oh my god we got blindsided by a management decision (about work from home ofc) during our big team meeting at like 11 AM today and i am still seething. i literally spent all afternoon touching base with everyone on the crew before asking our supervisors to give us an actual discussion meeting about it and i need to let it go for now and enjoy my weekend but i'm still just so keyed up!!!

#vent #i am SO MAD #i hate confrontation so much it's honestly a problem but if i am part of a group and our anger is justified i WILL say something #honestly it objectively isn't that big a deal for me cause i live close and don't have kids or pets or anything but idc i LIKE wfh #plus it affects everyone on the crew different amounts! it really sucks for my field partner for example!#it's kind of like that post about being able to stand up for a friend who got the wrong food but not yourself #unlocks the power knowing that THE TEAM was done dirty #arghghghghghhhhh #even if this is their final decision and they won't change it they need to understand how poorly they handled this #probably 70% of the rage is primarily about what a mess they made of expectation management and rolling this out #i like our supervisors most of the time but oh my god. disaster
