PREFERRED ROLEPLAY TYPE: I greatly prefer para/novella. I like delving into a character's mind and thought process. I know I write a LOT of inner monologue for my muses as well, I actually STRUGGLE with short replies, so when someone gives me a single para or line... it's really difficult for me to match that short length, but it's also something that I don't really vibe with. I greatly prefer longer replies. I want to delve into characters and see how they react, I want to learn all of those little things about your muses as well. I'm a sucker for character development. I'm also a fan of the nitty gritty.

PET PEEVES & DEALBREAKERS: One line responses. Please, for the love of god... give me something to work with. It's a quick way for me to show disinterest and likely not really reach out to write with unless it's something that I am REALLY enjoying for small snippets. But please, I greatly prefer longer replies. Short ones also make me feel like you're just not interested in what my characters have to say :/ Please read my rules, whilst I know we can't remember EVERYONE'S rules (seriously, I forget as well!), it is obvious when people don't. PLOTS OR MEMES: I like both and am fine with both. Whilst I LOVE plotting and getting to know muses and getting an idea of where we can go, I also understand that sometimes our brains are just too tired from real life and memes can be something simpler and quicker. I think both of them are very good for very different reasons, which I'm fine with both. By all means, memes are EXCELLENT ice breakers imo, and then we can always plot something once we've established a little starter. :)

BEST TIME TO WRITE: I get a lot more done when I'm writing in the mornings. Obviously due to work, I am tired in the evenings, so I get very little done (Haarlep has certainly reawakened my muse tho I'm shocked at how much I've been writing on my work nights lol). I mostly write on Fridays as it's the only day I have to myself, so I try and churn out as many replies as I can, but once it hits the afternoon, I'm pooped lol. So yeah, mornings are definitely best!

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES: Haarlep? Absolutely not. Haarlep caught me by utter surprise when it came to being a muse of mine. I saw him once, had a little laugh, and suddenly he wouldn't leave my mind, and then I just... had the persistent urge to write them. I'm very happy that he did come to me, though, as he's really been helpful in making me come back to RP on a more regular basis and I've had such a good time exploring him. I hate to say this but tbh a majority of my friends are single and aren't really interested in anyone 😅

I guess in terms of what their love interests might be like if they had one I would say one of my best friends would like someone who can keep up with her socially so like going out to clubs and parties occasionally but also being okay just staying home and relaxing. I feel like she stretches herself pretty thin a lot so being with someone who is content slowing things down a bit sometimes I think would be very important.

We have the same ult bias (Jungkook as you could probably tell from my writing lol) and we both love how endearing and sweet he can be but also how genuinely hilarious he is and many many more of his personality traits (and also the fact that he's insanely attractive and talented ofc but those are just added bonuses lol)

Like going out on dates and doing things together not saying that they have to be extravagant or anything but yeah just cheesy dates like an amusement park or an arcade. Stuff like that. My goodness your questions are very difficult to answer haha but my top three groups would definetly be BTS, TXT and Got7 (although I don't really listen to Got7 anymore since they're not active as a group atm 🥲 but they were the first group that got me into kpop)

For her in terms of who her romantic interest would be in each group well I guess I should tell you her biases first. Jungkook from BTS, Yeonjun from TXT and tbh I don't know who her Got7 bias is but if I had to take a guess it would probably be JayB but don't quote me on that one lol

I would say that Hobi might match her energy a little bit more than Jungkook (Hobi is her bias wrecker) since Hobi (from a fan's perspective) seems like a person who can definetly keep up with her socially since she loves to go dancing and loves night life and I feel like Hobi thrives in that element and the fact that he's funny would definetly be something she would love.

Yeonjun again seems like a person who is very outgoing when he feels he can let his guard down and seems like a social butterfly and loves to party and have fun (again from a fan's perspective but I have no clue if he's actually like that)

And Got7 I might say she'd be interested in someone like Yugyeom since again he seems outgoing and funny once he feels like he can relax, dance have fun.

