•1.13: Have You Brought Me Little Cakes?

•1.07: The Mayakovsky’s Circumstance

#i wasn’t going to put rewatch content here just on Twitter but I felt like making this lmao #s rewatches tm #also not going to explain. I don’t dislike any episode this season (or in 2 and 3) overall #the lower ranked ones just have pieces I find more frustrating or are less engaging #but consistently a ratio of things that remain delightful to me which is nice #and again it holds up pretty well even though there are obviously things I’m more critical of now #it pales in comparison to 2&3 for sure why I don’t revisit it much. but still a good season #(also it’s so funny that of my absolute favorite shows of which there are six this is the only one that’s overall much better at #premieres than finales. with the others it’s inevitably the reverse lol)#s speaks #1.09 sort of deserves to fail on principle for tone deaf storyline about CSA in the same ep as killing a disabled black lesbian to be poetic #but I am weak for Julia and Kira scenes so it gets a pass I’m a big hypocrite.#the magicians
