it's a shame a lot of people dont really like Party Pooper Pants.

i think the episode is hilarious. i do feel bad for spongebob because everything went wrong for him, and the party was only good (to those who were invited) because he was locked out and couldnt go on with his very long list of activities

but it's a good special imo. we also got "The Humpback Hop". that song was lost media for a long time until like... last year? I'm really happy it was found. Always liked that groovy music. Underwater Sun slaps.

Unusual NASCAR Sponsors

NASCAR is probably the number one sport in the U.S, that relies heavily on sponsor revenue. There are ads everywhere. While watching a NASCAR race, even when it’s not a commercial, you can’t go a single millisecond without their being an ad for something on the screen. Lots of sponsors have come and gone throughout the history of the sport and some of them are just bizarre. Today, we’re going to look at some of the weird sponsors.

To start off, we have Winston. There was a time in NASCAR, when Winston was the main series sponsor for NASCAR’s top division. It was called the NASCAR Winston cup series. It was like this for over three decades. In the old days, smoking wasn’t as frowned upon as it is now. In 2004, NASCAR banned all Tobacco related sponsors, and the top series was renamed to the Nextel cup series. Back in 1996, something funny happened during the Winston 500 at Talladega. Dick Trickle (Yes, that is his real name) was smoking a cigarette during the race. I wonder if Winston paid him to do that. And no, there is no way in hell that would be allowed today.

Next up, we have the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Yep, NASCAR partnered with one of the most loved children cartoons of all time. NASCAR had a two-year partnership with Nickelodeon’s heroes in a half shell. In 2016 and 2017, they were the title sponsors of the two races at Chicagoland speedway those years. They had a trophy that all four of the turtles on it. And the winner of the race would get the trophy, along with being covered in Nickelodeon slime. The same driver won both races, Martin Truex Junior. Now, I remember watching the 2016 race with my sister. When she saw the trophy, she said she’d want one like that. She’s probably really jealous of Truex, he’s got two of them.

From one Nickelodeon cartoon to another, we have SpongeBob SquarePants. Who hasn’t heard of this cartoon? Shortly before the movie came out in 2004, there was a race called the SpongeBob SquarePants movie 300. That was a Busch series race in Charlotte. Fast forward to 11 years later at Kansas in 2015, and SpongeBob became the title sponsor of a cup series Kansas race. The SpongeBob SquarePants 400. The entire wall was painted for that race to make it look like a sponge. Jimmie Johnson won that race and ended up getting a SpongeBob trophy. I swear, you can literally find SpongeBob anywhere in the world. His face is everywhere. Of course he was going to be seen at a NASCAR race.

This next one is funny to me but might not be funny to you. I know people are subjective when it comes to toilet humor. During the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond raceway in 2013, Juan Pablo Montoya’s number 42 car had the Depends paint scheme. For those who don’t know Depends is a company that makes adult diapers. You get potty trained as a kid, but once you become an old person, you forget everything you learned. (That’s a joke, I’m not trying to be offensive towards the elderly) This does bring up an interesting question, is this how NASCAR drivers go to the bathroom during the race? LOL XD

Warning, this final sponsor may or may not be PG-13. There was a time when Mark Martin’s primary sponsor was Viagra. The pill that grown men take when they are having trouble with erectile dysfunction. In other words, pills for the penis. I get that the product is important and it has its uses, but aren’t their kids watching this? I can picture a 5 year old girl watching this, and asking this question? “Daddy, what’s Viagra?” This is probably the most craziest sponsor in NASCAR history. It’s just weird. And no, I don’t take the pill.

What's up, dude? I reblogged like a bunch of spongebob stuff from you a few days ago and it has me wondering if you have any cool spongebob headcanons or anything you'd like to share

Aww, that's lovely of you to ask!

Well, it's been a while since I was in the fandom, but I do have a few (which might even be fanfics one day, who knows):

1. All the characters used to be very different: This is based on a Kamp Koral reboot idea I have. I think if it has to exist, at least make it interesting! In other words, show how these beloved characters became the way we know! It's not a complete idea but basically, Spongebob would be really shy, insecure and anxious, Patrick would be an overachiever desperate to please his parents (unaware they love him the way he is), Squidward would actually be nice but feel pressured by society to grow up, Sandy ran away from home to discover a world she thought was more her speed, etc. Eventually they help each other become the way we know!

2. Mr. Krabs values money so much because it's his coping mechanism: yes, he takes it extremely far, but Krabs has been betrayed\abandoned by his father, best friend, Pearl's mom. The only constant is money. The only reason people care is because of his food, which he makes money out of. He thinks it will make him finally happy. It doesn't.

3. The Man Ray in every episode post his first appearance is the actor that played him on TV.

4. Not a HC as much as an OC based on a fan event I went to last week: Patchy has a daughter with blue hair and pronouns who finds his obsession weird but ends up joining Spongebob on a quest to save her father. She's half bird because of Potty, don't ask.
