Finding out that most of my family members thought it was rude that I left the room to have some alone time during thanksgiving bc I was experiencing sensory overload. When is it gonna click with them that my autism doesn’t begin and end with my special interests
#probably delete later but UGGGGH#they put a positive spin on my special interests bc it makes me good at my job#but everything else I experience bc of autism they’re like why are you so weird? maybe just get over it?#it’s like they think i can simply willpower my way out of having negative autistic traits#and that it’s a moral failing that i can’t
