తాత్పర్యము : స్థావరజంగమాత్మకమైన ఈ జగత్తు కాలపురుషుని అధీనములో ఉన్నది. రజస్సత్త్వతమో గుణముల అభిమాన దేవతలగు బ్రహ్మ విష్ణు మహేశ్వరులు కాలమునకు వశులై ప్రతి కల్పము నందున�� సృష్టి, స్థితి, లయములను జరుపుచున్నారు.

🌴 5. Form of Bhakti - Glory of Time - 44 🌴

44. guṇābhimānino devāḥ sargādiṣv asya yad-bhayāt vartante 'nuyugaṁ yeṣāṁ vaśa etac carācaram

MEANING : Out of fear of Godhead, the directing demigods in charge of the modes of material nature carry out the functions of creation, maintenance and destruction; everything animate and inanimate within this material world is under their control.

PURPORT : The three modes of material nature, namely goodness, passion and ignorance, are under the control of three deities—Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Lord Śiva. Lord Viṣṇu is in charge of the mode of goodness, Lord Brahmā is in charge of the mode of passion, and Lord Śiva is in charge of the mode of ignorance. Similarly, there are many other demigods in charge of the air department, the water department, the cloud department, etc. Just as the government has many different departments, so, within this material world, the government of the Supreme Lord has many departments, and all these departments function in proper order out of fear of the Godhead. Demigods are undoubtedly controlling all matter, animate and inanimate, within the universe, but above them the supreme controller is the Godhead. Therefore in the Brahma-saṁhitā it is said, īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ (BS 5.1). Undoubtedly there are many controllers in the departmental management of this universe, but the supreme controller is Kṛṣṇa.

There are two kinds of dissolutions. One kind of dissolution takes place when Brahmā goes to sleep during his night, and the final dissolution takes place when Brahmā dies. As long as Brahmā does not die, creation, maintenance and destruction are actuated by different demigods under the superintendence of the Supreme Lord.

వేలకొలది అనగా అనంతములగు జ్వాలలు ఎవ్వనివియో. అతనే సహస్రార్చి.

Anantāni sahasrāṇi yasyārciṃṣi gadābhr‌taḥ, Sa sahasrārcirityuktaḥ vidyadbhirviṣṇuruttamaiḥ.

He who has thousands i.e., endless rays is Sahasrārciḥ.

నిజమైన తాత్విక పద్ధతి పక్కదారి పట్టకూడదు, ఏదైనా నిర్దిష్ట లేదా ప్రత్యేక సిద్ధాంతానికి పక్షపాతంగా ఉండకూడదు. అది ఊహ ఏంటో, అంటర్ప్రక్రియ ఏంటో తెలుసుకుని, విశ్లేషణాత్మకంగా, ప్రేరకంగా ఆలోచిం�� గలగాలి. అత్యున్నత తత్వం అనేది అంచెలంచెలుగా ఉన్నత సత్యాలను అర్థం చేసుకుంటూ, సత్యం యొక్క వ్యాపకత్వాన్ని ఇంకా ఉన్నతంగా అనుభవం లోకి తెచ్చుకుంటూ, అదే సమయంలో తర్కాన్ని సైతం పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుంటూ అత్యున్నత సత్యం వైపు అడుగులు వేస్తుంది.

అప్పుడు విశ్లేషణాత్మక పద్ధతి ద్వారా ఈ సత్యం యొక్క వెలుగులో అనుభవ వాస్తవాలను అర్థం చేసుకుని, వివరిస్తుంది. తాత్విక విచారణ యొక్క అత్యంత సంతృప్తికరమైన పద్ధతికి ఇది గొప్ప ఉదాహరణ. తత్వశాస్త్రం అనేది సత్యం యొక్క అన్వేషణ కాబట్టి అది ప్రతిపాదించేది సత్యం యొక్క స్వభావానికి అనుగుణంగా ఉండాలి. తత్వశాస్త్రంలో మరియు ఆధ్యాత్మికతలో మీ గమ్యం మీ సాధనాల స్వభావాన్ని నిర్ణయిస్తుంది.

🌻 18. The Philosophy of the Absolute 🌻

The true philosophic method should not be lopsided, should not be biased to any particular or special dogma, but comprehend within itself the processes of reflection and speculation and at the same time be able to reconcile the deductive and inductive methods of reasoning. The philosophy of the Absolute rises above particulars to greater and greater universals, basing itself on facts of observation and experience by the method of induction and gradual generalisation of truths, without missing even a single link in the chain of logic and argumentation, reflection and contemplation, until it reaches the highest generalisation of the Absolute Truth.

Then by the deductive method comes down to interpret and explain the facts of experience in the light of the nature of this Truth. This is a great example of the most satisfactory method of philosophical enquiry. Philosophy being the way of the knowledge of Truth, its method must be in agreement with the nature of Truth. In philosophy and religion the end always determines the nature of the means.

