GIANT FINFIN HAMA BEAD ART TEMPLATE

this FinFin is as tall as 67 hama beads, making him about 30 cm/12 inches tall. I think.

he requires SIX 29-pin boards to make and 2025 total hama beads. woah.

to the left you'll see each unique colour he has. from top to bottom, the amount of hama beads for each colour follow: 44, 262, 262, 140, 6, 604, 674, 9, 24.

his logo only requires two pin boards and 568 hama beads (350, 218). that still sounds like a lot, but you could fit it on the remaining space at the top of the pin boards that finfin is on. the yellow shading of the text was altered to cover more area, so that the resulting fused beads would be far less brittle.

the colours themselves were not based on available hama bead colours, so it may be quite difficult to recreate this perfectly. it's also MASSIVE and super inconvenient. but tbh. I've made bigger pieces. I wanna do this

Okay, so Isaac, I'm trying to make this as short as possible, not sure how it will go

Isaac grew up overtly catholic, managed to run from the federation, he managed to sneak into Elias's office unseen, that and the insider info he had got him into the ghosts, he's a trans guy and he doesn't trust anyone but Merrick (and then later Hesh, but that took a lot of convincing from Hesh), Legal name is completely redacted, he does tell his deadname to Hesh and later to the other due to a mission

Isaac doesn't get along with his parents, for a lot of reasons, like their strongly lgbt phobic views and him being trans and bi, them forcing him to join the feds

Tho, he kinda got adopted by Merrick after a few months with them. They had some free time for all to go home or just off base and Isaac had nowhere to go so he stayed and Merrick came back like 2 days later to look how he's doing, cause he knew Isaac wouldn't go anywhere and then they spend the whole time together and Isaac slowly warmed up to Merrick. He made Isaac feel like someone actually finally cared about him, after that Merrick became more and more of a father figure for him and Merrick was also the only one he really trusted (not that he didn't trust the rest with fighting, but not really on a personal level) til Hesh came and wormed his way into his world and didn't let up

While not married, Hesh and Isaac are technically engaged, on the battlefield Hesh basically proposed. They made a promise that if they ever have a few quiet days, that they'll get actual rings and get married, but for the time being Hesh used the pin from a granade, that Isaac is always wearing together with his dogtags (Merrick got them for him, eventhough he's not technically us military,  he is a ghost and therefore deserves them in his opinion)

Tho one time they had a bit of trouble (big trouble) and Isaac took it off giving it back and walked away, broke both of them a little bit

Trouble was Logan coming back to them turned.

Isaac, as an ex fed realising what happened and that Logan turned, but the rest not really going on it, thinking he's paranoid. He doesn't mind everyone, Merrick being a little apprehensive about the idea, hurt a bit, but Hesh not believing him was the worst (even if understandable). Had him thinking that Hesh doesnt trust him enough, so in the moment he proofed his point with Logan he took the pin of and shoved it into Hesh's hand with the words "i can't hold this promise if you can't even belive me on my area of expertise"

They did got back together not too long after but it was rocky few weeks

Keegan is possibly the closest thing Isaac had to a friend before Hesh, not that they were particularly close, but they tolerated eachother and Keegan is also the only one (apart from Merrick) that Isaac was okay being alone in a room with, possibly silent bonding

"Funniest" thing Isaac is very much from southern Texas, can hide his accent pretty well tho, unless he's tired or agitated, then it's just full on southern drawl.

He also has a very prominent scar on his right cheek from under his eye all the way back to his chinbone under his ear (i hope you get what i mean) he got this from his uncle, when it came out that he was trans, unc actually tried to kill him, but even with 14/15 Isaac was already a pretty good fighter

Alright, listen up, folks.

My hours have been reduced to nothing for months now on account of disabilities I'm trying to get treated for, I got a med bill I wasn't expectin' in the mail, and now I'm woefully far from bein' able to pay for my upcoming psychiatrist appointment, which I have to pay for by the 24th of this month. This one is really important because there's a strong probablility this one will be the one to prescribe me some meds that just might enable me to be able to acually take care of myself (read: actually function at all) for the first time in my life. I'm prolly gonna need like $300 to cover the appointment. I ain't askin' y'all to help me for free, however.

I can sew together little pillow monster things. They have zipper mouths and button eyes. They're hand-sewn, from a pet-free home.

This is my oldest (and smallest) example. about 7" wide and tall. The ones I'm proposing to sell will be about 9" wide and tall.

Here are the buttons and (9) zippers I have available for this endeavor. (Sorry about the lighting.) Note the loops on the zipper pulls for easier zipping.

