Leave No Trace - Protect Your National Parks

Don’t mix these two up! Anything you bring into a national park, you must pack out or dispose of in a proper trash receptacle. Do not hit golf balls into canyons and valleys, do not leave used diapers on the sides of trails, do not toss your apple core because you think it’s natural. National parks have been called America’s best idea. Don’t treat them like a garbage can. I love the fact wildlife is so present in the park. Look at these beautiful creatures! Swimming Moose

Did you know moose are excellent swimmers? Stay at least 25 yards from moose, even if it's in the water! In some instances, even 25 yards might still be too close. There are no obvious signs of decline in Glacier's moose populations but moose have been declining across much of North America in recent years. One hypothesis is that increasingly milder winters in recent decades have been favorable for ticks who love to prey on moose. Learn more about staying safe from moose and ticks.

Even though my primary goal was Iceberg lake, I think, my favorite hike was probably Grinnel Glacier. The was no boring part on this one, from beginning to the end the nature is just outstanding! 🏔✨. Lakes are truly this turquoise color!💧Weather was changing, so did the water color, becoming more emerald as the clouds rolled in ☁️.