For me in BTS I would say (because I'm biased but also believe it) my love interest based off of what I said would definetly be Jungkook. I mean man's is so freaking introverted it's hilarious. Like he said that one time he didn't leave his house for like seven days and I've definetly been there and done that before so I get it. He's also really funny, kind and considerate but knows how to have fun so yeah I feel like we can match each other's energy.

For my love interest in TXT I might say Soobin? He seems a lot more reserved than the other members and maybe a little shy at time (I'm not like super into TXT but that's the vibe he gives off from a casual fan's perspective lol) and I feel like because of that if we were in like a party/club setting (which I'm hardly ever in) I might step up and be more outgoing like talking to people and introducing him into the conversation so yeah I would think that we would compliment each other like that but it could be the opposite like he might step up and be more social and try to bring me into the conversation so basically we would both make sure that we both have fun no matter what

In Got7 I would say Mark does match my energy but maybe being with someone who is a little bit more outgoing like Jinyoung would be fun! Like something about this man that I love is that he has an incredible resting bitch face and just can't help but judge people but like silently but he also seems like a respectful guy. I wouldn't say he's shy but it seems like he doesn't go out of his way to be social with people but can be when in a social environment.

How could a guy get involved in helping out with the wiki? I've never done it before and I don't think I'd necessarily be any good at writing the content (I'm too biased and I know it) but I love doing repetitive organisational stuff like linking pages together and keeping an eye on formatting and stuff.

We all started somewhere! The nicest thing about wiki work is that every little bit helps (and nothing is ever catastrophic, the rollback and page history features are a godsend, and I have a bot set up in a private server to give me live updates for the wiki). Even if you don't think you'd be great at writing, someone else could come along and spiff up the stuff you wrote, edit it down, change your wording, etc. In many cases, it's better to have something on a page than nothing at all, even if you don't feel it's adequate. Trust me when I say that starting from scratch is worse for someone like me, especially when the subject has fifteen seasons you're now faced with recapping because at some point someone decided Dennis' page should be full of jotnotes detailing his sexual exploits instead of an actual per-episode or even per-season summary.

If you think you're biased, stick to facts, cite your sources, and don't extrapolate a ton; it helps to work on pages you don't have any particularly strong feelings about too (though this isn't always the most motivating, it might still be a good place to start out).

I'm going to work on writing up a style guide for the wiki, probably something similar to the one I wrote for the Disco Elysium wiki, but until then, small edits and just doing what you can (fixing spelling errors, watching for consistency - US English on the Sunny wiki is a bit of a struggle for me because I'm Canadian, I slip up - with grammar and regional spelling), and if you're familiar with how interwiki links should be handled (something like... [[Dennis Reynolds]] or [[Deandra Reynolds|Dee Reynolds]] or ''[[It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia]]'', only first mention on a page should be linked, first mention should be the full name/title, etc.) my suggestion is just going to the topnav and hitting "random page" and seeing if you hit on a page with a glaring problem that you can tackle.

Right now, most pages have lazy and unnecessary templates like this: {{Dennis}}, {{S8}} that I'm working on getting rid of and replacing with the standard links: [[Dennis Reynolds|Dennis]], [[Season 8]], so if you're up for the task, that might be an easy place to start, and should also serve to get you acclimated to the wiki and the editor (speaking of, I'd suggest using the actual source editor - not the VisualEditor or the VisualEditor - source mode, but the actual Source editor - which can be found in My Preferences > Editing.)

i'm here with a little update about jaerim, as well as a plot call for this month's event, which jaerim will be hosting! if we haven't already plotted or if you'd like to plot for the event, just hit me up! if you'd like to do an event thread on top of our ongoing threads, i'll be down to do a shorter thread for the event! i'm available on both ims and discord, whichever you prefer.