Uhh, those are soda can pull tabs in the corner. Ignore that, I'm procrastinating on working on a project.

In terms of fabric, I have fleece and flannel of various colors. 'S all preshrunk in a washer and dryer, but I don't have a good way to showcase or store fabric other than shoving it all into one plastic bag. That aside, here's the flannel I have:

(Dark blue, light blue, teal, white, space [small amount], and scales [purple, blue, and green scales, small amount])

And here's the fleece:

(Purple, red, orange, and black [small amount])

Note how I have more of some colors in one material or another than in others. This means certain body surface colors may not be possible due to material limitations. I have a whole bunch of thread colors, and just an overall abundance of thread tho 👍

These are custom made to order, and the production is paid in advance. You can do custom colors (body, front vs back color, the color of the inside of the mouth, whether or not you want it to have a tongue, number / color of eyes) and you can POTENTIALLY do other customizations. (Want it to have a ridge on its back like a cartoon dinosaur? Want me to give it horns? Want me to try to figure out how tassles work? Want it to have floppy, doofy, cow-lookin' ears? [I recommend fleece for these kinds of additions, trust me on this one.]) Shape alterations mmmmaayyyyy be possible, but that's pretty dubious. Bear in mind that any customizations / additions will likely drive priduction time wayyy up, and there are things I might not be able to do.

Shipping will be paid seperately, and at the time of shipping. I can't really afford to cover shipping, but also I have no earthly idea how to calculate shipping. I have a tiny scale at home now that I can use to weigh the finished product, but that's about it. These are gonna have to be personally taken to the post office, which means a lot of walking. I dunno, we'll figure it out.

This is all being said and shown in the interest of maximum transparency with this stuff. You will recieve update images with progress on your little monster dude, and you're gonna have to give feedback on the button placements and angles before I sew 'em on so that way I know I've got the look you want on it.

Customizations and additions will add to the price, but the extent to which it happens is (sort of) negotiable. oooh. this one's tough but i'd have to say donna. i love her to bits and pieces but i feel like i can't nail her internal narration at all. like i know i joke a lot about how dick and donna are alike in a lot of ways but the worst consequence of it is that some of her narration becomes eerily like dick's because donna's relationship to her personhood is soooo fucked up. plus, anytime i use greek references, i feel a whiplash to my teenage percy jackson days which is just... an experience. but one day, i will write the donna au that exists in my head that grapples with the events of blackest night in a more nuanced and fucked up way than jla '06 did— like, i need her to reckon with why she went into her failmarriage (if u discount the marv wolfman self-insertion of it all).

🍍 What kind of AUs do you like? Are there any AUs you hate or just generally have beef with?

canon-divergence aus can be great when done right. my favs being forced into another dimension or reality where they encounter warped mirrors of people they love and know can also be so fun to read. also rlly fuck with apocalypse and time travel stuff. and medieval settings can be such a delight, too.

the kind of aus i don't enjoy is probably more well defined, tbh. like i can't fuck with ABO stuff at all. with dcu, i don't enjoy most of the civilian setting stuff... like why is dick grayson only and only a barista? for a lot of characters, vigilantism is very deeply tied to their sense of self so it just feels wrong when i come across those. also not into the whole hanahaki or soulmate stuff. i'm also unable to get into the whole mermaid/selkie stuff. no hate to any of these, i just don't vibe with them personally. but also fuck ABO actually.

🍐 Is there anything in canon that you absolutely hate and love to fix in fics? A wrong choice made, a fuck-up in characterization, a misunderstanding never cleared up, a conversation never shown onscreen, etc…

hahah... my biggest gripe at one point was post-spyral aftermath so i rlly took that thing gandhi said to heart and wrote LBIA. be the change u want to see or whatv! i do enjoy considering character trajectories after blackest night and the return of bruce wayne— i'm constantly pretending n52 didn't happen.

as for the more specific stuff, lian's death is prolly one. like i know she's back in current comics but i didn't rlly put in the effort to follow the shoes arc properly bc i'm always thinking lian should've never 'died' at all. cry for justice and rise of arsenal always have me conflicted bc on one hand, i can see how roy and jade losing lian can be a very very compelling thing narratively but my heart cannot get with the program at all.

also, more conversations between dick, donna and roy, esp after her resurrection!!! like titans v2 was just such a letdown bc we should have gotten to see donna react to how badly they both took her death. i know we briefly get an insight into it in the resurrection of donna troy but i want actual reckoning after she comes back from the stuff in countdown.

