((This is based on likes!  Based on how many likes this post gets by the end of July 18th, 2023, this’ll determine the stakes level of the event starting in early August.  Greater than 100, the Paldean government finally gives the legal thumbs’ up and provides some funding, giving a relatively smooth ride and making this low/drama stakes.  Less than 100, but greater than 50, the Paldean government still gives the approval, but we’re on our own in terms of building everything up, making this medium stakes.  And less than 50, no approval, but wanting to do something, we ourselves commit crime in an attempt to make Area Zero just a bit safer, making it high stakes.))

good news and bad news

good news is that she agreed the paldean government should start handing out more permits to enter area zero, esp with my ideas to actually help keep intruders OUT.

the bad news? the funding is gonna be fucking pitiful. chances are we might need to pay out of pocket. but that comes with the upside that outside the need for permits the area zero division can be mostly independent.

i need to treat myself after an HOURS LONG meeting.