first things first, jaerim has now taken on the moneybags skeleton which does not change much (or anything, really). to begin with, the gossipgate scandal did not affect him very much as his family is very influential (especially in the arts) so his career was already laid out for him. however, i did flesh out some details about his family that might come up in some threads:

his family is one of, if not the most, influential families in the arts; basically old money with a long lineage of artists (and other art related careers)

they also think they are superior to others because they are "cultured" on top of their wealth

it was always a career in the arts or risk being the black sheep of the family

every child born in the seo family would be sent for art classes, it is as important as learning the korean language

his family is very image-focused, often portraying themselves to be polished and sophisticated, people with refined tastes

naturally, they do not tolerate scandals that could potentially damper their image

they paid off media outlets to keep jaerim's name out of the gossipgate news so while you could kind of make him out in the video, there is no real confirmation of him being in it

they were also the ones that had insisted his then girlfriend have the abortion (see: his biggest gossip girl scandal)

he never had issues with college acceptances because his family name guarantees him a spot in any art program (probably also due to nepotism because he has relatives who are art professors)

while his parents are okay with jaerim dating around, they are incredibly picky when it comes to his potential marriage partner (they do not have to be in the arts themselves, but they would have to be from an influential family)

now, onto the event, which is held at his family's museum! it's basically the opening of a new gallery, with an exhibition curated by jaerim. in line with that, jaerim would display a painting of his, revealed for the first time at the event. the painting would be of a woman, rumoured to be inspired by one of his exes or past love interests/crushes, though her identity is unknown. this is just a brief idea, in need of more plotting. just thought it would be fun to add a bit of drama! with that said, here are some plot ideas i came up with:

maybe your muse could be the subject of his painting and she doesn't know it (or she could know, if she had modelled for him), maybe it could be a nude painting (with or without her consent), anything juicy — nothing's set in stone yet so i'm open to anything!

or your muse (or most people) thought the painting was of her, when it in fact, wasn't

maybe your muse sends a tip in to gg that the painting is of them, even though it wasn't, or your muse knows the painting is of them and intentionally sent it in to gg so everyone else would know too

jaerim's date for the event; seeing as this would be a very important (and public) event for his family, they would expect him to go with someone who is also from an influential family (does not have to be a romantic interest, could be someone that his family thinks is good for him)

or he could just go against his family's wishes and bring someone he wants to bring (because he likes them, or it could even be platonic, like they're just a good friend who could ground him when he's stressed, which he will be at this event)

he could bring you on a private tour of the gallery, either before its opening or after, to beat the crowds. it would be quiet and empty so it could be romantic! he might tell you cheesy things like you're prettier than the artworks or steal a kiss behind some fancy installation with a sign that says "do not touch the art"

jaerim could've auctioned his painting and it was sold to you (for whatever reason — the painting could be of you, or it wasn't of you and you wanted it destroyed, or you just thought it would be funny to see his reaction, or you just liked it and had more money than everyone else lol) and he personally hands it to you after the auction

both of you dislike each other but the media and press are watching so you put on a show just for them, even go as far as to take a chummy picture together

you had wine spilled on you at the refreshment party and jaerim takes you back to the museum to get cleaned or changed (maybe all he has is another set of his own clothes and you walk out of the changing room in his shirt... looking a little scandalous...)

you meet jaerim for the first time at the event; maybe you were introduced to each other during the refreshment party, or you meet on one of the tours around the new gallery. doesn't have to be anything complicated, could just be a first meeting for our muses who do not have pre-existing connections!

Ooooh can we hear your thoughts and opinions on Miss Bustier, her akuma, and Zombizou’s plot after your fresh rewatch of the episode? >:3c

HoKAY so I held onto this one because I still needed to do my "pause every three seconds to write notes and make dumb quips in the discord chat" rewatch, but NOW!

