Repost from @ruthchousimons using @repostregramapp • • Anyone else remember a time —before mortgages, kids, hard seasons in marriage, before unexpected losses and life turns— when you took more risks, laughed too loud, and felt fun + brilliantly funny? 💃🏻⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Ever wonder what happened to that goofy, light-hearted girl who used to say, “Yes! Sure! Why not!” when so many thoughts now seem to begin with: “The problem is...” “What if..” or “If only...” 🙋🏻‍♀️⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 👉🏼 To all of us a bit hardened, jaded, and slow to smile, here’s what’s making a difference for me:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 1. Rest —get unplugged, off social media, and be in awe of His creation instead of your own.⁣⁣ ⁣ 2. Take yourself less seriously, and take God at His Word, more seriously.⁣⁣ ⁣ 3. Don’t wish for who you were, set your face toward who you want to BECOME.⁣⁣ ⁣ 4.
