Chappell Roan, a lesbian, went on a national broadcast tonight and performed a song about dating a closeted woman who refuses to acknowledge their relationship and denies the fact that she’s a lesbian. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that happening but here we are and it’s amazing.

As a lesbian woman, to have an artist go out and be so entirely herself in every way, to be so proud of her own sexuality and to perform a song like this and have it be broadcasted to millions of people…it makes me so emotional. All I have ever wanted as a queer woman is to have this sort of unabashed representation and we’re finally getting it in such an incredible way. What an era we are living in and all I can say is long may it continue and I am so proud to be a Chappell Roan fan.

This is based on sw 5 :) in that movie we're shown that Han and Lando were at the very least good friends and are now giving off major exes vibes. So this is them younger, after a long night at the casino, eating a kebab ! And Chewie is here because Han without Chewie just feels wrong (and I love them)

It's finaly finished ! Lando is now part of my sw sapphic au <3

For their design I went for a 70s inspired outfit, while keeping the cape because let's be real is it still them if I don't keep it. I also kept the mustache thanks to this ask ! They made me see the light of enby Lando :) I'll eventually make sketches to show the full outfit, and do some others because I really want to draw them in an outfit inspired by what they wear after joining the rebellion for a more masc look :3c

And for the colors I chose them based on the younger Lando's outfit because one of the only things I like about disney's star wars, is their young Lando design ! The bright yellow and blue, the tie, the hair- I think it works really well as both a younger, and "modernized" design ! Only thing I found a bit desapointing is that it's too safe- you really want me to believe Lando Calrissian is the type of man to wear the same-ish shirt, pants and cape for 10+ years ? (But that's a default all of disney's sw have, playing it safe to make as few original choices as possible, desperately reminding you of what came before to try to make you forget what you are whatching is mediocre. A constant flow of garbage that's not even brave enough to be bad, just mediocre- But the less I think or talk about disney the better gkgklgkf)

THE SAPPHIRE ROYAL, LORD XADIRITH ( character is she/her!! )

i finally completed this revamp of my cosmic dragon, xadirith! leaned more into the body horror aspect of her here, balanced out with her usual regality.

i've also reworked her lore, which you can read under the cut below! :3

Lord Xadirith, the Sapphire Royalty, the Regal Mistress of Crystalline Galaxies, is one of the original high elder gods of the Monstarous Mythos. Though not truly a god, that is the closest to human perception that a spontaneous energy of thermodynamic entropy such as herself can become. Like the rest of the high elder gods, Xadirith was “born” at random, spawning from unpremeditated existence. More direct origins lie within being the manifestation of curiosity and emotional expansion. This is what ultimately led to Xadirith's role as the curator and peacekeeper of multiversal existence. Xadirith maintains a small portion of multiple entities needed to maintain a stable and peaceful multiverse. Her true form cannot be described, although if it did exist in a tangible form, it would resemble a glimmering nebula of universal size. Xadirith is often associated with the concept of regality and order, a benevolent energy that maintains balance in the grand scheme of multiversal existence.  From her very beginning, Xadirith only ever knew of her true purpose: to maintain peace. But to maintain the peace of what, she questioned? She was born far before anything truly tangible existed, so, for some time it was her job to be a peacemaker amongst her fellow gods as the multiverse began to expand from the same unpremeditated existence that created her and other wandering gods. Even then, she still did not fully understand her sense of being– who was she and why did peace matter to her? Was this truly what she was meant to be? Could she forge her own destiny and sense of being? This questioning had led to a battle with the god Astaroth, a greedy devourer who had not yet realized her role within the cosmos. Astaroth had stirred a quarrel with the star-creator, Axardyr, and their battle had shattered an entire universe. This had caused a disruption within the multiverse, setting loose harmful and chaotic entities such as the Ekanox into certain realities. Xadirith stood up to Astaroth, who fought wrathfully against her. Their battle lasted for ten thousand years to one second; a time-bending collision of colors never perceived by human eyes followed by the instantaneous death and birth of thousands of stars. Astaroth had been guided by Xadirith in the end, aiding her in finding a balance between consumption and creation.  As universes formed, Xadirith gained access to them and was cosmically tasked with ensuring that each and every universe was within unison of their own physical and metaphysical laws. It was... taxing, to say the least, but Xadirith had grown fond of the universes she visited. Now, Xadirith remains a benevolent and curious deity that takes enjoyment in living amongst mortals and understanding their ways of life. Xadirith is the most solitary of the high elder gods. She prefers to traverse the multiverse on her lonesome.
