Just wanted to say that there's no need to apologize for a post being too long. It's your blog, people who do not want to read them, they won't. You do you! We the ones that want to read it, will.

Now, my opinions about the episode, (that you didn't ask, but I have nobody to talk to about it with lol, so I'll send it here.)

To answer your question about JK not sleeping since NY.

Episode 3 day is September 26th, JK returned from NY on September 25th, (Thanks to other people's blog for that info lol 😅) so I guess he was talking about his recent trip, especially because JM asked him right after if he didn't sleep on the plane.

In my opinion, when I saw JK calling it a shark and JM a whale. While watching that, I also remember seeing that he mentioned in the live that it was a whale. I just thought that he just wanted to call it what JM wanted to call it. I found it cute, I don't think it is a translation problem as Shark and Whale are said and written very differently in Korean.

Shark: 상어 (sang-eo)

Whale: 고래 (golae)

I don't remember what he said in the live, but I am almost sure he said whale.

But that might be a biased option that he just wanted to go with JM point of view.

When I saw JK going to the other bed, I found it funny. I don't know if this is a Mandela effect because there is no way I can track this back to where I saw it, but I only remember it because I am the same way and I remember relating to JK with that. I can't for the life of me, sleep with no blanket on. Even in the hottest weather, I have to have the thinest fabric covering me. And I swear I heard JK saying something about that once.

So when I saw that he moved to the 3rd bed I was like "yeap!" Because TH was all covered and those two were not because they were sleeping on top of the cover. In the fast-forward, before JK disappears from the bed, he is using his phone and moves his head to see JM. I think he moved to the other bed because he was using his phone and he needed the blanket, he gets cold easily I noticed, and in the fast forward he in under the covers, I can see his feet moving under it. 😅 So I laughed because that's something I do often, I will literally move to another bed if I don't want to wake the other person up. And when it comes to a blanket, if I don't have an option, then I'm waking anyone next to me up, to fix the damn blanket and cover myself properly, I ain't sacrificing no comfortability for no one. 😅

One thing on your post and other people's post I've seen are the comments of "If JM and JK wouldn't have been okay with TH there, then they wouldn't have allowed him there"

I respectfully disagree with that. And not because I don't like TH. I don't mind him or any other member for that matter. I actually thought it would have been cool to have RM be in the restaurant as well. He seems like someone that enjoys chill moments like that.

But I do think that even if they didn't want TH there, they would have still allowed him to go, especially under the circumstances they were in.

First, I think about how JM and JK are as people. (The idea I have of them as people as I don't know them.)

They love TH, and they are very mindful of people's feelings, especially JM. They seems to me, that they don't like hurting the members' feelings even if that means they are not totally okay with something they would still do it or allow it if it's not that serious. (Like for example, YG saying he doesn't like fishing, but does it because Jin likes it) listen, I've done things I don't enjoy myself, just because someone else I am with does. Sometimes, it gets boring/difficult, but because you like seeing how happy the other person feels, you just do it/allow it. Sometimes, that's not a good trait, but it's what it is. People like us exist.

So going with the fact that TH insisted or was very adamant according to JK depending on the translation you want to go with, and if we go by the definition of those words, it means that they or one of them said not, but TH did not want to take a no for an answer. Plus, they were soon to enlist, so that adds to the fact that they no longer share as much time together due to their current life schedule, and this was a nice get-together before enlistment.

So, with all of that in mind, I can see them not being okay with TH inviting himself, but allowing it due to the circumstances. Which at the end of the day is fine, they are having fun. But the fact that in the show we have seen how many times they have mentioned to TH that he is a guess, and/or have mentioned between them that he is a guess, clarifies that thought for me.

And not because he is a literal guess, but is because within the context of when and how they have said it. When things were meant for two, they make the remarks of him being a guess. It's very telling.

I am one of those who believe that JM has a very high emotional intelligence. And I do as well, so in this case I relate to him, (yes, I know I am not him, but I'm just going with the emotional intelligence feeling and how that makes people like us act and feel) I've been in kinda similar situations, in which I have gone out with people that invite other people in, and when I get ask if it is okay, I would say yes, even though, I don't want to and I don't feel like it.

And yes, in this case is different because they do love TH and he is family, but depending on the situation, that can happen even with a mom that wnats to be part of something and you don't want to say not. So what I am saying is that we would say yes to things just to not hurt other people's feelings, or make them feel uncomfortable, or us being uncomfortable because we feel we made the situation uncomfortable. Having high emotional intelligence comes with side effects. One of them is we are over thinkers, at least JM and I are, so I can see JM feeling guilty the whole time he would be in Juju island because TH wanted to go and he didn't allowed it. I wouldn't say JK as well, because he seems to me that he definitely would have been fine with saying no to TH just because of the way I've seen him be so passive aggressive about it, that could certainly just be the way he is to TH, but nonetheless, is still passive aggression. Now, I feel like it if wouldn't been J-Hope for example, he would feel guilty 🤣

So if I have allowed that scenario with people I don't even have an emotional connection with, I can see, JM and JK doing the same with TH that is family to them.

Plus, in my humble observation, and personal opinion, TH seems to me like he is the type of person to not take a no for an answer, and have things go his way, and if not, he hold grudges. So with that in mind, I can definitely see JK and JM, just letting it be and making the best of the situation, even if they just wanted to be by themselves, but when they were talking about RM not being there and JM told TH that the trip was for them two only and they let TH in, and TH said he felt that.

That part let me know that my opinion is right in my perspective, (not anyone else's, everyone have their own) so although, I disagree with that thought, I respect those that think that way. At the end of the day, none of us know the facts. We are just letting our opinions be known, some will agree, some won't.

First of all, I want to say that I’m glad you all feel comfortable enough to send me ASKs that are just as long as the posts I write. I see it as a sign that you get me—you’re my people. Not sure if you follow, but I’d like to think that, regardless, you see my blog as a place where you can say whatever you want. It’s not that we talk a lot; it’s that we’ve got a lot to say.

Now, I don’t want to make this even longer, but I do want to comment on a few things you mentioned.

Yes, after I made that post, I saw tweets confirming that Jungkook was in New York a few days before and that he actually landed in Seoul a day before they travelled to Jeju. This doesn’t change the fact that it’s interesting that Jungkook confirmed with Jimin that he hadn’t slept well since New York and that Jimin added he hadn’t slept on the plane either.

Yes, Jungkook said it was a whale, and it wasn’t during a live per se but during a listening party. ARMY in the comments was saying it was a fish, and he said no, it was a whale, and that he didn’t draw it alone—Jimin had helped too. So, in the end, Jungkook accepted Jimin’s interpretation, hahaha.

Oh, I don’t remember anything about Jungkook saying that, but if it’s not a Mandela effect, I’m sure someone else can confirm it.

Anon, I get your point about Jimin and Jungkook being good sports and letting Tae join the trip and the show, even if they didn’t want to, but seeing it that way makes Jimin and Jungkook look like pushovers. Like people who others take advantage of because they’re nice or easy-going. And I don’t want to see them like that. I want to believe they can say NO to something if they don’t like it, don’t agree with it, or aren’t comfortable with someone. But we can agree to disagree.