There is so much ugh in this episode and some of it might sound familiar because I've salted on Bustier before, but here we go, mostly chronologically. These will be both petty and detailed:

Okay I literally had to ask the French Discord if Mylene's gift is a translation error:

It is not. That's what her gift is. I've only heard of people keeping a lock of their LOVER'S hair or that of someone who's passed away. But sure, what a totally normal thing to gift your teacher.

Most of Bustier's approach to things - having fighting students hug it out, quiet time, daily affirmations - could probably work if the cast was elementary school age. Like, really young elementary school age. Like, still learning what empathy is young elementary school age. Like, literally teaching someone "hey it hurts when you're hit, right? So that means it hurts other people when you hit them, right? So you shouldn't hit them because you know it hurts to be hit" young elementary school age.

BUT AS 14 YEAR OLDS THIS COMES ACROSS AS REALLY INFANTILIZING AND TOO LITTLE TOO LATE.

They forgot Chloe's sunglasses in the "Morning Compliment" Scene and it's like she's missing her tiara, it's so wrong. Also she's supposed to be boredly looking at her phone while Rose is talking but her sight line is off:

Sabrina and Nino's Super Different from Season 1 Voice Actors really threw me in this episode, I don't know why specifically this time it did but it did. Maybe because in this episode it feels more like Sabrina's reading off her lines and maybe she's just getting comfortable and maybe Nino's dropped the "cool/surfer guy" affect on accident?

Speaking of Sabrina, me and my sister noted that even she managed to get something for Bustier which led us on a side tangent - why didn't Chloe spend some of her time ordering Bustier something? In "Dark Cupid" she orders a 24-carot Gold Frame for her poster on the walk home and by the time she arrives at the hotel, it's there! You're trying to tell me if she really wanted to she couldn't have had something express delivered for Bustier? Oh what am I saying, that would require Chloe to use her vast resources on someone ELSE and we can't have that!

Point being, despite having at least half the school day (the montage shows them having Chemistry, Lunch, Art, and Dodgeball before Bustier's class), Chloe spent more energy on sabotaging Marinette's gift instead of just easing her own guilt by buying a gift herself. In case anyone thought this episode showed Chloe in a GOOD light.

The thinner the brow, the worse the squiggles. This lighting really highlights her scary thin nose bridge and NOT in a good way

It's not as obvious on the small scale, but her eyes have a purple ring around them, her eye lashes are a blue/grey color, and her pupil is TINY, but I prefer that to not HAVING a pupil.

I appreciate the class getting mad on Marinette's behalf but I wish they'd kept their insults to facts - instead of saying she caused half the akumas in Paris or that she's worse than Hawkmoth, stick to the fact she's a bully who hates seeing other people happy. You know, things Bustier can't write off because they're true.

Though it's very telling that this Chloe's face as they call her "worse than Hawkmoth":

She feels no remorse over not JUST ruining Marinette's gift to Bustier, but ruining something that was MEANT for Bustier! But given how Bustier has the AUDACITY to praise Chloe and give her credit, it's no WONDER where Chloe gets her delusional ideas that everyone likes her or should be thanking her when she acts despicable!

But that's no surprise since that's the expected outcome from Bustier's enabling philosophy of "forgive and forget despite the other person truly wronging you in multiple ways, suffering no repercussions, and in fact are getting kudos for behaving poorly on top of never repenting for what they did." Why WOULD Chloe do better when there's no incentive to?!

The only way that Bustier's advice to Marinette to "let go of her anger and forgive Chloe" is if in the meantime, Bustier is punishing Chloe for what she did. Otherwise, this is letting Chloe get away scot-free to vandalize again. What good does that do anyone, including Chloe? What does Bustier think is going to happen when Chloe does the same thing in high school or as an adult but the other person presses charges instead of "forgiving her and letting go of their anger?" She's setting up Chloe for failure, on top of failing Marinette by teaching her that her feelings don't matter and that having negative emotions is shameful.

