Swtor companion gifts. Sometimes I amuse myself by looking into what type of gifts companions like

Arcann likes commissioned art, a little bit. Is it a personalized holoportrait of himself? Of you, the gifter? Or his favorite rarepair? Pet portrait of his exoboars? We don't know.

The silly part of me wants to think "personal aroma set" is akin to Axe Bodyspray just because the boy looks like someone you know who uses too much of it - but I'm sure it's something more refinedm being ex-prince and all. Is it perfume? Is it scented candles? it could be insence? Whatever it may be, he likes to smell moderately nice.

But he really likes sith opera! Quinn likes it too. They can listen to it together, To the detriment of rest of the alliance, Quinn with his tenor and Arcann's baritone they form a delightful duo on Odessen Talent Nights. Together they can hit some of the notes. Fun to watch, not so much to listen.

Let's give Thexan at least some role in the plot. Please?

Yknow... I never really understood where, at the end of it all, Thexan's ghost actually was? Like... The only time we saw him (apart from that one single 5 seconds long flashback) was in echoes of oblivion where he (finally) joins his family to help them beat the shit out of Valkorion. But here's a question, why didn't he join them earlier? I mean beside lazy writing and rushed plot? It's not explained, he could've showed up in the final of 9th chapter like with no problem? Where were you all this time bae???

Ok. So. Just imagine. KOTET. Chapter 7. Nathema. Outlander and Arcann (who, lets be honest should be the one to go there with you, I take no criticism) sneak into sanitarium.

Everything goes as it was in a game. They find records, zealots, later find Jarak and get into Valkorion's vault... And at some point Arcann feels something. They find the holocrone, open it, but instead of finding lord Dramath in it they find... Thexan! His damn ghost, cut off from the world, bounded to the ancient holocrone, absolutely alone and helpless to do anything.

Now that would make A LOT MORE sense and impact on subsequent events.

Lemme explain. First off all, Thexan is proven to be strong enough to not to become one with the force and (to me at least) always seemed to be the connecting link that kept all family members together. Without him being around EVERYTHING quickly goes to hellfire! There's no one to balance Arcann out (or just assure him that he does not hold a grudge against him), no one to help Vaylin with... well, everything that happened to her, and no one to call for outside help! And second of all, he cares enough to at least TRY to help his family even like that. So... primarily because of all this Valkorion have to make sure no one intervene his plans so he cages him soon after death.

"But he doesn't have to be imprisoned, Valkorion could just use his powers to stop him from approaching his siblings or Zakuul at all!" you may say.

Okay, but let me tell you that there's no way, you hear me? there's no fucking way, that in that scenario he wouldn't IMMEDIATELY rush to Senya, telling her EVERYTHING that's happened with them. Prisoning Thexan would literally be a pro gamer move from Valkorion.

Back to Nathema!

Thexan explains why Valkorion imprisoned him there and gives some suggestions on how to kill him (after all he's been alone for a while, got some stuff to think about, maybe even had several conversations with dearest father as a ghost). Arcann finally gets the chance to apologize for everything he did to his brother (or didn't do, when should've), and Thexan explains that he himself is not without mistakes, and that his humility and serenity might've caused as much pain for all of them as Arcann's impulsiveness. In the end dialogue gets interrupted by flows if Vaylin's power, so strong that she might destroy the whole place in minutes. They say goodbye to eachother, not knowing if they'll ever be able to meet again. Outlander sets Thexan free from holocrone, and he fades saying that he'll try to help them even with all the small power he has left.

How am I only just realising now that Arcann is Zuko (from ATLA)?

A prince whose father's love in conditional on the basis of pitting them against their siblings, and has spent years competing for honour and paternal affection, as well as their place in their empire?

Is obsessed with the MC and the threat their power poses to their empire? Of which during their redemption arc becomes close friends with that MC and helps them to defeat their father?

Has an insanely powerful, unstable, but misunderstood sister, who is wielded as a weapon by the father, which Arcann/Zuko eventually has to battle?

...and of course the scar (which is coincidentally on the same side of their faces)

Hargrev - The Reformed

Masterlist

Commonly known as a depraved and sadistic madman, Hargrev had less prospects as a Sith Lord than one might think. Often overlooked for advancement due to his temperament, he remained the apprentice to Darth Silthar, within the Sphere of Ancient Knowledge, until Silthar's death on Tatooine.

