Shed 17 is overrated.

Completely Agree! I never understood the hype behind that video. I mean the gore is cool the first time around, but after that it just gets boring. It doesn’t help that the videos plot has more holes than Swiss cheese and makes even the shoddiest crackfic look like Shakespeare. Honestly, after the initial shock of what happens, the whole video is just bland, repetitive, lazy, overly edgy, badly written, and boring. So, I completely agree, it’s overrated and the only good thing about it is the visuals. Same goes for project g1.

I think these two are kinda dumb (they’re literally probably one of the only two smart ones in the whole Nemesis) While I hadn’t intended to get as into Transformers as I am now, I concede the fact that I just am and wanted to post my doodles. One will eventually be able to tell Soundwave is my goat 😌 I used to like Transformers when I was younger and he was my favorite then, and turns out he’s still my favorite which is nice

Made this kinda silly animation for school. Two weeks of definitely overworking myself, but I think what I made is pretty alright if I ignore my horrible voice acting skills. I just wanted to post somewhere and I am on no social medias so, thought Tumblr would probably like it most. Anyway, that's all! (Please accept me I am terrified.) Spoiler warning a bit

Like last year or a couple years ago idk I'm bad with time I had this idea for Disability Pride Month (which is July I think?) to have different characters I had special interest in, who had allegorical and/or literal narratives of disability that really struck me, especially those that included rage against ableism, against the system, and taking their power back in some way (maybe bc of all the jokes about Wrath Month). And then ironically I never got around to it because of my messy ADHD

I was gonna do studies with each character and wrote little notes about how their story arcs involved disability, etc.

Shed 17 struck me hard from a disability perspective, both because the biofused had such brutal physical things happening to their bodies (Thomas moving without fuel by his own strength nearly killing him, and the horrible things that happen when the engines organic parts malfunction, for examples) AND because they were simultaneously being exploited and left to die. I felt Thomas's rage at the end of Project G-1, the pain of being taken advantage of in so many ways, finally breaking through and laying blame on his abusers and "allies" who watched and did nothing alike.

sometimes megatron catches starscream disabling his thrusters and falling like a meteor towards earth, in the heat of battle as if he stopped caring what happens to him or the cause

starscream always catches himself and descends onto the autobots in familiar fury but the sense of dread never quite leaves

nobody mentions how they never see screamer refuel (some think he runs solely on spite and ambition) but he always seems to function normally so who knows

he still keeps his paint perfect and finish shining - it‘s not like anybody can see the little scars on his insides anyway, armor hiding them too well

as long as he doesn‘t collapse in the middle of a meeting cuz he‘s losing energon faster than he can say lord megatron, everything is fine

the flinching, typical beatings, haunted look in his optics

(i like to think starscream is an expert at hurting himself in ways nobody can see, not eating and covering his wounds and it‘s just a matter of time before he burns too bright, going up into flames like the stars themselves- a supernova)

So when he's littler he can be a Nissan atla, they're pretty cute, but reaching adulthood he'd be a Nissan big thumb, and getting a mod to have a trailer too.

Optimus only has a flat bed so Im doing the old reliable transformer design of putting stuff u don't know how to fit into the back. If he diddnt have a trailer, the bed sides could just be a part of his legs but he modded to have wings so he can get used to the weight distribution easier.

Big thumbs are 12 feet tall, G1 Optimus is a Freightliner making him also 12 feet, and G1 Ratchet is a Nissan cherry vanette, which are almost 6 feet (5"10 to be exact)

I thought that the big thumb would be a bit smaller then Optimus but damn, Ratchet is gonna have to deal with 2 giant trucks.