Because that is Bustier's intent. That feeling negative emotions is something to be ashamed of. When she's deakumatized, she's distraught over "giving in to her negative emotions" and says that "I'm terrible" for doing so. So I guess Bustier thinks her entire class is terrible because they've all been akumatized, good to know.

That's why her "good deeds" are forcing fighting students to hug it out. That's why she makes her students give each other "compliments" but doesn't actually care what the compliments are (since she's satisfied with Chloe's "Rose, today you seem less...annoying." compliment). That's why she'd rather convince Marinette to ignore that Chloe defaced her gift with malicious intent so that Chloe can keep gloating and getting credit - because confronting Chloe would make her feel a "negative emotion" and it's easier to convince Marinette to back down. They're just empty gestures to keep a facade of PoSiTivItY without actually getting to the root of what causes these negative emotions.

If my teacher ever dropped to their knees like this to talk to me over the age of 10, I would be absolutely feral. Get up and talk to me like an equal deserving of respect, not a fucking toddler.

Gotta love that Bustier's defense to being told "Chloe is the meanest person I've ever known" is "oh someone in Paris must be worse than Chloe." Like, oh yeah? Who? Because Marinette hasn't met them.

And honestly, if Chloe hasn't learned "the meaning of love" at age 14, that sounds like a job for therapy and not her equally aged classmates.

Really wish there were more jabs at Zombizou's power. "I'll spread compassion throughout Paris! By making everyone make out with strangers!" There's a lesson about forced, toxic positivity in here that they totally whiffed on.

I knew from reference photos that sometimes Zombizou's lip mark disappears from her chest, but I held out some hope that it meant something like that she needed to reload on lipstick or something. I am but a fool, they just messed up, since above is literally her after one cut.

Now that Zombizou has entered the ring, can we talk about her design? Because I am confused. The short skirt and puffed sleeves feel too young for Bustier and the patchwork and knitting needles aim more for Marinette - which makes sense if it was meant for Marinette. But the powers have nothing to do with Marinette - in fact, even the parts of Zombizou that remind us of Marinette don't match with what Marinette was upset about:

This should've been the first hint of Princess Justice with the way Hawkmoth sensed Marinette's anger, so where'd this patchwork Tim Burton doll come from?

And then the power and motivation - forcing everyone to feel compassion and love through forced physical contact? Again, there's something here about forced positivity and coercing people to "get along" against their will, but they completely abandoned it by the end.

She kicked Mendeleiev's door in half, she kicked the Art Club door in half, she kicked Damocles' door in half, she kicked the school's front doors in half...this woman is a menace. And she has the gall to tell Damocles "I don't like knocking, I prefer a gentler touch."

Tragic, but between evading Mylene and Sabrina in the courtyard and revealing themselves to Ladybug in the locker room, the class lost Nathaniel and no one even noticed. RIP. Literally I didn't notice until me and my sister went backwards from the Eiffel Tower trying to think of who would and wouldn't have been captured if not for Chloe and it took us to getting to Max and Kim on the roof to think "...wait where'd Nathaniel go?"

Some more errors for you:

Ladybug's grey flat screen (in "Copycat" it's reflective like any other screen)

Chloe's new facial hair ie. Being Impaled by her Side Hair

And Alix's hat that blips in and out of existence but that happens in so many episodes it's basically not even worth screenshotting anymore.

And I'm at my image limit, but they got Zombified Kim's eyes wrong - the glow green, like in "Despair Bear", instead of the purple they're supposed to be.

Zombizou: "NO ONE can escape MY KISS!" and "Witness the final triumph of love!" Me: "Ma'am that is ASSAULT!"

Sorry not sorry but I don't buy Chloe's heel turn at the end. Literally being carried by Chat Noir, by themselves in an elevator as their entire class was picked off one by one she's still asserting that "only the best remain" and isn't the least bit sad about it. She only suddenly cares about "getting in the way" when Chat Noir is taken out.

