Imagine him listening to the most embarrassing edgy teenager music while thinking about how Misaki should be chasing him more, and meanwhile he’s totally unaware that everyone else in the dorms can hear him. Like this would be right after he joins S4 too so most of the members are very curious about this kid that Munakata brought into their clan and is giving all this responsibility to. Everyone becomes aware pretty quickly that Fushimi is gloomy and standoffish and doesn’t talk to anyone, most of them probably think he’s some upstart brat who convinced the Captain to give him his own room somehow. Fushimi is fine with not being close to anyone, he just wants to do his work and be competent all on his own, he doesn’t need anyone to help him or like him.

But also he’s a teenager who just broke up with his best friend, so maybe he’s a little in his edgy emo phase and as much as he tells himself that he doesn’t care about Misaki he is pretty upset about the whole thing. So he likes to spend time in his room doing work on his laptop while also playing music in the background to like mimic the darkness in his soul or whatever. Imagine the rest of the squad, walking through the dorms and they hear this music playing and everyone’s like is some kid blasting his music, Doumyouji probably has to quickly yell that it isn’t him. Then Fushimi steps out, looking sour as usual, glaring at all the people who are staring at him as he’s like don’t you all have work to do (and probably assuming they hate him for being in Homra, and not that they’re all wondering what’s got that guy so upset). When he becomes third in command imagine he’s still doing this and no one has told him but that’s why some of the members like Akiyama and Hidaka are sympathetic to him, like sure Fushimi-san seems mean but he’s playing all this angsty music all the time, he just needs a friend.

Part 1 - AU where everything is the same, except Yata is asexual. That why he's so awkward with girls/talking about sex, because he just can't relate to those urges. I'm curious what Yata's reaction to Fushimi's taunting "virgin~" would be. Would he feel uncomfortable, like Fushimi is trying to call him out for being different? Or would he be unaffected, like "Yup, and that's how I prefer it." I'm curious about who you think Misaki would confide in/when he would do so.

I could see him in this AU being a bit sensitive to the 'virgin' remarks, at least at first until he really learns to accept his sexuality. Like I imagine Yata in this scenario not really realizing that he's asexual at first, I could definitely see him trying really awkwardly to be 'normal' and being embarrassed about being a virgin and all that because everything around him says he should be into girls and he should be fine talking about sex. Especially with Yata's whole masculinity thing, I could see him thinking that it doesn't fit what his imagine of a 'man' should be if he doesn't care about sex. In Homra when the guys are talking about going on dates or picking up girls Yata always feels really uncomfortable and doesn't know why, like when he thinks about having sex he feels more embarrassed by the fact that he doesn't really care about sex than the fact that he hasn't had it. And actually I could also see him feeling really confused for a long time precisely due to his feelings for Fushimi – like even if Yata heard the word 'asexual' he doesn't really think that applies to him because sometimes he sees Saruhiko and finds himself thinking that well he definitely can't be asexual because he's maybe in love with Fushimi.

I could see him eventually confiding in Kusanagi or Totsuka and that helps him accept himself more, realizing that it's totally okay if he's a virgin and has no interest in not being one anymore. I kinda imagine Totsuka noticing it first, how uncomfortable Yata is whenever the Homra guys are discussing sex, and he comes over one day and makes a comment to Yata about how he seems like something is on his mind whenever this topic comes up. Yata shifts uncomfortably and finally he's like 'Totsuka-san... is it weird if I...don't care about sex?'. Totsuka gives him a curious look and Yata finally just lets it all out, how all this time he knows he's supposed to want to have sex and how everyone acts like it's super important but whenever he thinks about doing it himself he's just completely not interested at all. Totsuka tells him it isn't weird at all and plenty of people are like that, which is how Yata learns about asexuality. Yata's still like 'okay but not being attracted to people, that can't be me because Saruhiko--' , cutting off abruptly. Totsuka gets this sympathetic smile as he says just because Yata doesn't have sexual attraction to anyone doesn't mean he can't fall in love.

