So, now that you expressed your opinions about forums and age, I think it's more about you that have a skill to keep calm than anything related to your age. Im also not a teenager and sometimes want to gouge my eyes when I see wrong stuff being upvoted in Reddit? Recently I saw an old topic with 80 upvotes saying how Crimsom Flower was the canon route. I just get really annoyed when misinformation is upvoted. Maybe I need to take a break from this fandom.
Ps agree that death treats and harassing is a lowbar though. Cases like this aren't even a matter of maturity but mental issues
Reddit is a known cesspool of questionable takes, though, and while I’ve never used it much and so don’t really understand the whole upvote/downvote thing it sounds as though that makes anything posted there into much more of a popularity contest than it is here. Overall Tumblr does seem like the most relaxed corner of this fandom, and you only see the content of the people you follow and what’s in the tags if you go looking into them.
...The joke here though is that at this moment there’s a colossal back-and-forth thread going on in my notes involving an Edelstan who blocked me around a day ago but is still arguing with others nonstop. It would be incorrect then to say that these things never happen here - but they don’t happen often.

Post-timeskip Dimitri is 0% coping mechanisms and 1000% rage.
It was interesting to see the battle for Garreg Mach and the results of it from the other perspective. It really makes it obvious how strong an influence Byleth is on the Empire in Crimsom Flower (Fodlan seems more stable and less war-torn at the beginning of CF than at the beginnign of AM), while Azure Moon makes it very clear how much of a military powerhouse Edelgard’s empire is. Another detail I liked was that, during the “state of the continent” explanation, Edelgard was said to be in Enbarr, consolidating her power. Or, more likely, playing politics with the slitherers to maintain a balancing act in which she makes them believe that she’s a figurehead they can control while trying to avoid actually becoming just that.
Talking about figureheads, I enjoyed Gilbert’s political talk with Byleth and Dimitri in which he made clear that the Kingdom’s forces were in tatters and what they needed the most was a leader they could rally behind. And the one who holds the symbolic power to make that happen is Dimitri, the righteous heir to the throne that was believed to be dead, and whose resurgence would mean an immediate morale boost. Too bad Dimitri doesn’t give a shit about tactics, morale, cleanliness or anything that doesn’t immediately result in a deathmatch against Edelgard.
Another detail I enjoyed was Felix’s reaction to Dimitri’s general state. He was the one who gave him the most shit about having a kind facade but being a savage beast on the inside, but now that Dimitri appears to have interiorized that message and has come to see himself as a beast, Felix reacts by saying that Dimitri is not acting like himself. For all his jabs and prickliness, Felix never wanted Dimitri to actually become a savage beast.

I decided write a thing because of another post but didn’t want it ON THE POST because reasons, so here have this quip; “Blossom of the Throatsmasher clan, High Priestess of The Delicate Flower, she wears a crown made of the bones of those sacrificed to the Flower. Their blood feeds the Flower which bears crimsom fruit that strenghten the minds of the Clan.
During the feast, she is the one who cuts out the heart their strongest warrior and give it to flame so the ashes nurture the ground of the Flower. Her beloved warchief Hannah the Throatsmasher, sings the prayers to lead the spirits of the dead to the next life where they may be reborn again. Hannah’s voice always sets Blossom ablaze with passion, she could always listen to Hannah and Hannah herself would always listen to Blossom, which is why she asked her hand in marriage, by trial of combat, for this life and the next one.”
