Danny, after losing his home in Amity Park, begins to travel not only the world but different dimensions. He doesn't really want to be tracked down so he starts using aliases made by combining the first and last names of the people he was made from and sometimes he even used the name he had chosen when he escaped the labs.
His favorite name was Danny Drake, cause not only did it have a nice ring to it but it also made him feel like he belonged somewhere. He after wondered if they would love him if they knew of him. Maybe he would know if he had more than just tiny shards of thier memories. He had enough to know thier names and a few of thier likes and dislikes, but not enough to know if they would turn him in to the government or not.
Not really a risk worth taking.
Anyway, it was in a new world that felt weirdly nostalgic that Danny made a terrible mistake. Danny had dressed appropriately by buying clothes the desert locals were selling and was getting ready to head out into the desert when the camel rental guy asked for his name.
"Danyal Al Ghul." The man gave him a look of horror as his pen fell from his hands. Dannys smile similarly dropped, his confusion growing as this man dropped to the ground. Danny didn't know what his Al Ghul dad did to be so feared but he wasn't sticking around to find out.
On impulse he ran into the nearest tent and turned invisible before going ghost and getting out of there. He could probably fly out of the desert quick enough for it not to really matter that he was under prepaired. Probably.
In the mean time an assassin reported to the demons head about some child using the Al Ghul name. Needless to say one of the fancy ninjas managed to destroy Danny's portal gun and he's now stranded in this dimension. Uh oh.

You could make it to where hes still super op but no longer has the control from before, adding to the angst and potential danger.
You could also make it an au where the portal exploded upon initially frying him and threw him into the ghost zone. He looks for a way home and learns about his "real dads" and comes to them instead.
There's also the possibility of ghost zone time shenanigans which opens up more possibilities
Six years old is a perfect age. My nephew is 6 and he's at that stage where he's super chatty and doesn't fully understand boundaries yet and is very curious and confused about everything. Also he adds "Um" at the beginning of every other sentence cause he gets too excited when he talks and its so cute.
A six year old can speak sure but they're still very small children that don't understand a lot of stuff and can be very grating, especially if your unprepared. I can see the bat boys maybe getting annoyed with Danny and having to explain things multiple times (thats just a part of parenting) and maybe lashing out and making Danny cry.
If Damian is in this can he be protective of Danny? Like, overprotective? Like, "I will end your pathetic bloodline if you make him cry" protective?
Idk I have a lot of thoughts about this
Mm. Pain.
Project R au where Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, and Tim Drake have a kinda sorta custody battle (more like argument) about who should take in Danny.
The twist? None of them want to take Danny in and are trying to force him onto the others. Each has valid reasons not to take Danny in, Jason is a crime lord, Dick has had paparazzi trailing him around lately, Tim is still a minor and can't take in anyone, ect. Theres a million reasons for each of them. Unfortunately no one realized Danny was overhearing all of this from another room.
Danny had spent so much time building his dads up in his mind, thinking that when he finally found them everything would be great. He never even considered his dads wouldn't want him. Heck, how was he supposed to know his dads were adopted brothers? He kinda understands how this was weird but...what about him? He didn't really have anywhere to go but...should he just leave?
Maybe that would be for the best...