So then jump forward post-ROK and Fushimi and Yata have made up and are becoming friends again. Fushimi makes some lightly joking comment calling Yata a virgin and instead of getting mad Yata looks thoughtful before being like 'yeah, I am...and I don't mind.' He explains things to Fushimi, feeling weird to be admitting it to someone like this. Fushimi seems to understand and Yata's happy but really Fushimi's worried no because he's thinking the same thing Yata did at first, that maybe Yata won't want to be with him because he's asexual. When Yata eventually figures this out he gets to tell Fushimi the same thing Totsuka once told him, but in his own way: 'just because I'm not into sex doesn't mean I can't fall in love you idiot.'

Really random but I heard that sleeping naked can give you a better quality sleep and reduce stress. So say maybe Fushimi picks up this habit how do you think things would go at Scepter four or even when he lives with Misaki. Awkward/fun times

I’m imagining he learns about this while he’s at Scepter 4 and so then post-ROK when he moves in with Yata it’s an unexpected surprise. Like say Fushimi’s dealing with high stress levels from all the extra work he has to do post-S1, at the same time he’s barely getting any sleep and he pretty much looks super tired and haggard all the time. Awashima and Munakata both keep scolding him for it, telling him to go get some sleep and let other people take care of things but of course Fushimi refuses to do that, he feels like nothing will get done correctly unless he does it himself. The rest of the alphabet squad are getting concerned too and maybe they start discussing ways to help Fushimi-san relax, like Akiyama starts making him soothing tea instead of coffee in the hopes the lack of caffeine will make him sleepier. Fushimi gets irritated about that and says he’ll just get canned coffee instead, Akiyama apologizes but says everyone is concerned for Fushimi’s health. Fushimi claims he’s fine and if you idiots would do your work correctly he wouldn’t be stressed. That’s when Hidaka mentions that he’s heard sleeping naked can help stress levels and give you a better night’s sleep and has Fushimi-san tried that, Fushimi gives him a look like Hidaka just said the most worthless thing ever (and meanwhile Hidaka’s drooling a little as he starts imagining Fushimi-san sleeping naked and Fuse has to smack him to get him out his fantasy).

That night though Fushimi’s having trouble sleeping again, Awashima ordered him to go bed at a decent hour and he’s not used to going to bed at a time when he isn’t just absolutely exhausted, usually he just passes out in bed immediately without a problem but now he’s tossing and turning and just totally unable to sleep. He remembers what Hidaka said and clicks his tongue like ‘….stupid.’ But he keeps having insomnia and finally he’s like all right fuck it and takes his clothes off. At first he feels totally uncomfortable, even though he has his own room he feels oddly exposed and doesn’t like it. But then he does manage to fall asleep and when he wakes up he finds that he feels way more rested than he expected and he didn’t even have any of his usual nightmares. From that point forward Fushimi starts sleeping naked all the time though of course he won’t tell anyone about it and he’s definitely not letting Hidaka know that he took the advice. Everything is fine until one day there’s an emergency and Akiyama knocks on his door at 2am, Fushimi’s a bit groggy as he gets up to answer the door and Akiyama’s there all 'Fushimi-san, there’s been a…’ and then he trails off, going bright red. Fushimi looks at him all cranky and half asleep like 'Hah?’ and then he suddenly realizes that he’s standing there totally naked and he sputters and slams the door. A moment later he opens it again wearing a shirt and pants and making sure Akiyama knows that if anyone finds out about this Akiyama is a dead man.

So then eventually post-ROK Yata and Fushimi reconcile and decide to start living together again. They get an apartment and maybe even get bunk beds again because Fushimi grudgingly admits that he doesn’t sleep well if his bed isn’t higher up (not admitting that he wants to be able to look down again in the morning and remind himself that Misaki’s still here, that Misaki hasn’t left). Fushimi’s used to sleeping naked by this point and he probably doesn’t even think twice about it, after all it’s not like he and Yata haven’t taken baths together in the past or changed in front of each other so him sleeping naked shouldn’t be an issue. For the first few nights Yata isn’t even aware of it because Fushimi gets home late from work all the time and Yata’s already in bed and asleep by the time Fushimi gets home. But then one day Fushimi’s got a day off and Yata’s making all these plans for them to hang out, he wakes up early and climbs to the top bunk all ready to wake Fushimi up. Fushimi rolls over and the blanket’s gotten all messed up from him tossing and turning in his sleep and so Yata gets a nice full view of Fushimi lying there entirely naked. Yata’s face immediately goes bright red and he almost falls off the bed, slapping a hand over his mouth as he tries to calm himself down.

