Gender or Pregnancy Reveal Idea

My Mini Maternity Sessions can be fun way to announce the gender of your baby, or even the pregnancy itself!

These are short and simple sessions that offer the chance to create images with a single outfit and backdrop but any props that you’d like to include. Elegant Maternity Photo Shoot

This is a beautiful example of a very elegant mum-to-be who visited the studio recently. She brought along her own dress for the shoot (I wish this was in my collection though!) and we just kept things simple.

We included pictures with her partner and her daughter, plus some of her on her own.  A great gallery of images to celebrate all aspects of her pregnancy and her family before the newest arrival makes an appearance.Maternity photography at my studio is a very flexible affair, you can create any style of images that you’d like. Maternity Dresses - White Lace

This image features on of my most popular maternity dresses – the white lace open front dress.

You’ll be able to choose two dresses from my range to borrow at your session and this is a very flattering choice. It’s also a great way to show off your bump even if you don’t want to go bare as we can shoot through it in this demi-silhouette style.It’s a style that really seems to suit everyone, it has elasticated sleeves and neckline so it’s comfortable and it works great against light or dark backdrops. Maternity Photography - Keeping it Simple

It’s strange how types of sessions come in streaks at the studio and it’s been a very bumpy few weeks for me in the best possible way, with lots of lovely parents-in-waiting coming to visit.

Maternity Photography - Beautiful in Blue

This mum-to-be was certainly beautiful in blue at her recent maternity photo shoot at my studio.

I have a range of maternity dresses that are available for you to borrow when you come to visit. They are all designed specifically for photo shoots and so they photograph beautifully whilst not having much practical value in day to day life (most of them are super long!) so you can add something that you wouldn’t bother to purchase for yourself to use.You’l be able to pick two to include in your pregnancy photo shoot if you’d like to (they’re not obligatory of course) and combine them with your own outfits to give you great variety in your finished image gallery.  This blue number is also available in black and is soft, long and just super flattering on every body shape! When you visit for a maternity photo shoot, you’ll be able to select from my range of photographic maternity dresses to include in your session if you’d like to.

They are all designed to photography beautifully of course but there are also options according to how much bare skin you’d like to show. The dress in the photograph above does open at the front to reveal the bump if that’s what you’d like to do but we also have the option of photographing it closed in a kind of demi silhouette style that still showcases your bump beautifully! Timeless Elegance at a Maternity Photo Shoot

Maternity photo shoots can be whatever you want them to be and you don’t need to pick any one particular style as we have plenty of studio time to mix and match.

In the case of this beautiful mum-to-be, she chose to borrow a couple of my maternity dresses to include along with her own outfits and this is one of them – the long black dress (you can’t see the bottom of it in this picture obviously but trust me, it is very long and flowing).  It is one of the prettiest ones I think, and it suits everyone that has worn it with it’s flattering style.  It’s a beautiful elegant option that showcases your bump without having to bare any skin so it’s perfect if that’s not what you want to do.  Or if you just feel fancy… Read the full article

Maternity Photo Shoot with your Partner in Sussex

There’s always time to include your partner in your maternity photo shoot – after all it’s an adventure you’re about to embark upon together!

Of course, the person with the bump is pretty much the star of the show so you can choose to be photographed alone, with your partner and any children you already have together or just mix and match between all of those groups to give you the maximum amount of images that celebrate your pregnancy and temporary shape!There’s a misconception about maternity photography that you have to strip off at least to your underwear if you are having a photo shoot.  That’s simply not the case.  You can if you want to of course, but if you’d rather keep fully dressed then that’s fine too.  My job at your maternity photo shoot is to give you exactly the memories that you want not to crowbar you into what I’d like to do.  If you’re staying dressed, I’d recommend bringing along an outfit change so you have the chance to really showcase your bump.
