He's almost here! He's almost here - Hurry now! Siobhan had scurried between the dinning area and her bedroom, prepping for Stolas' arrival - her best friend. A white cloth with a black rose in its centre lied over the table; a tea pot recently brewed with apple cinnamon tea, and two tea cups stood on top. A plate covered in bannock beside. It was perfect, it probably was a bit too much for just a simple catch up, but Siobhan wanted everything to be perfect.

It took her nearly two hours just to clean up the apartment. Her brother decided to put the home in an awful state after having a party with a few other vampires. It had annoyed her greatly, especially with him not even bothering to clean up afterwards. How fucking rude.

Siobhan had just finished putting her hair in a side braid, immediately grinning from ear to ear as she spotted the goeatian demon. He's here! With a giggle, she darted towards him, arms stretched out wide - wrapping tightly around him. She really missed him, it has been awhile since they last seen each other. She knew he was busy who had a family, but still - she was grateful enough that he took a bit of time to meet with her. It was a surprise for her to be friends with a demon, well, a goetia, but they had a friendship that she prayed nearly everyday that it would never shatter. She truly cared and loved him, he was her best friend.

Her eyes lit up like stars as the flower had magically bloomed. Stolas' magic was incredible, always bringing her so much joy. The redhead got on her tippy toes, a hand reached over to touch his cheek. I've missed you, too. She would take his hand, guiding him to the dinning hall. She would let go and go over to an empty chair, pulling it out. Please, join me for tea.

A finger was raised, one moment - and she would rush to her bedroom. A few minutes would past, Siobhan would return to the dinning area, holding something small and black in her arms. Adjusting herself, she held out an animal - a two-headed rabbit, its bright red eyes curiously stared at Stolas. One head's attention flickered on to the table, its eyes widen slightly upon the sight of freshly baked bannock. Its small head tilted upward, sniffing the air. It sure did smell good.

It was bound to happen eventually, for there to be a meeting he couldn't miss scheduled on Extermination Day. While he could have probably ordered a rescheduling, Lucifer honestly didn't mind getting away from the mess. He didn't need to be anywhere near Pentagram City anyway. In fact, it was a reprieve. He still had his responsibilities, though. He wouldn't let the one sinner not tainted with Original Sin become collateral. It had been decided long ago. And what could he say, he had a soft spot for first humans.

So it was practically a no-brainer that he brought Kari in tow when he went on official business on this day in particular. She was told to keep to herself and stay out of the way since most of this stuff would probably mean nothing to her anyway.

Kari hadn't really had much experience dealing with Hell royals outside of the Morningstar family, especially not in a formal setting. She had been to a few parties but that was Not this. She stuck close to Lucifer as they entered. She knew he was right that she would have no idea what they were talking about. It wasn't as though she had ever been interested in the politics anyway.

She hung back, more interested in observing the people socializing before the meeting was to start. Maybe she could start up a conversation so she didn't feel so... Very much out of place. She was definitely the most... Humanoid of all the people here who sported more animalistic features.

Now that Husk was working for Hell’s royal family, he was growing more accustomed to visits from curious nobles. Status or no, Stolas was a patron, and it was Husk’s concierge duty to help him feel welcome.

“Well,” he began, grabbing a bottle of Empress Gin, “suppose I’ve always been able to narrow my attraction down to three types: eccentric performers, milfs, and soft nerds. ‘S not like I’ve got a rubric for that sorta thing - it’s always been more about natural chemistry for me.”

The bartender poured the purple alcohol into a martini glass, along with citrus liqueurs, juices, and syrups. He topped the cocktail off with some edible glitter and a toothpick-skewered lemon rind that resembled a crescent moon.

Sliding it across the counter, Husk eyes Stolas curiously. “And you?”

Once Kari had been more or less left behind while the Big Important Conversations were being had, she let out a bit of a sigh. It felt less stressful to not be around so many important people at once. Lucifer she was comfortable with, everyone else, not so much.

But she was aware that she wasn't completely alone and she was aware he was meant to be her escort, to keep her company while other things were happening. They hadn't quite been formally introduced, but she knew he was called Stolas at least, so she wasn't completely left in the dark. She couldn't help but feel impressed by his overly cordial nature and could only react in kind, curtseying to him as he raised from his bow with a wide smile.

She took his hand to shake as she replied. "And it's a pleasure to meet you too, Stolas. Uh. Prince Stolas? Should I refer to you by title?" She may have been close to Lucifer and Lilith and referred to them casually, but she was still outside Nobility and she didn't want to make a bad impression by being too informal.

As he went off on his spiel of what the day ahead would be like, she couldn't help but find the way he rambled and practically overcorrected within the same breath to be charming in its own way. He seemed... nervous? Certainly eager to make a good impression. She could relate. She didn't go quite as formal, probably because she wasn't trained to, but she'd certainly had time of trying her hardest around new people.

"Honestly? I'm interested to know what you have planned! If something's not up to my speed, we can maybe talk about it then. But I'm open to new experiences and retreading old ones. So whatever you have in store, I'd like to know!"
