The Aftermath “AFTRMF” Crew

(consequences series crew 2/4)

Another lore dump under the cut :)

Immediately after hearing of the failure of the previous mission, MIRA decided to assemble a new crew to continue the research and resource gathering. Before the PREQ crew had even returned to Earth, the “aftermath” crew (named for their task of dealing with the aftermath of the previous crew) was sent to Polus.

It appears MIRA may have been too hasty with a follow-up mission, however, as all communications with the AFTRMF crew were lost immediately upon their arrival on the planet. Despite the best efforts from both sides, the crew has supposedly not been heard from in over two years.

An unnamed source, however, has indicated that the majority of the crew is still alive, with only two so-called “permanent deaths” (what they mean by permanent we are unsure) and one missing person. This information seems to be supported by recent events involving the survivors of the CONQ crew.

As for members of the crew who are reportedly still alive, rumors are circulating that MIRA’s top-secret project fell into the hands of aliens, who are now using it and the crew for their own entertainment. While far-fetched, these rumors may hold some truth if supposed sightings of two AFTRMF crewmembers are confirmed.
