As a little girl there are two things I wanted very much

1) To be white

2) To not be told 'Its all the same' when I corrected people who called me Mexican and told them I'm Puerto Rican.

Like, dude, that's rude as shit. No it's not all the same you piece of trash. They are two entirely different cultures. And the Spanish is very different...

Also, I literally went through a phase where I refused to go outside because I would get that pretty caramel color on my skin.
