstanding work relationship/deal/rivalry with Psilvio, and would often collab with them to make fancy blue silks. They're also pirates who deal in sensation, but their preferred sensation is spectacle. Which is to say, when they're NOT being the favored host of a mushroom demon.... They're clowns. Think like if cirque du soleil was in dishonored. This is the half of the family Cookie would be looking to find one of these days, as Psilvio getting them back out of Mama's hands probably has all sorts of old deals and contracts behind it and would be a real pain in the ass to sort out. Some of this is a little outdated...presently though, Mama Maudine is a massive spider Thing folded into the body of a tiny, heavily inked old woman. Not everyone who is a Maudine is by blood of course, they tend to go through towns leaving some people and picking up plenty of new ones, as carnies do. Tabitha and Hemlock up there (and cookie) are on the mixed end of things, a potent combo of shroom and spider.