Because there's no more meat shields. There's no more canon fodder. There's her and there's Ladybug and if Ladybug is taken out, then so is she. There are no other options for Chloe and Ladybug: Ladybug wins or Chloe is infected like everyone else. This doesn't prove that Chloe feels remorseful, it proves that not even Chloe is dumb enough to overlook what it would mean if Ladybug lost here.

Her putting herself between Chat Noir and Ladybug isn't a sacrifice, it's the only option. It's self preservation, it's the only way to succeed. It's not noble that Chloe only does something when the only other option is the same fate that she happily left everyone else to. You could even argue the only reason Chloe needed to interfere was because Chloe distracted Ladybug by trying to apologize NOW of all times.

What's with this show's blonde's and their bad timing?

And about that apology - what a shoehorn! I think the writers did intend for Chloe's apologies to be genuine, but they failed in the set up. Maybe if Chloe got less and less despicable as classmates were picked off, if she got less and less sure of herself, if she acted like when people sacrificed themselves for her that was something to feel GUILTY about- but she doesn't. She's not guilty or even grateful. Kim puts her before him on the baton? She mocks him for thinking that she might possibly kiss him for it, which wasn't even his goal. Rose gets attacked trying to carry her onto the bus? She snaps at her because she wasn't "fast enough" to stop her ankle from getting twisted. Alix pushes her out of the way to make herself a human barricade between Rose and the rest of the survivors on the bus? She complains about people "invading her personal space".

Her apology to Ladybug reads like her swearing to be nice when Stoneheart throws her from the Eiffel Tower - an empty promise on her "deathbed" that's heard by almost no one that she can immediately take back or pretend never happened.

And her "apology" to Bustier isn't any better. I've already pointed out that Chloe could've used her time to rush order a gift if she felt THAT BAD about forgetting Bustier's birthday. She has a butler, her best friend is basically a personal assistant, she's got a phone that she's glued to half the time - she has so many ways to set a reminder or literally get someone else to do her work for her to ensure she got something for Bustier's birthday. There's no excuse, she flat out didn't care enough, that's all there is to it.

And somehow this and her getting her a gift a day later are supposed to be what clues us in that Chloe "has a heart, she just doesn't know how to use it?" Uh, if they really wanted to prove that, maybe she should've actually taken Alya's suggestion about apologizing to the class seriously instead of gloating over "saving Ladybug?" Chloe didn't change, Chloe didn't learn anything!

All that happened was that Marinette was taught by someone in authority over her to ignore Chloe being awful, leaving her open to give Chloe a chance in "Maledictator", leading to even more entitlement on Chloe's part, eventually leading to "Miracle Queen" and "PenalTeam" with Chloe feeling so entitled to everything being handed to her that she opts to side with the BAD GUY.

THAT'S what the lesson in "Zombizou" leads to. THAT is what this starts. This episode has no re-watch value whatsoever thanks to Seasons 3 and 4 and it is rage inducing with hindsight.

tw: mentions of death

he was born on december 27th, 1998 to a hunting family that has been hunting for as long as anyone remembers. his dad, his uncles, his mother, his grandparents? all hunters. jaejin was also trained to be a hunter ever since he was a small kid. didn't question it much, even though his upbringing was tough and strict. he just knew he would never risk a supernatural being hurting someone he cares about.

his dad also owns a side-hustle called fables. it's a restaurant, but it's also a place for his dad to do his illegal business of selling whatever supernatural parts he has collected (and buying weapons, occasionally). jaejin is the current chef of the place. really enjoys cooking and treats it like a hobby, almost.

jaejin lost his mother to a werewolf hunt when he was 14. it kind of fueled him even further.

he also has a little sister, whom he was(/is?) very close to. she was also a hunter, but was presumed dead for a while after a hunting gig gone wrong. (surprise surprise, she's not dead, she's a werewolf.)

