just cuz it turned out so good, i wanna share the recipe of the marinade i made! i marinated chicken but it would be absolutely fantastic for tofu too!
this recipe is enough for at least 3 chicken breasts cut into strips (maybe 2 if they're rly big)
1 lime (zest+juice)
soy sauce (it should be around two thirds soy sauce one third lime juice)
2 cloves of garlic
~1 tbsp honey (if you don't want a lot of sweetness you can add just 1 teaspoon instead)
~1 tsp sriracha (add less if you're very sensitive to heat but i prommy this amount isn't very spicy at all it just gives a nice flavour and a hint of spice. ofc if you want spicy then feel free to add more than this)
mix it all together in a bag, bowl, or other kind of container. add in your desired protein and marinate for at least an hour. pan fry in some butter or neutral oil until cooked through and golden brown on the outside.