Archie sonic issue #2

And here we move on to the second in the #290 comic book series woof.

As I said in my previous post as much as I dilike the archie comics this isn't to to shit on the comics or those that like them. I'll be giving just as many positive thoughts as I do negative.

I'm just reading through them and just wanna share my thoughts on them.

Issue #2 was released in July 1993 And publication was september 1993.

Must of been wild back then to wait so long in between as if tbf we do that now still with idw but I remember a lot of my own comics I read growing up were weekly.

Anyway this is like one of the few pins I wish I could own but trying to explain the gag to people would be a lot of effort.

Sorry but Coconuts is like a really cute design I wish he was used more, I think he was in the tv series more?

I don't really recall seeing much of scratch and gounder after this, they were more involved in the tv show I guess and just didn't really hit of with comic audience I guess? Which is a shame because they are kinda funny as bumbling idiot servants.

Kids who read the comic when it first came out are all like this now.

I would say I think this is when they tried to insert lore but I think this is the one about the two gag characters and not the uh racist stereotype tribal men story line.

Yep I believe they returned somewhere in the #90s issues? maybe I don't recall but I don't think they were like meant for anything other than to just make a fun story about the rings.

They had this odd habit at the end of some of the comics like a desperate plea not to cancel them, I think it's in the mecha sonic comic to very bizzare espically consiering some kids prolly did send letters in but were most likely ignored.

For years after I read this comic (my dad brought the collection when i was younger they are prolly worth some now lmfao if we had them) I believed this was how they made 'foil' covered things.

I remember doing it myself and being dissapointed my face just tore through it.

My thoughts on this one was pretty good again, it's a cute series at the start and it introduced characters from the series like scratch and grounder.

I guess they wanted to introduce the characters that were going to be in the tv series because as I said some of these characters weren't really seen again in the comics, well not that often.

Which I don't blame them because I suppose keeping a lot of cast around takes away from the main villian himself and it's easier to concentrate on him.

It's a shame though because I have fond memories of vividly hating scratch and grounder but for a goofy kids cartoon they slotted in well.

I like eggmans use of skinny and square shaped idiot partners as his sidekicks. He seems to have a type for those being his personal servants, err, assistants.

my time lines could be funky on these because I'm not following along with the mini series of comics until later on.

But I like them.

Lil tidbit here for my new series while I’m brewing up another chapter

Just to give some visuals for now, I’ll update some more visuals later on in a/n so I won’t have to make separate posts about them.

Since Earth-6301 is set in 2099 you can imagine that it most likely has the same technology as Earth-928, but will have some differences here and there.

Regarding y/n suit, here is a general idea of the her suit looks like since I needed some sort of visual before I started this fic. Forgive me if you notice how ASS THE ANATOMY IS! I know, I know so please if someone wants to do me one better please I beg you. Also the pañuelo (on the shoulders) would be pinned together with a golden spider looking pin🧍‍♀️🤷‍♀️. The pañuelos (the red scarves) and the mask are made from nanotechnology so the mask is retractable and the pañuelo around the shoulders can turn into a glider or where the yantoks are sheathed (imagine where deadpool keeps his katanas.)

Design of the suit

*there’s supposed to be golden dots and red eyeshadow kinda look around her eyes and golden webbing design on the suit.

The yellow dots on the knuckles is where her web comes out of like Miguel’s design but also serves as some sort of brass knuckles situation so she can serve a mean punch that’ll leave some injuries.

-miguels glider *COMPLET COINCIDENCE for the glider design! (I was thinking about sugar gliders) when I was designing the suit I wanted some traditional clothing pieces but also felt like it needed to be useful and not just a cute design. But the pañuelo on the head is just for design as a way to keep the hair styled outside the mask.

Lil backstory for y/n: she didn’t like how her hair would always be a mess after she took off her mask, especially in the Philippines heat. So when her first s/o found out and made some modifications to her suit. He redesigned her helmet for her hair problem so the pañuelo on her head, he gave her the yantok/glider/pañuelo so the pañuelo can be versatile and he designed her laser webbing, so instead of using the synthetic webs that she used to make she uses the laser web tech (hers is blue). Before she revealed her identity to him she used to fumble around with her pañuelo to turn it into a glider and had her yantoks on her back as well, so it wasn’t really time efficient.

Speaking of where yantoks are being sheathed. Boom deadpool need I say more? Now I know traditionally it isn’t like that, prolly sheathed at the hips but she found it awkward after the first few runs to have the sticks swinging at her hips and they would also hit against her legs. It didn’t hurt it was just awkward.

