I love Pizzano so much, yall don't even know. Like he's just this portrayal of a man on the spectrum dealing with obvious mental health issues, who is for all intents and purposes washed up. The catharsis of him is delicious; normally most portrayals of mental health struggles leave me indifferent or angry at them. Yet whether through competent writing or sheer luck the Sugary Spire team hit the nail on it's head.

He's also baby girl and I want to cuddle him.

Regularly he talks about pop culture things you don't fucking get, and he looks offended when you go 'the fuck???' He probably forces you to watch films he considers classics. Middle age music tastes. Like sure you got the Italian classics that his grandparents and mom listened to, but fuck man you better like shit like Guns and Roses.

Like I also feel like any reference to your generations culture could cause a stroke. Like how can you explain why you say "I sure hope it does" when you see a roadwork sign. How can you begin to have him fathom surreal humor??

Fake Peppino(s) Headcannons

After the fall, a lot of them now live in the wild and mimic wildlife.

They're beneficial to environment when they're mimicking native species, but true menaces when things like cats or dogs.

Fake Peppino has a strong kinship with them even if they're not as developed as him

Leading to him having those giant oval metal containers that people use to old chick's to sell em. He uses them for the Feps he finds

They range from Itty bitty bee sized to Moose sized.

The ones that were seen in War that look exactly like him were probably unstable and immediately dissolved from like the first rains

Peppino experiences existential horror when he interacts with the ones that aren't mimicking or so small and undeveloped they're like vauge chef blobs. With the exception of Fep (Bruno)

That's now his best worker and roommate, man's helping him out of debt and they just vibe. And he looks just different enough that it doesn't really trigger the terror (unless he sees him in a hallway in the middle of the night)

Fep definitely has dreams of Peppinos memories and has a moment every time when he wakes up.

Has PTSD and all the other disorders Pep has

Is trying his best to establish his own self

This leads to him getting into a lot of old lady craft hobbies.

Why yes he is apart of a knitting circle online where he learns how to knit and stuff

Is definitely the little brother type to Pep

Can eventually learn to mimic him just enough to run the front of the shop.

He is learning how to do other people too

He's also getting speaking lessons from Gustavo.

Peppino Headcanons

Most boomer ass mindset

Thinks he can bootstrap his way out of all his issues

This means this man is not medicated. He probably takes sleeping pills and whatever his doctor prescribes for physical health

Def has the "kids these days don't know how to work" grindset even if his 'working' is him slowly making his problems worse

Probably has fibromyalga, undiagnosed

He's undiagnosed in a lot of things let's be honest. Probably only has PTSD on his charts because he's had a severe flashback at the doctor

He's a VA hater, has dealt with too much shit with them.

Illegally owns a gun. He won't tell you how he got his shot gun, but he has it.

He lives in his successful siblings' shadows.

All his siblings are either doctors or lawyers/other respectable jobs he's just there.

This has led to a troubled family relationship because he's very obviously struggling but won't take any help.

Needs reading glasses most of the time.(he probably needs to update the prescription too).

The type to feed strays when he thinks no one is looking. Gustavo has caught him squatting out back, feeding some cats salami. "They can have a little bit, as a treat." Was his response.

Horrified of Fep, like he's now apart of his night terrors horrified.

Sometimes when I go through his blog I wonder why there isn't more angst being posted by the fans because its rife with angst potential.

I mean we got so many things like

The fact that he is still very obviously not over him getting fired since he goes into detail why they fired him and the whole fact that he still lives in that persona

The fact he was in the Marines

The way it can be read as a manic episode unfolding on the website

The very obvious fact that Stinky doesn't care that much about him to stop him from posting his tax information

The fact that Pizzelle is terrified of him and thinks he's mentally unwell

The glaring lack of his younger years implying that everything he loves talking about, his youth is considered a no go zone.

How his videos match a lolcow style. For me it reminds me of Chris-chans videos and that means I need someone to literally watch it for me and tell me what happens because my sympathy cringe goes into overdrive.

Like I feel like his character is a lot sadder when you really think on it. Like for me it reads like an autistic man with bipolar disorder showing off how he is failed by those around him because no one thinks to stop him or address why he acts in such a way.

Gustavo Headcanons

I feel like he's just a very short dude and not some gnome, like he doesn't have the whimsy of the gnomes

Peppinos delivery driver. He rides Brick to destinations, and everyone loves it.

Has served in the military but not in the same area as Pep

In fact, I think he coasted through his entire service either on a base or somewhere quiet. Like a secretary for a general or a guy who loads bombs on planes

They totally met at the VA. He was trying to get paperwork done and ran into Peppino (giving him a fucking heart attack because the man was surprised).

Democratic socialist. Now I cannot I'm anyway give you evidence for this but I feel it deep in my bones.

Lives in a multi-generational household. Like definitely stays there to help around and take care of his parents and the kids.

He has poker nights and game nights that he tries to invite Peppino too.

Bisexual and comfortable with his sexuality.

Heavy social drinker. If there's a party, he's there and shitfaced. Good thing he's generally a happy drunk, only getting mad if provoked.
