Character Profile: Zaoka Aloka.

Name: Zaoka Aloka Race: Lalafell, Plainsfolk Sex: Male Occupation: Doctor: Practitioner of Healing Arcanima, Alchemy and Chirurgy (Surgery)

Personality Type (laid back, militant, high strung, etc.): Zaoka can be seen as something of a charmer, he often employs honeyed words when conversing with those he refers to as “bonny lads an’ lasses~”. Something of a people person, He enjoys meeting new people and will happily talk to a complete stranger if it means making a new friend at the end of the day.

What does your character look like?: Standing at above average Lalafellin height. Zaoka possesses the usual rotund build found amongst Lalafell, though he appears to be a touch wider around the thighs. His head is topped with a mass of unkempt hair, while looking relatively clean, gives him the appearance of someone who has only recently gotten out of bed. A belt of freckles can be seen dotted across his soft, round features and his red eyes framed by a pair of silver armed rimless glasses. An ugly scar that spans the length of his neck is kept hidden from the public eye by an assortment of chokers and scarves. An assortment of piercings can be found about his person, with a metallic chin stud, three studs above his brow, two rings on either ear as well as a Qiqirn shaped charm hangs from his right ear, which he believes brings him good luck.  

Zaoka often dresses in comfy casual clothing, eschewing the robes worn by most of his fellow weavers of Aether (Or dresses as he refers to them), or any particularly gaudy looking outfits and will always try to incorporate the colour blue into his outfit.

Favorite Hobby: There are two hobbies favoured by the Lalafellin Doctor. The first being triple triad. To say that he is an enthusiast of the game is something of an understatement. He often employs it as a kind of friendship ritual when meeting new people. Zaoka does not care who wins or who looses, all that matters to him are that both parties enjoy themselves and the bonds of friendship that are to be forged through this ‘noble game’. The second hobby is fishing. Often times Zaoka will head off to a nearby isolated stream and cast a line into it. He finds fishing to be extremely soothing and feels as though it brings him at peace with the world.

Motto they live by: “Live Well, Love Much, Laugh Often.”

Favorite type of Environment: Zaoka will always have a fondness for the seaside. He finds the sound of the tide washing ashore and the call of gulls going to and from the horizon brings him a great deal of calmness. Friends: Zaoka lives to meet new people and make friends. Those counted amongst his friends include; Camerin Gilheart, Ryder Bailey, Vex Redain and Adham Adhad.

Who They Admire: He will always hold those who seek to do good in the world with high regard, though the person who he admires the most, is his mother, a woman of almost limitless warmth and kindness and who’s tenants he strives to live by.

What do they hope to do 10 years from now: Zaoka hopes to have at least settled down with someone, maybe even start a family of his own. Though his has high doubts that he will ever attain that. He especially hopes to have made enough money to set up extra clinics and hire his own staff and possibly expand into areas outside of La Noscea.

Are they single? If not, who is their spouse/partner/life mate?: Zaoka is currently single, though he is of the hopes that he will find someone, he doesn’t consider himself prime relationship material. 

What do they look for in friends?: Those who are not needlessly cruel and bigoted. He is accepting of people from all walks of life, provided that they do not actively seek to do harm others maliciously or operate outside the interests of the Eorzean Alliance.

If they walked into a bar and saw a talking slug, what would their reaction be?: Firstly, he would try and recall exactly how many rolanberry ciders he has had prior to this encounter and determine if it was enough to get him sufficiently stewed. Secondly, regardless of what the answer to the first question is, he would ask the slug if it knows how to play Triple Triad.

Oftentimes out in the field hunting however, the fields his second home practically. ▌ MARITAL STATUS: Single ▌ ALIGNMENT: Neutral Good (?) ▌ DRINK: Light apple cider with a dash of lemon; the bitterness and sweetness balance each other well, undertoned with the taste of alcohol. ▌ FOOD: A well-cooked rare steak with a side of fried spring onions. I like it very much, personally it makes me think that Sini could have looked like this in his military time in the past. He did serve in the Maelstrom for some years, until a certain event made him leave and turn towards religion.

It looks like a portrait of times past, that i can imagine well hanging framed in his room.

Usually red/yellow is not his color, blue is his style. But this here looks really well and red is the maelstrom color after all. ^^
