Rintarou’s already wide smile did nothing but grow at the adorably embarrassed reaction from the taller boy, body leaning closer and head tilting to the side as he tried to get a more direct sight of Engel’s face. Was he getting a bit red? He couldn’t quite see considering the attempts of the redhead to cover his face and lower his hoodie.

He advanced one more step and reached up to hold Engel’s hands in his own -if the guy thought he could hide, then Rintarou would demonstrate how wrong he was. He wanted to see Engel’s cute flustered face, and not even those cute attempts to hide would stop him!

“Eh? Are you embarrassed?” he giggled, gently pulling Engel’s hands away from his face, fingers playfully lacing with the longer and colder ones from the other “I just answered when you asked me if I had ever seen anything prettier than these flowers~ Of course, I would say that Engel-kun is prettier since that’s the truth!”

Magical moonlight

Rintarou was born out of a mix of two species, a batch of two eggs in which each one ended up being part of a different species. His sister, charming and beautiful was born a Coatl red and white and golden, as he might have been. A beautiful feathery dragon that played under the sun... Meanwhile, as a Nocturne, he was chained to the night. To the shadows that inhabited it and to the endless bright moonlight.

He envied his sister who could stay out and see firsthand the beautiful performances of the skydancers, rolling around the clouds and through the wind... so he stuck to her all through the night, listening to her stories of beautiful dances that seemed to make the whole word stop.

Maybe it was his craving for the light, thought it most likely was the contact with his sister -and the genetics in him- but as time went by, his dark colors changed to pastels. greens and pinks and blues. Unsightly tones for a nocturne. A shame even.  he was able to stand in the light for a while, but his condition as a nocturne still showed itself making it hard for him.

having lost his place in the darkness of the Shadow Realm, yet unable to find peace in the day of light where his sister lived either, he was completely alone. Left to roam through the nights in search of a purpose... 

Until he saw it... the dream-like image he had always wanted to witness himself. The marvelous performance, magical and unstoppable, of a skydancer crossing the sky... a dance unlike any other, bathed by moonlight and surrounded by gentle petals of red...

If love at first sight was a thing between dragons... he was sure this was the case.

Enchanted, he witnessed the whole dance, and couldn’t help but wave his wings and growl softly, a gentle praise at this magical sight which he would never forget.

Spoiled at work

Being the very pampered and spoiled second child of the Tomoe family, the thought of working a part-time at some store had never crossed his mind, not even once. He was doing more than enough by promoting the family’s company with his idol work and he had even started college, even if unsure of what do make of it.

However, as Jun seemed to be angry at him and Nagisa was always busy, Hiyori had nothing but long spaces on nothingness. There was so much time he can spend pretending to talk to Blood Mary before he got tired of that too. And before you mention it no, he was NOT going to deal with that damn poisonous snake. it was bad enough that they had ended up living on the same house. If he also had to see him, he would actually have to murder him. Or something.

And just as he was thinking of what to do to occupy himself, a little sign with ‘assistance needed’ in a flower shop called his attention. Not to be pretentious, but he was definitely THE VERY BEST at flower arrangement back in school!

Proud and happy he had actually managed to get the job! The times were also flexible so he could only take some hours a week -enough to keep himself occupied.

And what was he doing in one of those first times of working? of course, he was playing to make a flower arrangement with the flowers around. That no one had asked for it? Not a problem! Who wouldn’t love to see a perfect flower arrangement in the store! This was going just perfect~ fufufu~

This is a bad idea. Getting out from the apartment is the bad thing. The worse thing is he’s not with his brother right now. Pressuring himself to walk all over the street, he tries to hide his nervousness. 

It only gets worse when Kyosuke informed him that he’s in the haunted house. And asks him to meet him there. 

Looking around, the orange head tries to find somebody who wants to go to the haunted house with him. It’s impossible to go there alone! He doubt that he can even go into the haunted house without screaming. 

“H-Hey.. uhm, are you going to the haunted house too?” he asks a random person, thinking that they want to go to the same same destination as him.

Working up to having plants in his dorm was emotionally trying. This put him in charge of an actual living thing, something that needed to be constantly cared for and supported, things he had no experience in.

His childhood homes usually lacked a garden, and when they did miraculously contain one it was cared for by someone else, someone who did not appreciate him trying to nose his way into the process.

So it made sense to introduce himself to having plants around before having living plants around? Or something along those lines.

Sweating slightly due to lurking outside of Petit Petales for so long, Kyouhei entered the extravagant flower shop, eyes bulging out of their sockets at the amount of flowers and the quality of each type.

Curiosity

      After many years of clinging with claws and fangs to the heavy chains of his past, having them released felt... odd. It was as much of a relief as it was a growing anxiety, which he wasn’t sure what to do about.

     He had never been alone, and he had never been without an... objective.

     So what was left for him to do? Even if he had gone to this foreign land to be truly free, he didn’t knew what to do with this new gained life. This second chance his sister had wanted so baldy for him.

     He stretched his legs forward as he sat on a bench at the park, playfully sucking on the rings on his lower lip as he indulged in some ‘people watching’ to kill time.

      Ah, there was the person again~ Rintarou’s purple eyes followed after the silhouette of the person in question, in a not very obvious way.

       He saw them fairly often, specially since they worked at the flower shop at the mall. It was hard to ignore someone you saw so often. He wondered if they were going for work today as well or not. Maybe if they weren’t busy they would accept chatting a bit with him?

       Finally he got up from the bench, casually following their track from a distance until they stopped somewhere. Only then did he approached to strike a conversation.

      “Heyaaaa~ Say, say~ Are you busy today?” he greeted with a cheerful smile, waving his over-sized sleeves around.