Happy Borthday to me

I can offer a small bit of what I’ve been working on since the last time I shared or posted anything, but I might have something post worthy soon enough ^u^

The first snippet is from a better version of Lucky Number 13 [link to the fic] and the second snippet is from my dark fic series, which is called Threatening Darkness [link to the full series], and the fic is titled Distorted Reflections [link to the fic]

I hope you guys enjoy and feel free to bother me about these fics, might help me write more and get more done ^u^ No warnings really apply to these snippets, except that there are mentions of injuries and a potential concussion in Distorted Reflections.

Lucky Number 13 Chapter 8 - [Untitled] Shadow suddenly woke up to his body leaving the ground, flailing around for a moment as his eyes opened to see daylight and a smug-looking hero holding him with an arm under his legs and another at his back. He glared, though that only made the smug smile wider. “Rise an’ shine.” “Fuck you.” “Think ‘m good, but thanks fer the offer.” Shadow wiggled out of Twilight’s arms, falling to the ground on his face. Twilight laughed as he adjusted his gear and turned back to the graveyard they had spent the night inside. Shadow picked himself up off the ground, grumbling as he stood and brushed off the dirt from his tunic. “So what’s the plan, wolf-man?” Twilight rolled his eyes. “While it’s still daylight, we sh’ prolly leave this place an’ try ta find a village or one of tha others.” “Kay, lead the way, Wolfie.” Twilight sighed, then touched the shadow crystal to, transforming into a cloud of twilight particles. The now wolf hero motioned for Shadow to follow, which he gladly floated in the air behind the wolf to leave finally. The graveyard was sizeable, much bigger than Shadow had first thought. The gravestones were all weather-worn and blacked white in the sunlight, not that Shadow could make out any of the Hylian etched into them. It was much quieter now and eerie in a way, but it was a graveyard, so it made sense, Shadow supposed. As they approached the barrier of the graveyard, Shadow spotted something ahead that the low-lying wolf wouldn’t be able to see. “Hey, there might be enemies ahead.”

Threatening Darkness - Distorted Reflections Chapter 3 - Mirrored Image His arms were pinned behind him, the crushing grip of the Dark Link clone forcing him to move forwards. He struggled, trying to dislodge the clone's hold to no avail. He stumbled as he was pushed roughly forward, coming to a stop in front of a large mirror. Wind only had seconds to react as the mirror split in two and he was forced inside, his bag, sword and shield torn from him in one fell swoop. "Asshole!" He yelled as he hit the ground on his arm. He winced, standing up in time to see Four and Hyrule treated similarly, though Wind notes with a bit of pride that he managed to at least somewhat cushion their falls by standing where they would have fallen. "You alright?" He asked Hyrule, but got no answer as the false door opened again. Legend was tossed inside, and Hyrule rushed to catch the veteran's unconscious body before more harm could be done. Wind walked over to them, and could feel the anxiety rolling like waves through his body. Legend looked rough, though his face was peaceful like this it was unnatural. The bruise on his temple was large, already starting to turn an ugly purple color with a small stream of blood matting his hair. He watched Hyrule mumble, carefully lifting Legend's eyelids and checking as much as he could for a concussion. "What's the verdict?" Four asked, quietly as he had been since Termina. "I can't tell if he's going to have a concussion after this. Best case scenario is he just has a really awful headache." Hyrule explained, brow still furrowed as he spoke. "Should we try to wake him up then?" Wind asked, the two heroes looked at him as they considered what he said. “Let’s move him away from the entrance first, then we can try that,” Hyrule agreed. Four nodded, looking around the room for a moment until he froze. With a shake of his head he then stood at Hyrule’s side as he propped Legend up, preparing to move him elsewhere. Wind frowned at Four’s reaction to the room, so he took the time to look around himself and took stock of their situation. It was a fairly large room with mirrors lining three walls, with only the way they came in devoid of them. There was no furniture, not even a rug to help against the cold tile floor. It was windowless as well, which made ideas of escape fewer than Wind would like. He opened his mouth to speak again, only for a yelp to startle him out of his thoughts. He turned to the entrance in time to see Wild sprawled out on the floor, hair fanning out around him. He raised a brow, kneeling next to the downed champion and placing a hand on his shoulder. “You okay there, Wild?” There was an annoyed huff, then Wild got into a sitting position, brushing Wind’s hand off in the process. He held his loose hair back with a hand, looking especially annoyed. “They took my hair tie!” he complained, and that got some giggles from the room’s occupants. “Why would they take that?” “How should I know! Them taking my slate made sense, same with all of my weapons I had out, but then taking my cloak and hair tie? That’s excessive!” Wind laughed, falling back onto his butt as he shook with laughter. He could hear the sounds of Hyrule’s quiet chuckles and even Four’s stifled laughter. It was nice to hear after so long without it. He wiped the tears from his eyes, then stood up, helping Wild to his feet.

