this is very random but i was searching on tumblr to find some pictures of ancient artifacts from my countries because they're SO beautiful but all the pictures i found were sourced from european/american museums and auction houses and i just couldn't bring myself to reblog them because like ... they were very clearly stolen from my country lmao i wholeheartedly support you guys in hopefully revolting against the royal family but when you do make sure to empty out your museums <3

:(( that’s so fucking sad dude. genuinely from the bottom of my heart, i am so sorry you have to experience that. can’t even imagine the headspace of what it must be like - like the level of frustration. i don’t understand how it is a well known fact that we stole these artefacts and jewels of such colossal value, and yet there hasn’t been a single repercussion. not even the common decency to give all of it back. literally for what?? what exempts them from having to abide by the same rules as the rest of us when the horrors they commit are on a much wider scale than anything any random person has ever done and been punished for?? i know the answer but i’ll never stop asking the question. it’s truly disgusting. when we overthrow the old bitch, the museums are the first to go i promise. then i’ll invite u to take what u like from buckingham palace. from that point it’s just legally yours bc that’s how this works apparently ! lol fr though it’s truly the most awful thing. i know it’s a long shot but i really hope we live 2 see the day they pay for it all somehow