Soon after, he transferred to the Sphere of Mysteries and was ordered to lead the Dread Executioners to Oricon, to deal with the Dread Masters. However, upon their arrival, they were physically and mentally assaulted until their fleet was destroyed and the survivors stranded across the surface.

Somewhat an expert in madness and fear, he proved adept in shielding many of the survivors for the worst of the Dread Masters' power until reinforcements arrived. Dealing with the intensity of the psychological attacks made Hargrev change his ways whilst stranded on the planet, abandoning many of his psychotic ways.

Joining forces with Master Ogan-Dei and the Barsen'thor, they are collectively able to protect many Galactic Republic and Imperial soldiers, allowing the Emperor's Wrath to lead an attack which ended the Dread Master's as a threat and destroyed everything they had created.

Leaving Oricon, he continues to reform his ways, vowing not to end up like the Dread Masters. He achieves the rank of Darth for his actions during the Dread War and collects a group of Sith and Imperial personnel under him which he grows to care for much more than the average Sith, leading them to continue the Sphere of Mysteries' mission to safeguard dangerous Sith and Imperial knowledge.

A large portion of the Empire is wiped out when Prince Arcann leads his campaign against them. Hargrev and his people are stuck on Dromund Kaas when it is blockaded, suffering heavy losses due to fighting, starvation and bombardment. It is this intense loss of those he had grown to care for that fuels Hargrev's reasoning for joining a fledging Eternal Alliance, bringing with him a wealth of secret and dangerous knowledge to use to their advantage.

Oath of fealty: A feudal ritual by which a vassal or knight would swear eternal devotion and loyalty unto death to his Lord or Lady. Followed by a lifetime of mutual pining, longing gazes, heartfelt declarations, chivalric questing and self-sacrifice. Remind you of anyone? A certain former prince and ex-emperor who is currently on a quest to prove his worth to his Commander, perhaps??

At the Platform Six Cantina Podcast, we're obsessed with how Arcann's story draws on conventions from courtly love and chivalric romance. We can't wait to see his triumphant return in just a few more weeks! 7.3 HYPE!!!

Xala’sen’akostro stood poised and ready, twin sabers lit and crackling. Glowing red eyes were narrowed in a frown, head angled to one side. She had expected to meet Prince Arcann in the midst of combat, for him to rush at her with intent to strike her down, just as he had done so many of her fellow Knights. Just as his twin was doing elsewhere on the field.

Instead: this. A statement much akin to something she would hear from the mouth of a Sith, words made to give her pause, to reconsider her actions.

“Who hasn’t?” she shot back, an expression of defiance taking its place upon her countenance. She levelled one lightsaber to point at him. “I am prepared to stand against you no matter if it kills me. Are you prepared to do the same?”

Alliance Alert: Reunion

Requirement: The Dragon’s Maw

Overview: 

I think it best that we have this 'reunion' back home, where it all started. I'll be waiting at your estate on Alderaan. You owe me an explanation for what happened to you and why I sensed your 'death'.

A few months after Ligastar was put into carbonite Cain went 'missing'. Cain genuinely felt his twin die and it broke something in him. He goes off on a personal crusade against the Eternal Empire dead set on killing Arcann. During this time he is nearly fully consumed by the dark side several times.

When Ligastar returns five years later Cain is contacted by his older brother. Solaris tells him that this little brother is alive and has become the commander of the alliance. Cain does not believe him as he still cannot sense his twin through the force. What he doesn't realize is Valkorion's possession of Ligastar has fucked with their ability to sense one another.

On Nar Shaddaa Cain finally makes contact with Arcann and actually fights him in a sheer fit of rage. Arcann, who had been healed by, manages to subdue Cain after realizing he was not righting the commander. He sense in Cain a familiar rage and knows it will consume him if left unchecked.

It takes a shit ton of work but Arcann eventually convinces Cain to help him. He reveals everything including the fact that Ligastar risked everything to allow Senya to heal him. During his time aiding Arcann he became known as "The Princes Wrath" by man supporters. When they crash Vaylin's party he is surprised to see his brother. It's also at this point in time he finally understands what Arcann told him. Valkorion is indeed possessing his brother. the only reason eh can sense this is due to having been possessed himself on Ziost. However, he puts his current mission first and helps Arcann find Vaylin.

