Aurora leaned against the door to Noah’s abode, armed with a bottle of Jack Daniel’s in one hand and a 6-pack of Heineken in the other. In an attempt to capture her friend’s attention, she knocked against the door using the back of her head, unable to access her phone. “Noooooah!” she called out, a faint smile playing on her lips. She hadn’t seen her friend in a while, and if anyone asked, she’d deny how lonely she’d been feeling as of late. Though she had kept busy attempting to rally her own group members as well as herd those from the remaining factions, Aurora was desperately in need of company in which she didn’t have to be that hardass. “There’s a bottle of whiskey with your name on it, but hurry up before I change my mind.” Maybe she should have called.
