In all of his years of being a priest who performed exorcisms for anyone who needed it, there wasn't much that freaked out Robert 'Hob' Gadling, or unsettled him. The people attending his sermons were delightful and the joy of the families that he helped made all of so worth it, warming his heart whenever he returned home. Though one odd case changed everything for him, making question all that he knew in the process. On one dark and stormy night, he received a call from Lady Nyx, a wealthy woman known for her cold stare, requiring his services immediately to exorcise her son.

Frowning a bit, having just had woken up, he asked where their house was located at, assuring her that he would do all in his power to save her boy. After a curt 'goodbye' from the woman, who then hung up abruptly, the priest began to gather up his supplies, hoping with his heart that it would be possible and the boy could be saved.

When he arrived, the lady ushered him in, telling him that there was no time to explain anything and kept moving at a fast pace until they arrived at the young man's room, where Dream usually slept in. The ravenette was tied up to his bed, snarling and trashing, spewing demonic words that made Father Hob cross himself, mutter a quick 'Lord, give me strength' before going on with the exorcism, which lasted for about two hours, maybe more, due to how the demon seemed quite determined to not let him go. After it was all over, the young man seemed normal, but quite exhausted after his whole ordeal, smiling at the man of the cloth as he thanked him, before asking in a soft voice if 'he' was gone. Wanting to comfort the lad, Hob took Dream's hand in his, assuring him that yes, the demon was gone, that there was nothing to fear. That he was safe now. Those words, meant to bring comfort, only seemed to make Dream upset, asking the priest to leave, turning his head away and closing his eyes shut. Confused and a bit saddened by the dark-haired man's demeanor, the priest nodded, taking his leave and going back to his car in order to go to bed as well, but when lied in bed, sleep never came. The sad expression on the boy's face, morphing to one of anger at his words, his pouty peony lips, so soft looking, hunted Hob's every thought, making him sigh as he muttered a prayer for the boy and his family, and good health for them, before eventually falling asleep, still not aware of the situation that he had got himself in by taking care of this strange task

From the eyes of an outsider, the Endless family seemed quite well-put together and happy with one another : the children were all well behaved , polite and quite social, save for the third eldest Dream, who was more quiet than his siblings but made up for it with his violin playing. So when the fourth of the Endless siblings suddenly left the town without a trace, not even a goodbye note to his family, it was a shock to everyone and when people came to offer their comfort and support to Lady Nyx, she brushed them off, stating that it wasn't the end of the world, as she still had her precious Dream, who would never do something as foolish as his younger brother did, pulling in her son closer to her as she smiled to the concerned guest. The comment had visibly troubled the young man, making his bottom lip quiver as he discreetly pulled away from his mother, asking to be excused from the gathering as he was feeling unwell. Not pleased by the ravenette's attitude but wanting to keep up appearances, she dismissed him, internally boiling as she knew what her son was actually going to do when he'd be in his room. Dream had always been interested in the occult and the supernatural, finding demons quite fascinating, to the point of trying to summon a demon in his room, when his family where away for a long vacation, which had meant that he had the place to himself for a while.

To his delight, the summoning worked, better than he had hoped and out of this he made himself a wonderful friend : a demon who feasted on the hearts of the damned, named Hobo Heart.

The days following Hobo Heart's appearance in his life were the best for Dream, full of laughter and fun, for despite the demon's grim nature, the creature had a wicked sense of humor, participating in the lad's interests and hobbies with glee. But that feeling ended when his family came back home, forcing Dream to revert to his usual self, keeping his new friend in the dark in order to avoid his mother's ire. Though despite his best efforts to stay in her good graces, her already short patience reached a fever pitch and she...snapped. Calling him an ungrateful brat that couldn't appreciate all that they did for him, all the private lessons, and how he was going to forever be alone with how unapproachable he was. At that moment, the young-man felt rage, a hot burning one and next thing that he knew, he felt as if he was no longer himself, blacking out in the midst of the fight and when he came to, his mother was staring at him in horror, visibly frightened by something that he didn't understand. That was when he heard Hobo Heart's voice in his head, telling him that it had to be done, that she was hurting him, before softly muttering to him that no one would ever hurt him ever again.

Eversince that incident, the skull-faced demon had remained nestled deep in Dream's body, providing him with comfort whenever the world outside hurt him, warming him and bringing a smile out of him and when his brother had left the family manor, Dream cried all of his hurt in the comforting embrace of the hellish creature, who held him gently while harboring a grim expression on his face, having an inkling of an idea as to why the red-head went off like that. While Dream started to feel better, thanks to his friend, his mother on the other end did not see it as a good thing : the demon was corrupting her precious boy, turning him into something that he was not. She knew that she had to do something so one night, during a bad storm, she tied her son up to the bed, yelling at the demon that made it's home in her son's body that he wouldn't have him, before calling Father Hob, the best exorcist in town.