On Odessen Ligastar receives this alert and travels to Alderaan where the twins have an extremely emotional reunion.

Arvanyk Donos + Risha Drayen

Karo Arak Drayen - smuggler, b 3630 BBY, Bisexual

He is nonchalant and selfish, taking after his parents. 

As a prince, he does have some interest in reclaiming his birthright on the ravaged planet of Dubrillion. He tries to convince his mother that it is worth returning to Dubrillion, although she is more hesitant after all the problems that occurred and the devastation caused by Vaylin.

Due to that royal lineage, he uses his mother’s last name.

Even if that doesn’t happen, however, he is happy with working as a smuggler. He always worked beside his parent’s crew, officially joining them in his early teens.

He is a capable pilot, thanks to his father’s lessons.

Eildasa Falstrom + Doc

Cana Eva Kimble - Field Medic, b.3638 BBY, Lesbian

The oldest of the triplets. 

She is caring and altruistic, willing to put herself in danger to help others. She also holds grudges. 

Like the rest of her siblings, she was taken to Ossus after he mother disappeared and raised there until they were reunited.

She was always fascinated by medicine due to her father and is closer to him than her mother. 

Despite understanding why and how her mother disappeared, she cannot completely let go of the resentment and abandonment she felt as a child. They have a relatively good relationship, but Cana can be bitter at times.

While she is a part of the Republic military, she finds more joy in treating refugees and others in rough situations.

Kalen Din Kimble - Entertainment journalist, b.3638 BBY, Straight

The second born of the triplets.

He is friendly and outgoing, although he can also come across as obnoxious. He tries to make people feel included.

Like the rest of his siblings, he was taken to Ossus after he mother disappeared and raised there until they were reunited.

He likes to gossip.

Despite not being force sensitive, he would often join his brother in training. He still enjoys meditation. He also knows that basics of lightsaber combat and could apply it to an electrosword if needed. However, Kalen has no interest in fighting.

He lives on Coruscant.

Jaden Korr is his descendant.

Arvis Jon Kimble - Jedi, b. 3638 BBY, Ace

The youngest of the triplets, and the only one that is force sensitive.

He is quiet and reserved, as well as awkward. He loosens up around his siblings. They like to tease him.

Like the rest of her siblings, he was taken to Ossus after he mother disappeared and raised there until they were reunited.

On Ossus, he began his Jedi training as a youngling.

Unlike his mother, he experiences visions, including one as a child that predicted his mother finding them. As a child, he was frightened by his visions.

As Arvis would enter a trance when a vision occurred, other children -- even force sensitive children -- considered him a bit strange. His siblings were very protective of him due to this.

After leaving Ossus and being reunited with his mother, he was trained by a variety of masters who were friends with his mother -- including Sith, to a degree. This includes Kira Carsen, Lord Scourge, Arcann, Lana Beniko. His mother, the Battlemaster, also instructed him, but Kira was his true master. 

Due to both being force sensitives, and being trained by her, Arvis is closer to his mother than his father.

A’arri Nylos + Malavai Quinn

Kaia Venia Nylos - Sith, b. 3631 BBY, Bisexual

She is clumsy and awkward, and her hair can never stay in it’s place. Her mother and father have no idea how this happened.  

Despite being a Sith, she has a friendly relationship with the Kimble siblings due to the strange friendship that A’arri and Eildasa have. As a child, she had a crush on Cana. This never went anywhere due to the seven year age gap, and they now have a more sister-like relationship.

She has a very close relationship with her maternal grandfather.

Both of her parents, as a high ranking Sith and and Imperial officer were strict and emphasized education (both in the Force and general education) when she was growing up. 

She was raised more by her father. Her relationship with her mother is more distant and based on respect rather than affection. Despite this, she does love her mother and wishes they were closer. Maternal affection isn’t something A’arri knows how to show to her own distant relationship with her mother/Kaia’s grandmother, but she also loves her daughter.

A’arri was not Kaia’s master. She believed it was better that family does not teach or rely on each other, and that her daughter would benefit more from having a different master. That did not prevent her from teaching her daughter her own skills at times, however.

Even though she is clumsy and amiable, Kaia does have mastery over the dark side and is a capable Sith.

