Since PPT2 12 came out.

The kicker I get out of "smart" type book characters is the fact that smartness makes them prone to stress and varying amounts of mental illness.

Journal PPT2 is the most notable example, his knowledge of something nobody else has makes him very paranoid and also immensely stubborn whether things don't go his way.

So seeing the various ways books deal with stressful situations and what they get out of it is like music to my ears.