When the ordeal was over, Lady Nyx was quite pleased with herself, convinced that she had her son back, but Dream was distraught, screaming that she had taken away his only friend, crying himself to sleep after making sure that Hob was gone and just as the tears dried, he heard a familiar voice next to his ear, whispering 'Did you really think that he could rid of me that easily?', waking him quickly to hug his demon tight, begging him to never let him go. Not wanting to sleep alone, Dream remained in Hobo Heart's arms for the rest of the night, unable to see the smile on the demon's face as he considered giving someone a special visit

this already got me in a chokehold, at this point I might keep rambling away the entire day

Just a little heads-up, 'Show Me That You're Willing To Burn' first chapter will be hot. steamy, even, because of some tail-teasing-under the table action later on. Might be a long one too if I'm lucky but hey, journey before destination :3 So have this little thing Hob : *daydreaming as Dream slurps his milkshake, watching his pink lips wrapping around the straw* Hobo Heart : *grinning as his tail goes up the priest's lap, teasing him* Hob : *red as hell, screaming internally the whole time while trying to be normal, watching helplessly as the demon turns up the heat*

Out of all the demons residing in the deepest pits of Hell, the one that many hellish fiend would prefer to not cross as to not get in a fight with was Hobo Heart, known both for his insatiable appetite for hearts and horrific temper, for making him angry resulted in most of them with their skin turned inside out, or cicadas in their ears if he felt like torturing them for several days. So because of his reputation, it was rather odd how he seemed quite popular with mortals, oftentimes being summoned four times in one day, returning to Hell afterwards with a very pleased expression before resuming his torture of the damned. For despite his hellish temper, the skull-faced demon loved the attention of others, sought out touches and pleasures...not from his fellow fiends, however.

Not from a lack of trying, he simply preferred those with a warm beating heart, not the eternally burning ones of those who worked alongside them and after his last dating attempt with Corinthian, a demon with with an obsession with eyes that started to get on his nerves with his attempts at getting all of his attention, he decided to focus his attentions elsewhere. When he was summoned once again, this time in the dark room of a raven-haired young man, with the most beautiful eyes that he ever saw, peony-lips parted in shock and awe as he looked at the demon with reverence, Hobo Heart knew at that moment that any other mortal who wished to summon him would just have to wait, for he planned to give all of his time to Dream. During their alone time together, the demon spent hours on end watching Dream play the violin, swaying his head to the music while a pleased hum left his dual-colored lips, the sight bringing a chuckle out of the ravenette, though abruptly stopped by the latter, ashamed by the sound he made.

Turning his head away, the young-man turned his head away, apologizing for the ugly sound, mentally-kicking himself for forgetting his mother's teachings, but a gentle hand brushed a few strands of his hair away, making him look in shock as Hobo Heart softly encouraged him to let out that sound in his presence more often, for it was a nice change from the sounds back home. Was the demon perhaps going soft? Loosing his evil touch? Maybe in some odd way, caring for Dream like this was making him more tender, but that also in a way made him more dangerous, for there was no telling of how his wrath would be if someone hurt the Goth. Having had known enough about Nyx from Dream's description of her, he carefully made himself scarce, watching all of them from afar, eyes narrowed in rage at the harsh words and insults spat in the ravenette's direction, followed by Desire's teases and spiteful encouragement while the others tried to settle the mood as best as they could, in the hopes of keeping all of them together, united. Though despite the eldest siblings' efforts, tensions seemed to have reached a fever pitch, for their brother Destruction, whom they all called Ollie in private, away from their mother, had disappeared in the middle of the night, without as much as a goodbye. While they all tried to keep a brave face during one of their mother's usual gatherings, Dream had difficulty paying attention to his surroundings, seemingly stuck in a daze, which was then broken by his mother's voice, brushing away all the concerns, as if Destruction was nothing but a discarded, broken toy, no longer a son in her eyes. Even her touch felt as cold and unfeeling as her words, making him want to avoid her at all costs so under the guise of feeling ill, he asked to be excused and when it was granted he thanked her, giving a polite nod before going to his room as fast as he could, trying to keep his breaths even until, after closing the door behind him, his knees crumpled underneath him, dropping him onto the cold floor as tears flooded his vision, which were gently wiped away by the dark-bony hand of his friend, who then pulled him in his arms, letting him cry of all his hurt away, all while assuring that he wouldn't be going anywhere. After his little altercation with Nyx, through Dream, Hobo Heart was confident that the horrible woman wouldn't dare to utter a single word against the lad, out of fear that he would take over once again, but the lady was far more cunning than he did thought her to be, because one minute her son was peacefully sleeping in bed, the next he was tied up to the bedpost by the wrist and then a priest walked in, crossing him quickly while muttering a prayer that made Hobo Heart bark out a bone-chilling laugh through his host's mouth, making the brown-eyed priest clutch his rosary hard...before throwing holy water right in the boy's face, making both of them scream as the painfully long exorcism began. Finding himself sprawled on the bedroom soon after, body aching all over, Hobo Heart glared at Father Hob from the bed, about to yell at him that he was still very much there, until he stopped, a devilish grin appearing on his face as he saw the look in the priest's eyes when he saw Dream's tired face, the way he gulped silently, muttering another prayer when he was dismissed, clearly feeling ashamed of his impure thoughts, all of which excited the demon immensely. Wasting no time, he consoled the tired Goth lad, reassuring him that while Hob only removed him from his body, he had no intent on leaving him behind, caressing his hair gently until he was sure that he was asleep, before casually stopping by the priest's place, lying down sultrily in the man's couch, patiently waiting for his return so that he could have a heart-to-heart conversation with him and, if he's lucky, a little taste

Since my newest WIP, that I didn't start writing just yet (I will do it very soon) has taken over my brain, I decided to draw art of my newest fic 'Show Me That You're Willing To Burn', staring Priest! Hob so without further ado,here are the boys!

Priest! Hob is blushing a lot because of the cute Goth standing by his side, in the outfit that he'll be wearing once they have a more proper meeting away from prying eyes (he has an eyebrow piercing, snake bites, nose-piercing, a belly-button-piercing, and he has his nipples pierced :3), but the other reason why our lovely priest is so red is due to the fact that Dream's demon Hobo Heart is not far from them, clearly hoping to get a quick taste of Priest! Hob when he gets a chance...which he will have, if he's lucky, hehehe
