DAY 5: HELLO KL! IT’S NICE TO BE BACK

We get ready so early as we were leaving Penang at 10am going to Kuala Lumpur. We will spend the day there before going back to Manila (finally as I miss everyone back home)

Lots of people in airport but thankfully we were just in time and I already checked in my luggage. Should have bought more things as I have a 20kg luggage allowance but my small luggage only weighs 9kg :( 

Goodbye Penang! 

When we arrived at KL, we had lunch first and I enjoyed KFC! Luv this! <3 then booked a Grab going to the place we booked at booking.com

The place we booked was nice, I can stay there even for a week! But with love ofcourse :D

We rest for awhile then head to Twin Towers for our quick tour around KL :)

And then we ate ramen! I love this <3

we then went to a grocery to buy pasalubong~

And our last stop that day was go to KL towers. I dont want to go as I was tired and it was raining, but since it was paid already (around 500 pesos in Klook) we decided to go.

Before going home, we went to 711 to buy our dinner. I just had cup noodles. Should have bought a nice dinner as I still have lots of Ringgit left~

And then we sleep then wake up at 4am and head to the airport waiting for our 8am flight to Manila :D

And that was the end of our 1 week trip to SG - Malaysia for BBCON 2022!

Thank you Lord for our safe travel and flights. Hoping for more trips to come :)

DAY 4 PHOTOS

DAY 4 (LAST DAY OF CONFERENCE)

We started our day with a nice breakfast from Oldtown White Coffee - this was one of my fave coffee and it all started when I first went to Malaysia last 2020.

This was the best breakfast I had ever since we got here so I am very happy :)

and of course - coffee!

Then we head to the conference -- and it is our last day! yey!

And then around lunch -- me and G decided to go home first as we werent feeling well. we took a nap and around 3pm, we decided to go to an outlet store to do a little bit of shopping.

I intended to buy that bag -- but good thing I kept myself from buying it even though all of them bought something from Coach :D

This was us after all the walking we did that day and as we were waiting for our Grab to go our Branch dinner that night.

They all bought bags from Coach~ while me, I only buy that one Beryl’s paperbag for pasalubong. Such a good decision not to buy though!

So I should always tell myself not to buy things if I dont need it even if all of them did! :D

We then went to our branch dinner~

And then went home to pack our bags as we were leaving Penang tomorrow!

DAY 3

Day 2 of BBCON~

Our call time today was a bit early and I didnt have many photos but this was our lunch that day which I didnt like that much.

We head home a little bit early because D is having diarrhea. We also went to a Korean restaurant because we miss Korean food and then we went home to prepare for Gala Night.

After picture taking, we went to a mall as we intend to do some shopping but it was almost closed when we get there.

So we ended that night with a cup of coffee from Starbucks <3

DAY 2 in Penang, Malaysia

Good morning from Penang, Malaysia!

We arrived very late last night and we were so tired, hungry and sleepy. It is really hard to book Grab when we arrived Penang airport and also I thought we were scammed as we bought sim card with data for RM20 but we got nothing when we tried it.

So here we are, feeling fresh and ready for Day 1 of our conference. We get ready at around 10am to have breakfast and bought some supplies in supermarket.

D treated us with breakfast. I liked the coffee  but noodles - not that much.

We were also near Prudential Malaysia and so we took a photo~

Then we now head to the venue of our conference which is very near and walking distance but we still booked a Grab :D

After Day 1 -- we head out as we were supposed to go to The Top Penang, but then we were distracted by food and we werent successful as it is now closed.

We were supposed to be at the top -- but here we are at the bottom...

and that’s the end of Day 2! We head home first as we are the Titas of Manila and needed sleep and rest :D

DAY 1 in SINGAPORE (photos)

DAY 1 in SINGAPORE - Part 2

after lunch we continued our tour and so we went to the following famous tourist spots in SG:

- HAJI LANE 

- MARINA BAY SANDS & MERLION PARK

after lots of walking, we decided to eat at a restaurant there & it was nice that we met a fellow Filipino who works in SG.

and then we decided to visit again Central Cafe 

and that was the end of our short layover trip in Singapore! 

so proud of myself for having these steps in SG! Hope to visit again with family. love and friends <3

DAY 1 in SINGAPORE - Part 1

We wake up a little early for us to have a quick day tour in Singapore as we were just having a layover then we’ll fly to Penang for our conference.

We stayed at Circular House SG -- just good if you are having a quick tour but then if not better to book airbnbs. It’s just okay for sleeping but a little bit uncomfortable if you’ll stay longer.

And so we started the walking tour -- few snips below:

then to 7/11 to have breakfast

we were supposed to go to Central Cafe but we got lost. So we took subway then walk a thousand steps again~~

sad to say - when we found the cafe we just learned that it is close and will be open at 5pm so we were all heartbroken as we were so so tired so we just took a photo for remembrance.

I still enjoyed it even I’m very tired from all the walking we did, then we ate lunch and recharge to continue our trip~

1st time travelling outside PH after pandemic~

after visiting Papa and lunch with family, we decided to head to the airport because of traffic. and so I am one of the early birds together with Kuya J and Arlene. Terminal 1 is not so crowded and we had a smooth flow -- checking in and to IO.

just one hand bag and one carryon luggage for 1 week -- yes i’m a light packer!

our flight to SG is a little bit delayed because of bad weather and since this is just my 2nd travel outside PH-- i’m quite nervous

this is also my first time with Scoot but thankfully we landed safe in SG :)
