they’re getting on my ass to RSVP to the company party in two months and my partner’s not gonna be able to come and I just really really don’t wanna go without them, I have no desire to go to a fancy upper class party all alone with hundreds of people richer than me and older than me who’ve spent their entire lives caring about financial services and care about nothing else but I KNOW if I say I can’t go they’re gonna get on my ass for the next two months about it too cause I’m a newhire and all anyone talks about is this party and how great it is and blah blah blah blah
