There’s a protest in honour of Tina Fontaine on February 26th, 2018 in Prince George, BC. This is in response to Raymond Cormier’s acquittal of 2nd degree murder in Tina Fontaine’s death.

We will be meeting at the Prince George Courthouse and marching peacefully to the Ministry of Child and Family Services (1160 - 7th Ave) to show our support and send our love to the family of Tina Fontaine during this difficult time. We want to bring awareness to Indigenous issues and take a stance on the systemic racism that often leads to government and ministry disproportionately seizing Indigenous children. We ESPECIALLY want to send a message to our youth in care that they matter, are important, valuable, and most of all LOVED! ♥ Please contact Kasandra Mae if you would like to speak!