Knowledge acquired through sensory perceptions are said to be limited because of the influence of māya or illusion. Illusionary influence on the mind binds an individual becomes the cause to get involved in actions without surrendering the effects of such actions to God. Unless one makes considerable spiritual progression by getting rid of ego, the concept surrender does not imbibe. Ultimately, it is only the afflicted mind that is responsible for transmigration of soul. It is unable to differentiate between what is real and unreal and gets addicted to pleasures of life.

వీటి బైట వజ్రము మొదలగు అస్త్రమయఆవరణములను పూజించవలెను. వీటి బైట దిక్పలకుల వాహనరూపములగు ఆవరణములను పూజింపవలెను. తూర్పు మొదలగు దిక్కులందు క్రమముగ ఐరావతమును, మేకను, దున్నపోతును, వానరుని, మత్స్యమును, మృగమును, చెవులపిల్లిని, వృషభమును, కూర్మమును, హంసను పూజింపవలెను. వీటి బయట పృశ్నిగర్భుడు, కుముదుడు మొదలగు ద్వారపాలులను పూజింపలెను. 

తూర్పు మొదలు ఉత్తరము వరకు, అన్ని దిక్కులందును ఇద్దరిద్దరు ద్వారపాంకులను పూజింపవలెను. పిమ్మట శ్రీహరికి నమస్కారము చేసి వెలుపల బలి అర్పింపవలెను. ''ఓం విష్ణుపార్షదేభ్యో నమః '' అను మంత్రము నుచ్చరించుచు విష్ణుపీఠముపై వారలకు బలి అర్పింపవలెను. ఈశానదిక్కునందు ''ఓం విశ్వాయ విష్వక్సేనాయ నమః'' అను మంత్రముచే విష్వక్సేనపూజ చేయవలెను. పిమ్మట దేవుని కుడిచేతికి రక్షాసూత్రము కట్టవలెను. 

ఆ సమయమున ఆ భగవంతునితో ఇట్లు చెప్పవలెను-

''నేను నియమపూర్వకముగ ఉపవాసాదులు చేసి ఇష్టదేవతకు సంతోషము కలిగింపగలను. దేవేశ్వరా! నేడు మొదలు వైశేషిక ఉత్సవ దివసము వరకును కామక్రోధాదిదోషము లేవియు నా వద్దకు రాకుండు గాక''. 

వ్రతమును స్వీకరించిన యజమానుడు ఉపవాసముచేయు సామర్థ్యము లేని పక్షమున నక్తవ్రతము (రాత్రిమాత్రమే భోజనము చేయుట) ఆచరించవలెను. హవనము చేసి భగవంతునిస్తోత్రము చేసిన పిమ్మట భగవంతుని ఉద్వాసన చెప్పవలెను. భగవంతుని నిత్యపూజ చేసి చో లక్ష్మి ప్రాప్తించును. భగవంతుని పూజించుటకై ''ఓం హ్రీం శ్రీం శ్రీధరాయ త్రైలోక్యమోహనాయ నమః'' అనునది మంత్రము.

శ్రీ అగ్ని మహాపురాణమునందు పవిత్రారోపణమున శ్రీధరనిత్యపూజావిధాన మను ముప్పదిమూడవ అధ్యాయము సమ���ప్తము.

*🌻 Mode of investiture of the sacred thread for the deity and the installation of the deity - 7 🌻*

45. The bow, club, sword, and garland of wild flowers (should be worshipped) outside it. Indra and others as well as Ananta, and Varuṇa (should be worshipped) in the south-west.

46-48. Brahmā and Indra (should be worshipped) in the north-east and their hosts of weapons on the outside. The Airā-vata (the elephant of Indra), goat, buffalo, monkey, fish, deer, hare, bull, tortoise, and haṃsa (should be worshipped) and Kṛṣṇa on the outside. The gate-keepers Kumuda and others (should be worshipped) in pairs from the east to the north. After saluting Hari, the food (is offered) outside. Salutations to the attendants of Viṣṇu. The offering should be made on the altar.

49. One should worship the Universal Being, the All-pervading on the north-east. The protective thread should be tied on the right arm of the lord.

50. (One should say), “Oṃ salutations to the one who confers full benefits of worship done through the whole year. You wear this thread for the purpose of installation.”

51. One should observe the vow of fasting etc. in the presence of the deity (saying), “I am pleasing the deity by observing fasting etc.”

52. “May not lust, anger, and all other (qualities) reside in me ever. O lord of gods from this day onwards it is the last of them.”

53. If the worshipper is unable (to do as described), he should observe the vow eating only in the night. Having made oblations, the visarjana (dismissal) is done, after laudation. This is the (mode of) daily worship which yields riches. Oṃ, hrīṃ, śrīm, salutations to Śrīdhara the enchanter of the three worlds.

