Random AU idea: Zaun Acknowledged.

Quick note that I could write Silco, or Jinx here and the over all feel of the AU and specific notes can easily change depending on the other/s involved. Now with that said...

Zaun Acknowledged

General concept: Silco actually manages to get Zaun declared free from Piltover's law enforcement. The Enforcers are no longer allowed to go down to Zaun, and Silco gets a place on the Piltover Council as a representative of Zaun however in exchange he has to keep a grip on Zaun and the crime and keep it from spreading to Piltover. All charges that have been placed against Silco and Jinx are pulled, and put on ice and so long as peace is maintained not to be brought up or used by anyone. Silco now has as close to getting what he's always wanted to as he's going to, but now he has to figure out how to actually handle the politics of the Piltover Council as well as dealing with Zaun.

Possibly gets something in writing saying that if he dies Jinx inherits his position on the council.

Thinking this could happen before the end of Arcane, but it could also happen post Arcane with Silco surviving but people in Piltover getting a chance to see just how bad things in Zaun could be without Silco and with no one holding Jinx AT ALL in check.

Possible side plot: This gets set up before Vi leaves Stillwater. Silco learns Vi is in Stillwater and goes to see her. Silco offers her a deal. She returns to Zaun, and helps/works for Jinx and he gets her out of Stillwater. If she refuses well best case is she dies soon worse case she rots in prison.

Additional possible side plot: Jinx and Sevika get put in charge of handling things in Zaun on a day to day basis. Silco handles stuff in Piltover making sure Zaun doesn't get fucked over, and arranging trade deals and other things so Zaun actually starts getting the same benefits from the Hexgates that Piltover itself does.

I could come up with more, but this is already getting long enough plus it'd shift depending on people writing it and the exact "flavor" of Zaun involved so thanks for reading!

Blue hair, bloodied fangs

Open starter for a modern urban fantasy/VTM style vampire!JInx because I was listening to the queen of the damned soundtrack.

Despite the "many" years she'd been a vampire, many by human standards not so much vampire, Jinx was fully convinced the modern day was the best. It was easier then ever before to simply hide in plain sight. Everyone believed her eyes were just fancy contact lens, her hair from a dye job, and her odd behavior was what you'd expect from any other "crazy" alt/goth/punk girl. Even a thing for biting, and blood could just be a kink thing really. Not that Jinx ever really used kink, or sex of any type to feed except perhaps on very rare occasions. Sometimes Silco mentioned she should be more careful of course, but as far as Jinx was concerned what was the point of living seeming forever if you didn't enjoy it?

That attitude had led to her current situation. Eyes bright, long braids sliding through the air, body moving to the music, a flash of fang from time to time, tattoos glimmering, and everyone believing she was just another woman in the club having a good time. The one difference was that neither her hair despite being so very long, or her hands, or her body ever so much as brushed up against anyone else. She was also very precisely positioned close enough to the speakers to feel the bass nicely, but not so close it was overwhelming to her.

Eventually however she'd want a break. The only question was if someone was going to approach the blue-haired gremlin while she was dancing, or after she moved to find a quieter spot in the club for a bit... or if she'd be left alone in peace entirely till she decided to leave to enjoy the crisp nighttime air. Of course there was always the chance for something else entirely unexpected to happen as well.

"What do you mean yours? It's on me so it's very clearly mine." The article of clothing in question did, in fact, belong to the other person. The innocent look, and faint smile on Jinx's face did nothing to change. There was also absolutely no doubt at all that she knew it was theirs. All the same... she was wearing it.

"Looks nice though don't you think?"

Random thought of the night.

For as much as I adore Silco and his relationship with Jinx... I'm also always fascinated by the idea of what if someone else had raised Jinx, and had to deal with her? How would someone else deal with this fundamentally upset and traumatized girl who push come to shove is very much a Zaunite and although she wont go as far towards violence without someone to push her that way she is still 100% capable of it?

She's not an easy person to deal with.

How would your muse deal with this child who hates enforcers, and already wants to fight?

My random head: So what would Jinx be like as a demoness? Me: Well obvious she'd...

My head: No no no. What would a demoness be like, if they were Jinx? Me:...you mean with Jinx's...a demoness that?....HUH. An unstable demoness who hears voices and regardless of if *waves at whatever desired mythology* is used or not isn't at all convinced any of the real "big bad powers of the universe" are real because fuck it she hears voices and stuff so why believe in them? So it's almost impossible to control her because no one has anything to hold over her.

My random head: And than she gets...

Me: Devoted to one random ass human for no good reason...Bonus points if normally demons can get messed with by using one religion or another but it just doesn't work on her? My head: Bonus points!

Something I want

For someone to grab up and adopt Jinx after Vander dies, and upon realizing her natural acceptance of and easily driven propensity towards violence towards violence are just

"Oh sweet heart no, I know you grew up with a lot of violence but lets try to break this cycle okay?" And it not really completely working and the person having to deal with the fact that Jinx is 100% down to kill someone for them.

