#lore tidbit! the plot is not available for purchase #the building is only Technically abandoned. its still very much Owned private property!#actually ive been thinking about the Other side of this au. the people's perspective #cause in this au at least they all Knew the puppets were alive #many employees - especially the ones working 'closest' to the puppets - put up a huge fight when the show got canceled #but it was either Disassemble (kill) Them or Lock Them Away #and honestly? killing the neighbors would've been somewhat of a mercy #but the employees had no way of knowing just how Bad things would get #wh lights out au #scribble salad #and i mean. the building's electricity bill remains paid.#the employees that felt really bad kept it paid over the years - devoting a bit of their income each to it #thinking the puppets would a) be awake & b) be able to figure it out #yeah that's actually a lil fun tragic tidbit as well - if any of the puppets had found the breaker....#or found it and Messed with it a lil... flipped the right switch...#they would've gotten the lights back on no problem #but yeah anyway ive been Thinking about the employees' side of things a lot #might tie that in with act two. it'd make sense considering the shit that happens #well either they'd help the puppets out or they'd get shoved into one of the sinkholes by barnaby. so.#bc if we're talkin seriously here. the puppets are more likely to kill a person than worship them for any reason #they'd go full 'THREAT!! When I’m writing my Modern AU but then try to figure out and calculate how the life I gave the Batch is financially possible:

#I’ll be writing #and then I’ll be like wait how do they own a house in the suburbs in this economy?#so then I’ll be like ok 99 was the homeowner so maybe he already paid it off and now they only worry about property tax and bills #but it doesn’t stop there #now I’m looking up the prices of homes in the 80s #then I start looking up details on VA loans #then I’m calculating ok this sibling has this job so this would be what they make in a year after taxes #then I add them up #but wait #Crosshair and tech are in college how are they affording that?#then I remember the GI bill #but then I’m like ok but what if they go on vacation?#so then I’m like ok they give off the vibes that they would choose to drive everywhere they could within reason #BUT THEN I’m like hold up what if they brought Omega to Disney World #so now I’m looking at ticket hotel and airfare costs #and seeing what military and veterans discounts are #meanwhile this fic hasn’t even been fully written I’m just brainstorming and writing all these details in a brainstorming document #I’ll apply suspension of disbelief and ‘don’t worry about it’ to other things like face tattoos in the suburbs and timeline and ages #but for the financial aspect I’m like ‘how can I make this as true to reality as possible’?#star wars tbb #star wars the bad batch #the bad batch #bad batch modern au #sw bad batch

Emergency Roof Repair and Storm Cleanup Commissions

As mentioned in previous posts and pinned @anotherdayforchaosfay , we have just been through a natural disaster. Please read the pinned post on that blog. Updates will be added once we get outside and photograph the damage for our insurance claim.

I have opened commissions three months earlier than planned because we need to raise money to cover our insurance deductible as well as hiring someone to remove the tree from our roof and yard. The tree is owned by a lazy landlordlord who owns the property next door. We have told him repeatedly it needs to be trimmed or there will be damage. His property got a quick install sunroof.

I have four slots available across the board and prices start at $150 USD.

I have made the option of commissioning me for a quilt available. Three finished quilt tops are listed as commissions because they're ready for handquilting. Several people have inquired about one of the tops, so now's your chance to have it done sooner than later.

If you can do only a partial payment right now, DM me. I'll write up a contract for payments, and will require 50% upfront and weekly/monthly installs after that. You will then receive an invoice.

Commissions will begin immediately because we now have power.

I will close commissions when all slots are filled or June 1st, 2024. Whichever happens first (hopefully the former). If slots are filled, I will reopen them again after I finish all the commissions. I work fast and may complete six quilts netween now and then.

Donations are accepted,and there are four listings available in my shop with the option to pay more than my asking price (if you add an extra zero, I may very well cry).

#fjdkfdjkfd.#anyway. last week a trailer came out for something only called kidnap. which is hilarious because that's a blocked tumblr tag #it's a romance (with the kidnapper. who is secretly only doing it to pay a medical bill). i don't think it sounds or looks very good #& considering who is airing this and their history with Edgy Content the keyword here will probably be Bland. or maybe Toothless #but unfortunately...... tragically...... one of the leads is an actor i'll take in literally anything.#so i've spent my week periodically being attacked by this insignificant bit of knowledge and experiencing shrimp emotions #literally just. going about my day. thinking 'kidnap'. going OOF. then remembering i'm in the middle of brushing my teeth #also. i found out the original writer of bad romance & together with me is ALSO the writer of not me. and it's things like this #that would take like. twenty layers of explanation of these properties in general and also my takes on them specifically #and how it contrasts or aligns with their general perception. to even come CLOSE to explaining the mental hit i took from that #i need a corkboard and some red thread. and then probably three more corkboards #for day 1 that is. i think i have a week's worth of loosely connected spontaneous deep dive video essays i could do off the top of my head #ah well. the curse of having interests #*
