My leg was bugging me so I came to my sofa to snuggle with the Gellies. I decided to look through the #PAWesome @shellybeckphotography from our #WeddingPortraits on the Faust Street Brigde and I had a realization. Some of you may know the story others may just see me hashtag it a lot. A girl once taught me to never stop to #SeekTheGoodThingsInLife. Another girl saved Einstein's by preforming a simple glucose check. Another woman diagnosed and treated him as one of her own. And yet another woman took the time to explain the surgical options. All these women gave me a gift I can never repay. In the end they gave him six months. That was last November. I just realized it has been ten months to the date since his diagnosis. I am indebted to all these women and extremely thankful Shelly Beck was able to capture this moment, which I demanded be taken, even in the Texas heat. (He got lots of tum tum rubs and water.) I look at this photo and I know no matter what bridges I may cross in the future with or without him. He will always be by my side and I could not have found a more loving, madly devoted or amazing #FURparent than @absolutely_zero to hold my hand on this journey. To the rest of our #PRiDALparty, whom over a decade have seen my little Einstein grow up and go through everything with me a twenty-something year old could go through. You all know how much this little pup pup means to me. Even if he looks like a little Frankenstein or Skuttle from time-to-time, I have a #pirate to solve it. My friends and I have lost family and pets to disease. Some may judge me for putting family and pets in the same category, but it is okay you don't really know me as well as you may think. Plus I have Giselle to judge me for you. In taking the time to treasure every moment I have had and will have I understand better what the girl meant in seeking the good things in life. She is the toughest fighter I have know and I can't stop but think she is helping him stay here for me as long as he can.
