First impressions: You’ve got a lot of dragons neatly organized into a lot of different tabs! It’s going to be difficult for me to pick only 10!

1. 

I love the color abyss, so therefore I love Kahhe! I love how you matched the pink color from skink with their tert color! Also I’m not surprised to find a dragon like this in a tab for dragons on a port. They look very sea themed!

2. 

Apera looks like they came from a black and white film. i love monochrome dragons and orca is such a great color for greyscale and monochrome dragons! She’s beautiful and I love her.

3. 

I couldn’t ignore a tab labeled liminal spaces and I couldn’t just ignore Hypnos. I like his lore, even if it’s tragic. A disease that reacts with a dragon’s own magic is an interesting concept. Especially one that traps a dragon in a dream. That’s some horror movie shit.

4. 

I like how Quasar’s skincent was supposed to be that of a lionfish, but when combined with the flameforger crucible, it looks almost machine-like and metal. The stripes look like ridges that allow the metal to bend. 

5. 

I feel like Serifys’s eyes are staring me down. Again here I go right for another dragon with Abyss. I love the way their opal layers over the edges of their abyss colored wings. I looks like watching the sun rise from underwater. Also it’s always nice to see a kitsune! They’re probably one of my favorite subspecies.

Aster is just lovely to look at! Starmap and constellation are the best gem genes hands down, and smoke goes with them so well! I also like how Aster is wearing one piece of apparel. I like when dragons are not too crowded with apparel. Sometimes one fairly large apparel piece is all you need.

7. 

An abyss mirror with multigaze? That’s literally one of my dream dragons. I see that you have plans to turn her into a veilspun, which is fair. Abyss shell DOES look amazing. But I also really like how she currently looks!

8. 

Percy is a nice and bright boy! Everything about him is blue and I love blue. I love how his eyes perfectly blend into his primary and secondary colors.

9. 

I love Ayano’s branches! They remind me of a cherry blossom tree!

Comments: Decided I needed a second pair of snowy tree dragons (my first is a veilspun pair with flecks tertiary). A while back I saw some koi tert modern breed ones on AH, and obviously I just had to have a pair with that too.

Finally got around to actually buying a pair of dragons to gene up; I was waiting to find a pair I liked the colour ranges of where at least one of them had an opal or koi gene already; I was okay with paying for one gem gene tert for good colour ranges and a passing assay, but not with shelling out for two of them. Thankfully this guy is perfectly fine with his existing genes; the mate I found for him... not so much, as she was born a veilspun so needs a complete genetic overhaul. Doh!

Kuurainen is a Finnish word meaning ‘frosty’ (at least according to google translate).

Comments: So back in the spring I was putting together a new pair of dark primoridal Lycoan dragons (what ended up being Neen and Neep) and prior to Neen being hatched (she’s a product of my first and still favourite Lycaon pair, Zera and Xeno) had sent out a couple PMs checking if various suitable hatchlings I turned up using Dragon Search were available for sale. And one I’d been delighted to trip over was, in fact, a granddaughter of Zera and Xeno. Sadly the lair owner didn’t respond, and judging by the steadily dropping energy levels their lair was abandoned. Then Neen was born, so I forgot about the granddaughter... until yesterday, when the lair owner apparently decided to resume playing FR and sent me an ask, wanting to know if I was still interested in that dragon.

And obviously, I said yes :)

Going with a wide primary colour range and a small range of blacks for secondary/tertiary, with the tertiary genes being ones I haven’t used yet. Already have her mate and most of his genes purchased, just need a few more gem AH sales to have his breed change scroll. He came with the name Polaris, which led to her being named Kochab, as both are stars within the Ursa Minor constellation.