Alytea Kalish + Andronikos Revel

Akhyrr Kalish - Sith, b. 3640 (a. 3639) BBY, Straight

He is severe and powerful. While typically stoic, he can sometimes become very fervid - usually in battle.

Like most cathar, Akhyrr was born in a litter. However, he was the only one who survived. 

He is the son of Alytea’s sister, who was still a slave when he was born. When Alytea found them again, his sister refused to leave in order to try to track down the rest of their family (who had been sent to different places after Alytea’s rise to power). Instead, she gave Alytea her only surviving child to take.

He was raised and trained by Alytea, who he deeply loves and regards as a mother. He is not as emotional or cruel as her, but he has no qualms about embracing the dark side. 

He is also skilled with a blaster due to his adoptive father/uncle.

Miylan Tanik + Aric Jorgan

Rasahiri Tanik-Jorgan - Painter, b. 3639 (a. 3631) BBY, Bisexual

Carefree, solitary, and a bit rude.

She was orphaned during the war against Zakuul and is originally from Corellia. Shortly after the war, she was adopted.

Despite her adoptive parent’s career, she is anti-military. She feels somewhat hypocritical about this due to her closeness to them.

Rasahiri and her adoptive sister tend to bicker.

She is called Rasi for short.

She specializes in painting murals and her fur tends to have paint on it. Due to this, it tends to feel a bit crunchy.

She lives on Coruscant.

Rumhi Tanik-Jorgan - Accountant, b.3636 (a.3631) BBY, Bisexual 

Shy, anxious, and very smart; she has an inferiority complex.

She was orphaned during the war against Zakuul and is originally from Onderon. Shortly after the war, she was adopted.

Despite being raised by Miylan and Aric from a young age, she is a bit distant from them. She refers to them by their first names.

Unlike most Cathar, Rumhi keeps her nails clipped (which she has to do often due to the speed at which they grow). This allows her to wear close toed shoes and gloves comfortably. 

She strongly enjoys math and board games.

Ruzei Vusuyu + Koth Vortena

Cira Alie Vortena - Therapist, b. 3631 BBY, Straight

Intelligent, stubborn, and outgoing.

Cira deeply believes in fighting for her ideals, a trait she inherited from her parents. 

She is very protective of her younger brother.

When she was younger she was a part of a band with her brother as a drummer and singer, but she decided to leave it to focus on her education. That band eventually broke up.

She has a strong interest in fashion and beauty. Looking cute is a priority.

Cira loves spending time with children and hopes to have a family of her own.

Nath Vosh Kortena - Singer, b. 3630 BBT, Gay

Confident, sarcastic, and fashionable.

He is very attached to his older sister; she is his best friend.

Despite both of his parents being pilots he (nor his sister) know how to fly. Unlike his sister, he also does not enjoy flying, thus he does not travel much.

Fashion comes easily to Nath and he doesn’t put much effort into his appearance. His natural charisma makes him feel fashionable -- something his sister is a little envious of.

Due to his dislike of flying, Nath and his band do not travel.

He is the lead singer of his band, Auresh Besh. They are a jazz hybrid band.

Sahihr Namur + Torian Cadera

Eron Cadera - Mandalorian Beastmaster, b. 3632 BBY, Bisexual

The elder of the twins. He is quiet and methodical. 

He has faced some prejudice from other Mandalorians for being half-Cathar, half-Human. They claim he is able to be a beastmaster because he is half-beast himself. 

Although Eron doesn’t seem like the kind to be bothered, he is actually very sensitive. He keeps his emotions bottled up.

He has a pet akk dog given to him by his Jedi uncle, Reshkah. He named her Ca’galaar (Nighthawk). He treats her more like a pet, although she is also trained for battle.

Although a part of Clan Cadera, he opted not to have scarification. 

Nadiin Cadera - Mandalorian Mechanic, b. 3632 BBY, Straight

The younger of the twins. She has a similar personality to her brother, although she is not nearly as sensitive. Nadiin is also more aggressive.

Like her brother, she has faced some discrimination. As a child she would sometimes get into fights due to this.

Has scarification typical of Clan Cadera. Her father etched it into her skin when she was a child.

Her favorite band is Beskar, a Mandalorian metal band. She owns many band shirts.

She lost her left leg in an explosion during a battle. She wears a prosthetic leg in it’s place.