^ cue jaejin's mental crisis. he's currently still very actively hunting, but questioning it for the first time in his life. if he follows the code of conduct (made by his family!!), he would have to kill his sister. but can he do that? and if he doesn't, how could he justify killing other supernaturals?

he has a difficult relationship with his dad. he's the person jaejin has tried to please more than anyone in his whole life, but he's also horrible, kind of abusive and just doesn't care about anything other than the code of conduct. jaejin knows he would immediately throw him to the wolves (probably literally) if he found out jaejin has been keeping his sister a secret from him.

if you didn't get it yet, jaejin's whole basis of doing things is to protect people he cares about. he's the kind of annoying big brother who will literally follow you around to make sure you're not in trouble.

but he hardly admits things like that. the thing is, jaejin is very cold and aloof on the outside. he's even mean and intimidating a lot of the time. he will not really care if he says something hurtful if it's something he honestly thinks.

jaejin is very neat and organized. a little obsessively so, even (think levi from attack on titan). it takes a whole ritual to clean himself after a hunt. this obviously follows him on the hunts too, makes him very precise and particular.

he's pretty fond of knives as a weapon. or in general. maybe that's why he likes cooking so much? too bad they're pretty risky when it comes to killing supernatural beings, but i guess he prefers the challenge.

jaejin's other interests include metal music and skateboarding.

generally a smart guy. gets annoyed a lot by people, especially by them messing up. will clean up said messes if he cares even a little, though (because he's actually soft for people he likes. he just pretends so hard not to be, i hate him).

possible plots / connections???

(( this is for a new character, but i'll put it here anyways: his sister! i have tried to keep her pretty vaguely described if anyone would like to muse up a character from her, all i'm really after is someone born in '00-02. she was turned by the kang pack originally, but i suppose she could have left the pack afterwards. ))

little brother / sister figures. jaejin is a big brother in capital letters, and he would definitely "adopt" someone as his younger sibling, especially now since his relationship with his own sister is kind of difficult. i would also love this person to kind of hate jaejin looking after them so much without them asking.

enemies, especially supernaturals! maybe someone he has chased and hunted for a long time but has not been able to catch. maybe a fairy or gumiho purposely playing pranks on him to get him annoyed? maybe a werewolf who just loathes him because he's been targeting the werewolves so much??? anything!

a win-win relationship. maybe it's even a kind of hush-hush one, maybe a witch helping jaejin out in order to have him help out them in return? maybe they have a bit of a rocky start (jaejin especially), but they may warm up to each other eventually.

hunters! they could be frenemies, in competition with each other. maybe they'd casually help each other out?

your muse has saved jaejin one (or more) times. jaejin would hate that, because he's usually striving to save others. bonus points if your muse constantly reminds him of that. (this could be another hunter/human, but could easily be a supernatural too!)

any potential romantic connections! exes, fwbs, crushes... i do think it would be entirely possible for jaejin to "eye" someone even if they're a supernatural, especially if it's in a casual setting where he couldn't possibly be certain of them. ooor maybe someone is crushing on him and he's completely blind to it? or maybe he's even aware but just doesn't react, or reacts meanly?? i dunno, i do love a bit of romance even though jaejin is probably not the biggest romantic out there sldkfj.

angst. angst in any way and form. he could have hurt someone your muse loves, a family member, anything. he could be attempting to hurt you and then stops himself?? he could be mean but meaning well and your muse reacts badly?

honestly, I feel a little better being anon, I am not sure why so yeah I will probably get off anon at some point but right now I don't feel ready.

it really is suffocating, isn't it? like a tiny claw in your stomach that seems to grow and every time I try to take a step I am painfully reminded of how much I've lost and everything that I will never be able to lose.

today I cried a lot because of it. While I was doing the dishes, while I was preparing for school and even while I am writing this. It just feels comforting, talking to you, like somebody is understanding.

yeah, it's like. i'm walking and moving about, going through the day but it's like there's something sinking in my chest?? like a weight?? and it makes all my limbs heavy. kind of like in the original little mermaid - she was walking but every step felt like walking on glass. but still she walked. because what else was she to do? she had to. and it just hurt.