I just want someone to be like "Oh, oh sweety, no...OH...oh okay this is happening. UMmm."

She'd been listening to the other person talk about how they'd change the world if they could. Fixes, and changes, and alterations. At first Jinx hadn't really cared all that much. Everyone had their dreams and those dreams never really came true and she was bored so why not listen. Than something about what they said fully caught her attention and her eyes had focused on them fully.

"Huh...so... you'd make a world I couldn't exist in." Voice quiet Jinx didn't really like that idea. Even if on some level she could understand it not like anyone really wanted her around anyways except Silco and perhaps agree with most of what they said it still bothered her that at best she'd be someone else entirely in a world like that.

"That's really what you'd want?"

I was contemplating different horror movies I like, and other things and...

I want to write out a story in which Jinx (or Jinx and Silco) end up in someones house for whatever reason and they are acting nice, and polite, and normal at first. Than slowly, but surely things get increasingly creepy and weird with Jinx/Silco controlling it all until that niceness disappears entirely and their predatory/monster sides come out at which point things get very bad indeed for the people who live in that house.

I just like the idea of that slow, but steadily build up. The monster side or the "wrongness" Jinx (or both) possess peaking out, and than slowly creeping forward before all of a sudden there's nothing left except for the monster.

🌌 + Marvel/MCU (or superheroes/supervillains in general)

Ohhhh this is difficult because honestly those are all three different scenarios to me. Marvel comics in general aren’t really the same as MCU because of things with mutants and the X-men. As for superheroes in general that can end up in places like The Boys or My Hero Academia or whatever else. So let’s go with… base marvel cause why not. Going to concentrate on Jinx.

So Jinx was born a mutant, and actually had two separate awakenings of her abilities. The first was younger than it should have been, and happened under stress which resulted in what should have been a normal every day toy that she pretended was a bomb and tinkered with to “try to make it a bomb” in fact exploding which caused a fire and killed Vander as well as her two bothers. Her and Vi got separated, and it was ruled an accident. The reality of the matter is she has an ability one might call a “Macgyver” trait except instead of being able to build almost anything out of random pieces Jinx can very specifically build things that go boom out of almost anything. Along with that she had slightly above human average physical abilities, and is highly intelligent so she took that ability and under the guidance of Silco (TLDR he agrees with Magneto and works along the same lines) learned how to work with metal and other things and became a proper crafter. When she takes the time to make something correctly her “Macgyver” trait makes it two to three times stronger minimum than it “should” be. She can also take utterly random things, and shove it together and so long as it looks vaguely like an actual “gadget” or bomb or grenade it will explode when she triggers it. The initial sign of her mutant abilities was her hair turning blue, and is one of the reasons her and Vi got separated. People believed her to be a mutant, but not Vi.

Eventually Jinx was injured, and given something that both healed her and also increased her mutant abilities further. However it had the side effect of making her already poor mental health worse be it temporarily or permanently, and she ended up killing Silco. The serum she was given has made her faster, and stronger and given her the ability to sense emotions in the surrounding area if they are strong enough however she can’t read people themselves and doesn’t realize she can sense left behind emotions she just thinks it’s her weird emotions being weird. Jinx fully believes humans will never accept Mutants, and wants to continues Silco’s work regardless of the cost. A part of her wants to find Magneto, and another part just wants to make a bomb big enough to destroy the capital of the USA and damn the consequences. She’s also alone, and lonely, and in her own personal hell wishing she could find her sister while wondering if her sister still hates her and what Vi would think of the monster she’s become.

Father's day woes

"I miss him." Voice soft and mournful there wasn't really anything else Jinx could offer. She knew quite well most wouldn't care, and in fact would be more inclined to celebrate the fact that Silco was dead and gone. All the same she did care, and sometimes the fact that she was the only one who did made her feel all the more lonely. The fact it was Father's Day in no way shape or form helped.

She had been on a box in an alleyway that let her see the sign of the Last Drop staring at the flickering lights as though praying for a sign from something that Silco was actually still there in his office working the same as every other Father's day until Jinx showed up tugging him away. She didn't expect to see anything however, and when someone came up to speak to her that was all she had to offer in that moment.

She missed her adoptive father.

It was her fault.

Visits uptown

(Open starter cause I got an idea. Any verse.)

"Sure, I remember going to Piltover as a kid." Voice more contemplative than anything Jinx wasn't entirely sure what had brought up the sudden question, and she shrugged. For a moment she considered leaving the conversation there, but struck by whimsy she sat up and spoke once more.

