The Touken/Kanetou space on tumblr is already pretty small, and seeing criticism of the ship is not something I want to see when going through the tag, and I know others feel the same. Have your criticism, but the ship has been dragged through the mud enough before now. I know there's no ill-will in this regard, usually, but it's still a sentiment that is felt.

For post etiquette, tag critical touken takes as #anti touken or #touken critical.

So... back to Unreal Engine, I guess. I've been considering switching anyway bc Unity lacks basic stuff like terrain merging/it's hard to implement despite being a common feature of games. UE seems to be a tad nicer to non-technical-skilled artists.

While GG wasn't meant to be monetised, I did want to sell the asset packs if they turn out nice. No point in selling on the store of a dead Engine.

Plus, I'm not far into the game-making yet (RL is a struggle but things are calming down slowly) so switching Engines doesn't hurt that much.

I might do some smaller weekend projects first to get used to the engine before returning to GG.

there is nothing worse to me with my anxiety, having friends here softblock me. all i ask, if we are friends, maybe, just reach out to me if i did something that bothers you or maybe you think i did something? i hate how communication is nule these days between roleplayers. i would rather be confronted with what you think happened and change than just be in the dark and be more anxious if i approach you then i'm crossing a boundary.

Anyone else get ridiculously uncomfy when they see Ghoul designs that are just copy-and-pastes of the unmasked Ghouls’ faces?

Like, they are separate people, it feels weird to me💀.

Especially when it’s NSFW/suggestive art and it’s just basically, let’s say, Jutty and Hayden snogging and sucking each other off but they have horns and a tail.

In my mind, it’s no better than that deepfake/AI shit that puts celebrities faces onto 🌽⭐️’s bodies. It’s done with out any knowledge or consent, and is plastering their faces onto NSFW situations they very well may not be comfortable with.

Like, ew no it’s makes my skin crawl istg.

And don’t give me anything about how “Oh well this Ghoul and that Ghoul do xyz on stage”. Okay good for them but I would be surprised if there is no discussion about those types of things first, at the very least an understanding with each other and their relationship/closeness that allows them to do shit like that with each other.

It’s still putting their faces on situations they haven’t consented to.

You will never see me liking or reblogging Ghoul art that’s just, eg, Liv’s face with horns, tail, Impera outfit and the caption says “Aurora”.

There’s a DNI in my pinned post for people who can’t separate the Ghouls from the people in the masks for a reason.

Plus I feel like when people come up with unique designs for the Ghouls’ faces it’s just more creative than whacking “Ghoul features” onto Jutty or Cosmo or Laura’s faces, for example.

Idk it’s just something I see a lot and it never sits right with me.
