The arguments don't even make sense. Like, "it's so rare to have strong platonic male-female relationships on TV so don't ruin it" hi - did you meet .. Eugene and rosita? Sasha and tyreese? Rick and carol? Daryl and connie? Carol and morgan? Daryl and rosita?

There are loads.

And if you're stanning any of those as romantic ships, then you're a hypocrite tbh, SORRY.

If anything, there are enough of those. What we need more of are representations of romantic relationships that don't revolve solely around romantic love. Carol and Daryl are a great example of how you can have a caring and loving relationship that isn't conditional on romance. By saying they should stay platonic, you're insinuating that you can only have one or the other.
