What do you do when it’s time to document december in Project Life, but you’ve already made a separate 20-page holiday album? My solution was to print out teeny photos of my holiday layouts and stick them in square pockets to basically create a reference sheet or index print of my Christmas album right inside my PL album. Lazy scrapping to the rescue once again! I love seeing all of these holiday memories shrunk down to a format where I can take in the whole vibe, but if I want to see the stories in a more consumable format, I can just go look at that other album. I plunged deep into my stash to document a day at the zoo with Dan. I finished up documenting our friends’ visit last fall with a giant photo of us in front of a giant tree, topped with a giant title and a giant journaling tag. Oh, and I also made us look a bit like giants by chopping our bodies in half and then spreading our bisected torsos across multiple pockets in this pocket page. Since the first 7-8 months of 2021 felt like a linear journey from pandemic restrictions to vaccines to things opening back up, I felt like I needed to document how the Delta Variant changed all that so it would make sense in my Project Life album when we masked back up and scaled back again on going out. “Hot Vaxxed Summer” had ended before it had even really begun.