Fushimi meanwhile stirs a little and looks up blearily all 'Yata…?’ Yata tries to recover, laughing nervously as he’s like oh hey you’re awake and Fushimi nods, still groggy as he starts to climb down from his bed and totally oblivious to the way Yata’s having an internal freakout. Fushimi just wanders into the bathroom to brush his teeth and he’s probably even wondering where breakfast is all while still naked and Yata finally stutters out a question about where Fushimi’s pajamas went. Fushimi gives him an irritated look as he says he doesn’t wear any, Yata’s like wait what and Fushimi says he sleeps better like this. Yata’s like -b-but’ and Fushimi mutters that it shouldn’t be a problem right. Yata doesn’t want to scare him away so he’s like 'no, it’s fine, but–’ and Fushimi’s like good as he sits and waits for Yata to make him breakfast. Yata’s still having a total freakout though, trying to act normal and make breakfast but he keeps catching sight of Fushimi out of the corner of his eye and getting all red faced again and he has no idea why seeing Saruhiko naked is making him this flustered.

I like when fushimi playing violin.But I imagine Fushimi can play guzheng/koto (Japan traditional instumental). What if one day scepter 4 and Homra get is a mission of cath a strain.But the strain is hard to cath and make a lot trouble. Fushimi finds a koto and then play it to calm the strain

I really like the idea of secretly musical Fushimi, he fits so manydifferent instruments. Maybe the group is chasing some kind of animalStrain, like Scepter 4 gets called to this traditional style home onthe outskirts of the city where all this weird phenomenon ishappening. Some of Homra is called along as well, since post-ROKthey’re in an alliance and there’s some initial worry that the Strainis part of like a group that’s trying to get to the family fortune orsomething. Say the Strain as the power to create like giant monstersout of anything, wood or stone or even the straw mats on the floorand all the inhabitants of the house are being terrorized. Munakatahas them evacuate so that Scepter 4 and Homra can move in,immediately they are all attacked too and have to fight their waythrough the house while trying to figure out where the Strain is. Thestrange thing is there’s no sign of any humans left, it’s just thesegiant stone and wood soldiers who keep blocking their path andimpeding the mission. That’s when Yata’s fighting one and sends aball of flame onto the air, Fushimi spots a small shadow flutteringaway in the reflection from the fire. He immediately leaps forward tofollow it, ignoring any calls for him to stay back with the group(mostly from Yata and Hidaka, Munakata says nothing because hebelieves in Fushimi’s judgment and feels that Fushimi will be able tohandle himself).

Fushimi follows the shadow through the house and ends up finally in aroom that once belonged to the grandmother of the family. Thegrandmother died recently but was a very old fashioned yamatonadeshiko type, she has bonsai trees in her room and tea sets andthere’s a koto in the corner. Also in the corner is an open birdcageand Fushimi spots the nightingale hovering in the rafters. He triesto get close to it but the bird quickly flies to the other side ofthe room, turning the rafters into more wooden soldiers that Fushimihas to fight off. He’s getting irritated because he didn’t come hereto chase after a stupid bird of all things and that’s when his eyesland on the koto. He looks around to be sure no one’s around and thensighs and clicks his tongue as he picks up the koto and begins toplay. Turns out Kisa made him learn this long ago, like maybe shemade him entertain some business partners so she could show them howtalented her kid is (the one and only time she showed any interest inhim at all, because she wanted her business partners to be impressedand then use that to finagle a more advantageous contract with them).Fushimi hasn’t played in ages but he falls back into the habit rightaway, playing gorgeous music with his eyes half closed as the birdslowly starts to fly closer to him. A minute or two later the rest ofScepter 4 and Homra show up, having faintly heard the music throughthe walls, and they step inside to find Fushimi still sitting thereon a cushion playing the koto with a nightingale sitting on hisshoulder totally calm and docile. (Fushimi eventually realizesthey’re all in the room and stops playing, probably expecting to beteased for knowing how to play this kind of instrument, and insteadeveryone’s all impressed by his skills and even Yata’s like that wasso cool Saruhiko why didn’t you ever tell me you could play music.Also Munakata supports adopting the nightingale because it is clearlyvery attached to Fushimi-kun, as it hops onto his head and startsnesting in his hair.)
