*Ode, who appears to be a Victorian banshee, sits up and turns around, smiling at him....*

"Good evening, Nathan."

*She just shrugs. Vaga rolls up his sleeves and helps scoop Nathan into the bowl as well, trying his best to stay clean. Nova only cares about twice as much, his leotard and sleeves are already a little stained.*

there's no way you're going to get every single drop of ink but you can get most, which is enough. The rest could just be cleaned normally.

God he feels bad that he had to make a bigger mess, even though he knows it's not his fault directly.

*He walks out of the bathroom and sits next to them, watching with a smile.*

(Cute.... both of them....)

*He accidentally stares a bit.*

he plops toast in his lap with a laugh.

I suppose I shall spend quite some time polishing this arrangement... do find me if needed.

*they sign it too before walking off.*

We're gonna go do something too, bye!

*aaaand they run off too.*

he waves as they leave.

Now it's just him vaga and toast..

*He takes it with a squeeze and steps through, as Ode looks through some quick improvised sheet music, showing it to Nova and Miro.*

I was struck with inspiration during the festival... while I could not bring myself to participate, I did arrange a short piece that I hope may capture the vividty of the experience, and the nature of the event as a whole.

Oooo!

*The song is titled "Hazy Leaves Overture", as Nathan can see. Its short, but there are already so many notes and adjustments to about 5 lines of music.*

it fascinates him as he tries to imagine what it would be like when it's played.

*As they leave the crowd, they see Ode leaning against a wall, right where the group entered, with their hair covering their eye. They didn't even enter the festival the whole time, it appears... their face is blank, almost dismal, until they see the four walk out.*

Greetings, you four. Did you all have fun? *they sign this too.

Yeah!!!

Nathan holds up toast like he's the most precious prize ever received, which he is.

*Vaga bites back a smile.*

"Perhaps it is time we start going back to the castle... what do you say?"

"Nathan? Are you alright?"

*Mirobelle looks a bit concerned.*

"I think they'll be alright... they're probably still here, just on the outskirts of the town."

he nods.

... Have you guys seen Ode anywhere?

Uh-uh.

Not really.... theres a lot of guys here. We know how they are with guys.

"should we see if they're back at the kingdom?"

[inky-scribes]

*She shakes her head just slightly and mouths a "thank you" to them as they head back. Vaga's still working on his pumpkin, with Nova leaning on his shoulder and watching, the two quietly talking until they see Nathan and Miro.*

"Oh hey guys!!!"

he waves.

*Miro shyly shows them her pumpkin too... it's only a heart. But she made VERY sure to get it as perfectly even as possible, and she did a good job too.*

Oh, I like that a lot!

Mhm! It's really cute!!!

he gives a thumbs up with a big smile.

*Miro looks away, growing bashful, as Nova beams and blushes.*

"We know! Thank you!"

he smiles.

I'm not THAT childish.

*She gives him a quick peck on the cheek. Her face seems to darken a bit.*

*Vaga laughs a bit. He's not used to Nova being so easily shut down.&

"you two are cute together."

"I used to take care of kids a lot, he isn't so hard to handle."
