Y'all ever think that McCoy and Kirk are just hiding their accents 90% of the time? Because I know for a fact that McCoy just gives up on hiding it in the TNG episode he was in.

I just can imagine both of them slipping into their accents more and more when they get really sleep deprived or get really drunk or just don't care [probably only when they're in each other's company].

If I'm really being honest most of the bridge crew probably have accents their hiding which is borderline hilarious when you just see Scotty and Chekov just running around proudly with their accents.
