zora may 7 - shape of water + sky/depths

237 words, the longest one so far. A follow-up to Ancient + Storm, set the next day.

The princess woke me early. She was excited to take me to the shelter. It was a rather long swim through the Domain. Even down a waterfall rolling into a Chasm. How she and the Prince had gone all the way in the Depths with none of us realizing is a little horrifying to consider. How many dangers had they faced with no one to know?

But the young royals had returned safely. And the journey back was just as safe. They're exploring as I write, running around and messing around. They're discussing turning it into a playhouse for the young Zora. I suppose that wouldn't hurt.

Uncle Bazz has to assign guards down here. I know he will. He's always doing that. He likes making sure us little royals are safe. He will tell dad if we let him. Aris is practising his magic so we can fool him.

Ororo is excited about this place. More than we are. She won't let us make it a clubhouse until she's done exploring. She’s gonna be messing with the stuff on land a while. (There’s a scratched-off word, looks like Nimne messed up writing ‘while’ a few times.) Until she’s done, Aris and I are gonna be exploring the rivers. Zili better not tell dad about this place.

Zora may 4 - Ancient + storm

Take two, this time set much much after TOTK, featuring two of Camza and Sidon's kids- Zili and Nimne. 164 words

It is hard to keep the heir contained. Even without his magic inherited from his mother, or the powers from his father. Prince Zili and Princess Nimne are always running or swimming off to explore the domain.

Captain Bazz tries to keep someone with them. He tries to ensure they're safe. He has a strange connection to Nimne. It is not a scholar's place to speculate on the relationship, but it has been noticed how similar she looks to the captain. And how her brothers are so much closer to our King Sidon.

The bright side, I suppose, is that Nimne is always excited to tell me about what they explore. She loves to bring me to see their recent discoveries. Today, she and her brother found an abandoned storm shelter. I plan to investigate tomorrow. From what she has already told me, it seems to be a fallen Zonai structure. I will find out for certain when she leads me there tomorrow.
