So hey, I’m finally getting caught up on Dungeons and Drag Queens Season 2, having binged season 1 last week, and the most important thing I have to say about episode 1 is this:

Princess is ABSOLUTELY correct, Aasiya is super hot and the best choice by far. High odds she’s pulling some sort of Aladdin gambit, mind, but that just gives her extra anticapitalist swag!

watched the first episode of dndrag queens s2 last night and

1) i don’t care if it’s too soon i will be drawing princess x aasiya art immediately

2) in true alaska fashion, she seems so much more comfortable now that it’s her second time around and she knows what she’s doing. the air of confidence she has already makes me so so excited, i can tell she’s really prepared to get her hands dirty this season. she’s such a good storyteller (check out drag the musical if you haven’t already) and a real competitive bitch so i’m looking forward to that SO much

Hot take but my ideal epilogue is that Aasiya & Princess date for like 3 months, she realizes the person she was when Aasiya first saw and fell in love with her is long gone and they amicably part ways but she goes to Winter’s Eve for Twyla’s wedding and reconnects with Rolgar.

current theory on princess aasiya is that she's trying to pull a full aladdin and got a wish spell (or possibly an actual genie) to give her some measure of power or influence but doesn't have everything she's claiming and definitely grew up with nothing.
