so. every spring, the florists get in boxes of palm buds. which are each like 3-4′ long and big enough around that I can’t always touch thumb to middle finger when picking one up. a box (split up into 2s and 3s for orders) takes up most of a whole cooler shelf.

churches buy them for some ? ceremony?? where they rip them apart. or something. idk. but I looked at a calendar today and oh hey it’s the day they do that. so tomorrow there will be more room in the cooler. yippee.

#easter is another centerpieces and 'churches ordering 100 of a plant all with matching foil' thing. like christmas.#different plants. different colors in the centerpieces. same basic product. same wrapping-for-delivery techniques.#idk where I'll be helping out!#probably both areas! plus the shop! someone please make a cloning device. we're dying.#every year I ask the florists about christian rituals. and someone explains. and I go 'ok thanks' and immediately forget #this one is related to the 'putting dirt on your face on purpose' day right? yes? or is that in the winter too