Your nerves were on end until the class finished. You could feel Koda's eyes piercing the back of your skull. The thought that he knew everything you thought about him, kept on popping up. this led you down a rabbit hole that whatever you thought, he knew. Like the thought that I know, that you know, that I know, that you're a mind reader. HA SUCK MY DIC- ALRIGHT THATS ENOUGH OUTTA YOU. DON'T GET ME STARTED ON YOU, BUDDY BOY. HOW ABOU-

"You have a rather interesting and chaotic mind, ya know"

You looked up to see everyone around you packing up; the lesson was over. Koda was standing next to your table with an amused look on his face and arms crossed. You looked at Eliana for help, but she just swung her bag on her shoulder, mouthed 'good luck' as she winked, brown eyes sparkling, and skipped off, her black ponytail swinging.

You sighed defeatedly as you looked back at Koda sheepishly, finally meeting his hazel eyes. OK, mind blank. Empty. Void. remember that one time where- OK SHUT UP- HOW ABOUT- NO, I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU, YOU SHUT THE FU-

"How about we go to a place where we can shut your mind." Koda said grinning. You gaped at him, your mind spinning like a child on one of those spinny things at the park that always made you almost throw up, squealing with joy. You would need all the luck you could get.

He grabbed her hand and led her out of the class, past the lockers, and outside. They made their way across the pavement and then the oval. Koda led her down a corner to a group of trees that blocked the view of the school and showed a view of the reserve behind the school.

The green tops glowed as the early afternoon sun shone through them. A soft breeze blew through your hair slightly, as you went forward to hold the black fence bars, your mouth open in awe.

Your mind just stopped, taking in the scene. WOOAAAA PRETTY. This is what happens when you stop for once.

"Come and sit down." Koda said sitting down on a patch of grass and patting a spot next to him. You turn around and make eye contact as your brain goes down the rabbit hole again, He can see what I think, he knows what I think about him, I'm gonna kill myself. Take me with you, bestie.

Keyboards & Switches

Alright, so before I really got into the whole keyboard thing, I didn't know there were different types of switches in mechanical keyboards. Actually, I did, but my knowledge only went so far as to Cherry Reds or Cherry Blues. Since looking into the keyboard game/world, I've learned that the technical terms for it all were as follows: Linear, Tactile, Clicky.

I honestly don't know all too much about them currently since I'm still learning, but I prefer tactile switches. It's a good inbetween from Clicky and Linear. Although, you do get a more typing fatigue with tactile/clicky switches because of the feedback, so if you want something that wouldn't get your wrists/hands tired from typing so much (especailly if it's for work or for typing up papers for school), linear is your best way to go.

The fast response makes it so much easier and faster to type, but personally would make so many more errors because of the lack of physical feedback letting you know if you pressed the keys or not.

For gaming, Linear is really what's reccomended because of the fast response, but I found that I kept making a lot of mistakes gaming with Linear switches. It really just depends on what your preferences are.

Right now, for my HJS AL75 I'm using Holy Pandas v2 5-pin switches. For my 60% Alice I'm now using Holy Pandas V1 3-pin switches. but I used to have the KTT Halu-Halo V2 switches. For my 96% I'm using blue switches. The holy pandas are both Tactile switches, the 75% is just a bit more updated and 5-pins instead of 3. The Halu Halo V2 are linear swtiches.

I switches out the Halu-Halo switches for the Holy Pandas because I would play Pal World with my husband and I found myself accidentally hitting the space bar causing my character to jump for no reason. Really threw me off a lot and made me mess up a lot especially during battles with other pals or even bosses. I'll prolly build one of my unfinished keyboards to linear for FPS games since you really need a fast response when playing them. Though, I haven't touched a FPS game in so long.... prolly ... 5-6 years now.

Matt's let his vampirism take full control, leaving him a walking corpse constantly on the hunt for blood to keep his beautiful, youthful looks, and has also named himself King of the Night. Edd's radioactivity seemed to have backfired on him and jumbled his brain just a tad, he's gone completely off the wall and is desperate for his old friends again, when he catches wind that Tord is back, well... He seems very excited to get the gang back together.
