Spent the day with my crew @dominatrixesagainstdonaldtrump and my #sexworkercommunity hearing speeches, connecting with the spectrum of among other things producers, performers, healers, artists and advocates that make up our sexy world. Heard some of our beautiful and brutal history, marched the streets in heels, boots and fishnets raising our voices: No bad whores, just bad laws! Will share more. For now, I’m incredibly grateful to have stood shoulder to shoulder with these warriors in red. #sexworkersarepeople #sexworkersaremarginalizedpeople #proudxsexworker #safenottame #sexworkerrightsarehumanrights #sexworkersafety #talktoasexworker #letussurvive #sexworkisrealwork #fucksestafosta @swoplosangeles @swop_usa @survivorsagainstsesta @taraindiana @bettie_bondage @mistressbellabathory

Join me and my community on June 2nd in LA, Vegas, DC and NYC as we celebrate International Whore’s Day with resistance. LINK IN BIO #safenottame #proudxsexworker From SurvivorsagainstSESTA: THE IMPACT OF SESTA: FOR ALLIES SESTA/FOSTA harms vulnerable populations engaging in the sex trade without helping trafficking victims. Under FOSTA, collecting and distributing community-contributed information about violence, victimizers, or HIV/STI transmission when engaged in sex work could put a person at risk for criminal prosecution and would likely cause a chilling effect on websites being able to make that information available. Denying these resources exacerbate the risk of violence and victimization for sex workers, including those who are victims of trafficking. Shutting down websites that sex workers use to work indoors and screen clients more safely does not stop traffickers. To the contrary, this only drives sex workers, including those who are trafficked, to find clients on the street where they face higher rates of violence, HIV, Hepatitis C and sexually transmitted infections, and exploitation. Why do sex workers need access to online platforms? We’ve been documenting how many sites, which have been vital to the health and well-being of those trading sex, have closed completely or in part, since the bill passed the Senate. These websites hold vital resources for trafficking investigations. There are no industry standards to stop traffickers from using websites for exploitation. This legislation does not get us closer to that goal, and instead makes it harder for police, prosecutors, or websites to identify and help victims. Many tech organizations have strongly opposed SESTA as well. Find out more about their concerns at Stop SESTA. #survivorsagainstsesta

Let’s talk about porn. I made it. I’m not making it anymore. A few of you have looked up my shit. I especially love most of the extreme boundary pushing Goddess Soma work and fetish glamor work. There’s part of my work I just plain hate and I find embarrassing. Some of you don’t know what I’m talking about, while others have jerked off to both, still others have questions or other things that will graciously go unsaid. It’s all ok. Really. In the past I’ve over compensated when I’ve been confronted with certain aspects of my career. I don’t want to pretend or defend anymore. I don’t need to tell you what books I’ve read to make up for what furniture I’ve been bent over on camera. I’m interested in embracing the discomfort, the weird and the unacceptable. It’s something that appeals to me naturally, and culturally from punk and BDSM and spiritually from what I’ve learned in Vipassana meditation. I’m not asking for abusive feedback on my work. That’s boring, and it’s own variety of lame. I’m asking for us to reflect on things that are uncomfortable. For me, one of those things is my porn. Even though I’m proud of being an adult star, I don’t feel good about every single video I shot. I have to live with my discomfort being public and available on pornhub. And be ok with it. Most importantly I have to be ok with the discomfort. I also have to be ok with talking about it. What I’ve learned from the spiritual communities I hang with is to always turn towards discomfort. In response, I’m gonna go bang out this painting I’m working on. Life is full of a variety of uncomfortable feelings. How can we just be ok with the heebie jeebies or that gross feeling or shame or “meh”? #safenottame #proudxsexworker #noshame #nomudnolotus