"There's two things I remember really clearly. Other stuff as well, but two in particular. One was the feeling of freedom, and movement. The open sky, and wind and airships and people just strolling around without seeming to worry about anything at all. I always wanted to ride one of those airships, and just go somewhere not that...I ever did." Not that she ever would. Lips tightening for a second her voice got a touch darker all of a sudden. "The second was that we were not wanted. It didn't matter what we did. Steal, not steal. Run, stand there and answer questions. Relax in a corner watching the sky, or spend a stupid amount of money on one single drink to share. It, it didn't matter what we were doing. If the enforcers didn't harass us or chase us off the people did, and it's not like we could hide that we were from Zaun." Shaking her head Jinx murmured softly. "Progress...For them. Freedom and skies and airships and movement and access to everything in the whole wide world for them but not for us. Never for us. No matter what we did." One long slow deep breath she looked up to the person who had started the conversation. "So yes I went there, and I remember it. Why do you ask?"

I have the most sudden random urge for a verse in which after Silco dies Jinx just says "fuck all of this", and leaves and goes and becomes a gladiator in Noxus and just has fun killing people and FOR ONCE not getting yelled at about it.

Want to flip the script and see Jinx be the one coming out of Stillwater, and have her be deranged and pissed off she was the one in prison and that "big sister" got to stay running around free and clear in Zaun?

Or that they both went to Stillwater but neither knew it, and than Caitlyn frees Vi but maybe Sevika shows up to free Jinx or something because they want to try to get Vi to calm the fuck down by reuniting her with her sister...

Problem is that Jinx is just an utterly vicious snapping coyote who can barely be trusted by anyone at the best of times.

Just Jinx

(Open starter - Jinx doing Jinx things cause I had an idea and thought it was amusing)

Perched on the foot of the person's bed Jinx nudged at their foot with her pistol before tilting her head, and doing it again. "Hey...Hey...." This time she tapped at their foot rather than just nudging. "Hey!....SHHHHh stop yelling it's just me! Look so two things." Completely ignoring whatever was being said, at least for the moment, Jinx raised a hand pointing back out towards the person's living room. "There was someone out there who looked very unfriendly. Good news, they aren't going to be doing anything now. Bad news, you have blood to clean up in the morning." The person in question had looked very unfriendly, and had ended up getting stabbed a couple of times by Jinx. There was a light splatter of blood across her left hand, and the glove that went up her arm if one looked closely enough.

"Second of all did you know you are out of pickles?" There was a faint crunch as Jinx finished off the last of the pickles that the other had owned. "That's kind of rude. I don't always just want something sweet you know."

Modern college student

Decided to write up some details for a modern verse with Jinx as a college student because...well… why not? If anyone is interested in writing with this verse feel free to come say hi. Open to roommates, teachers, friends, and whatever else.

In this particular verse Jinx is on course to a bachelors degree, and fully intends to continue after that to a Master’s if a not a Ph.D if she can manage it. She majors in Robotics with a minor in visual arts (drawing and the like, not photography), and has the full support of her father (who adopted her) Silco. Wanting Jinx to get some experience living away from home Silco has helped her with finding housing which can be a shared dorm be it a single room or double rooms with a common area, or it can be a small townhouse/condo type thing. The one consistent thing is that she has a roommate.

As a note Jinx’s roommate does not have to be the other muse involved in the story/thread/writing. The roommate can just be a random NPC whose off screen more times than not.

Jinx does still have a range of mental health issues, and is supposed to be taking medication. How consistent she is with that really depends on how distracted she gets, and how well she’s been sleeping and coping with things and other factors. She always intends to take her meds when fully together, but sometimes she just doesn’t and than things start slipping. There’s a range of possible situations that could happen there as well as her grades going up, and down so I’m not going to really dictate anything with that. What I will say is that when Jinx is doing decently she generally gets all A’s in her classes, and sometimes B’s in classes she’s not that interested in. Also Jinx can also be rather picky with her classes because she’s self aware enough to realize that if the class isn’t something she’s interested in she has a tendency to just drift and stop paying attention.

At current time she’s largely demisexual/romantic and hasn’t really been in many/any relationships cause she just… hasn’t been. She’s a handful and a half, and is difficult for most people to connect to and for that matter finds it difficult to connect to others so she’s just doing her thing with robots and animatronics and the like.

I believe that’s the main points. Quick TLDR for certain things before angst: Vander died. Silco adopted her. I’m willing to adapt if there’s a Vi writer who wants to explore something else but currently “base line” idea is that for one reason or another although Silco DID TRY he wasn’t able to adopt both Jinx and Vi.

~~~ I don’t feel like going into a lot of detail here but Silco and Vander were together at one time. They ended up breaking up. Jinx has been into engineering, gadgetry, fireworks, and the like from a young age along with an interest in fire. An accident happened when she was young, and it resulted in the home she lived in with Vander and everyone else burning to the ground. Jinx still to this day blames herself for the accident, and it’s a very large source of her trauma and personal issues. Silco having had a connection to Vander and knowing Jinx at least a little bit managed to adopt her, and has done his absolutely best to raise her and help. She still has nightmares about That Night from time to time, and is still very much Jinx but less violent and more prone to inventing and building stuff. Do not think “less” violent means “not” violent however because Silco is an old school Punk who hates the police and made sure his darling daughter knows how to protect herself, and has a taser if not a knife.