బ్రహ్మ ఇట్లు పలికెను -

ఆతడిట్లు పలికి వారిని నిందించుట వలన తన పుణ్యమును పోగొట్టు కొనెను. యుద్దవీరులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడగు ఆ తారకుడు అత్యద్భుతమగు శక్తిని చేతబట్టెను (36). ఇంద్రుడు గుహుని ముందిడుకొని ఆ బాలుని సమీపమునకు వచ్చుచున్న తారకాసురుని బలముగా వజ్రముతో కొట్టెను (37). నిందచే నష్టమైన బలము గల ఆ తారకుడు ఆ వజ్రపు దెబ్బచే శిథిలమైన అవయవములు గలవాడై వెంటనే క్షణకాలము నేలపై బడెను(38).

ఆతడు క్రిందపడిననూ మరల పైకి లేచి ఏనుగుపై నున్న ఆ ఇంద్రుని కోపముతో శక్తితో కొట్టి నేలపై బడవేసెను (39). ఇంద్రుడు పడుటను గాంచిన దేవసేనలో పెద్ద హాహాకారము బయల్వెడలెను. దేవతలను దుఃఖము ఆవేశించెను (40). తారకుడా సమయములో దుఃకము నిచ్చునది, తన నాశమునకు హేతవు అయినది, ధర్మమునకు విరుద్ధమైనది అగు కర్మను ఆచరించినాడు. దానిని నేను చెప్పెదను. తెలుసుకొనుము(41). పడియున్న ఇంద్రుని ఆతడు కాలితో తన్ని వజ్రమును చేతినుండి లాగుకొని దానితో మిక్కుటముగా ఆతనిని కొట్టెను (42).

ఈ విధముగా ఇంద్రుడు అవమానింపబడుటను గాంచి ప్రతాపశీలుడగు విష్ణు భగవానుడు చక్రమును పైకెత్తి తారకుని కొట్టెను(43). చక్రముతో గొట్టిన దెబ్బకు అతడు నేలపై బడెను. కాని ఆ రాక్షసరాజు మరల లేచి శక్తితో విష్ణువును కొట్టెను (44). ఆ శక్తి యొక్క దెబ్బకు అచ్యుతుడు నేలపై బడెను. అపుడు దేవతలు పెద్ద హాహాకారముతో అధికముగా ఆక్రోశించిరి (45). కాని ఒక నిమేషకాలములో విష్ణువు స్వయముగా లేచి నిలబడెను. ఇంతలో వీరభద్రుడు తత్‌క్షణమే రాక్షసుని పైకి వెళ్లెను (46).

*🌻 Boasting of Tāraka and fight between him and Indra, Viṣṇu, Vīrabhadra - 4 🌻*

Brahmā said:—

36. Saying this and dispossessing himself of his own merit by that act of censure, Tāraka the foremost among war-mongers seized his wonderful spear.

37. Indra who was going ahead of Kumāra hit the demon Tāraka forcibly with his thunderbolt as he was approaching the boy.

38. Tāraka was shattered and split by that blow of the thunderbolt, his power being sapped up already by the act of censure. He fell on the ground.

39. Though he fell down, he got up immediately and furiously hit Indra who was seated on an elephant, with his spear and felled him to the ground.

40. When Indra fell down there was a great hue and cry. On seeing it a great pain entered the army of the gods.

41. Know from me the vile action that Tāraka has committed against virtue which is sure to bring about his own ruin.

42. He stamped on Indra with his foot after he fell down and seized his thunderbolt with which he hit him with great force.

43. Seeing Indra thus insulted, the powerful lord Viṣṇu lifted his discus and hit Tāraka.

44. Hit by the discus he fell on the ground. Getting up again, the lord of the Asuras hit Viṣṇu with his spear.

45. On being hit by the spear Viṣṇu fell on the ground. There was a great uproar. The gods lamented much.

46-47. Within a moment Viṣṇu got up but by that time Vīrabhadra came near the demon and dexterously raised his trident.

*As I see it, becoming childlike is a great responsibility. You start becoming responsible to yourself, but you start dropping your masks, your false faces. Others may start feeling disturbed because they have always had expectations and you were fulfilling those demands. Now they will feel that you are becoming irresponsible. When they say that you are becoming irresponsible, they are simply saying that you are getting out from under their control. You are becoming freer. To condemn your behavior, they call it "childish" or "irresponsible."*

Ekadashi October 2020:- Indira Ekadashi on 13th October ,2020 and Panpkusha  Ekadashi on 27th October ,2020

Ganesh Chaurthi:- 5th October  2020 ( Krishan Paksha)- kartik  month and 20th October ,2020 (Shukal Paksha) Aswin month
