"would sportacus beat homelander" is a useless question. of course he can. anyone could beat homelander if it's funny enough. homelander is a cat in a world of mice, the second you put him outside of his home universe he gets his teeth kicked in. you have to be completely and utterly cringefail to not beat homelander.
no the real question is "how long would this character be able to tolerate Homelander being Himself at them before snapping and beating him within an inch of his life" because that's a much more nuanced and interesting question.
