September 10, Aegis's birthday, and I finished my story's first draft!!!!!!!!!!!

The first original long story I managed to stick to and finish. Took a little over a year. WOOH

It ended at 103,965 words. Which was 20,000 more than I'd aimed for but thankfully way shorter than I was fearing the word count would climb.

I am collapsing now that this long term project's in a place where I can take a break, I'm going to do non project hobbies for a while like reading and games. I am so hype that I finished this draft. Past mejo would be so fucking over the moon I managed to write the story down, finallyyyyy

#rant #mejo writing #of course. thanks to past mejo I have at least 3 more stories from my mind past me would like to see on paper someday #and then another 4 i have partly written and would like to see finished one day #ha haaaa #i dont know that i'll ever be the kind of writer who can churn out books in 3 months while also doing OTHER projects and life stuff #but dang am i jealous of them lol #like. Savy Writes Books on youtube wrote a 35k romance novel in like 3 months #as a side project on top of OTHER writing projects. and like. i would love to one day be both Concise enough and focused enough #to do even 1 project in 3-5 months.#for future mejo: the hardest fucking part of all of it was battling 1. adhd #.....the inability to fucking focus took this so much longer than it could have. and 2. perfectionist voice in my mind really steamrolled #progress and also slowed it down more than it otherwise wouldve taken #strengths? i got ideas pretty reliably and easily its mostly just a matter of focusing on visually setting a scene if i cant decide how to #start. and battling the annoying perfectionist voice second guessing me as i try to WRITE the ideas