i spent the majority of yesterday crying too. i went to sleep at 11.30, woke up at 1 AM and cried majority of the night (morning?). then i cried again while watching the sunrise. and reading. and waiting for the bus. then when one of my friends left and i had to go back home. all the time when i'm alone, honestly. i think i might be all out of tears to cry, at this point. and i cried again when i got your message right before going to bed (good morning btw!), it definitely does feel comforting to talk to someone who at least understands what you're going through. by the way, i just wanted to say i'm really sorry for your loss. honestly i'm the lucky one. sometimes i wondered if i was just dragging her down, not that it matters anymore. kit feels stupid to be anxious about that stuff now. but i could honestly talk about her for hours, i have so much to say! even before she passed, i talked to one of my friends about her so much she was probably sick of hearing it. i honestly wish i talked about her more now. there's just so much i can say.

i checked spotify yesterday and saw the last thing she listened to was a song from one of my playlists. the little things really do hurt i'm honestly so scared to rewatch given now cause i know i'll relate to mafuyu. it hit hard before but now it's just gonna be worse. plus doesn't help that i watched given for her cause she loved it so much. it's like the world is just full of things she left behind and i'm reminded of that with every breath i take and it hurts

I think it can be both. It can be really daunting, as someone who is starting out to look up art or see a ton of art that is just so good and so far beyond what you can imagine achieving. Just as it can be daunting to put up your art that, in real life people go "Wow you're amazing!" And you get radio static on the internet. Where someone talking about boogers or rubber ducks can get hundreds of likes/notes.

But I also, never would have kept or even started drawing if it wasn't for the support I got from the internet. I started out by editing screenshots from old games for forum signatures. Then because of an art forum devoted to Everquest I fell into pixel art or dolling and then.. I tentatively started drawing because I had encouragement. I was a teenager and my dad was a professional illustrator so I was afraid to draw. Big shadows. Sadly the forum is very dead now. This was 15+ years ago. But they had figured out a system to help people get the support they needed. Not just random commentary.

You could post a piece, whether it was pixel art, traditional, mixed media, or digital and let them know what level of constructive criticism you wanted - if any.

Which allowed you to get encouragement and praise without feedback when you just needed to be encouraged. And allowed you to ask for hard hitting critique when you needed that too.

While that place is gone.. RIP StudioMMO! I decided last year that I needed something similar and made an art support discord with some of my artist friends connected to an MMO I was playing. It's not just tied to that, but now it's thriving and I've built it in a similar way and while I believe every active member would have improved without us. I do honestly think forming support groups of artists truly helps us all.

We need to cheer for each other, and be one anothers eyes when ours are tired. We need a place with people who will support our work because its hard to get it elsewhere.

It's not a closed group but I haven't chosen to make it a tumblr or anything. But if you need support, or just a place to chat with other artists.. by all means message me. I won't be offended if you check it out and leave.

It's an active but not so overwhelmingly huge group so you actually get people responding. Most people post ESO or SWTOR or WoW art but the premise is a support group for people who do art and play MMOs. The art can be of whatever.

But I also encourage you all to build your own if that's your preference. It's been extremely effective for me, and I've watched many of our members absolutely blossom in the year since I made it. It makes me feel so proud and like I want to hang all their art on my fridge. I'm a goober that way.

Maybe it's silly. But I do believe you can use the internet to support your efforts if you go about it in the right way. However there isn't a website that tells you how best to use the internet to your advantage to learn that doesn't get overly huge and too big to be supportive in that way.

All I am saying really is. Find your creative support group. Your tribe. Be one anothers cheerleaders and teachers. Everyone can benefit from extra eyes even if you are just starting you can still have input that someone could use. My art eyes and brain have more skill than my arthands, so I use that to help others.

That's not even delving into how valuable the internet is for finding resources. But I'll stick to talking about creative support groups for now.
