Farah Darwish is such a Posh Totty (St. Trinian's reference), she shortens her uniform skirt and adds accessories, making sure she emphasizes her cleavage, always reglossing her lips and her school bag is always a designer purse. Her perfect hair usually has a pink and green ribbon sitting on top and her sable hair falling like silk down her back. She always smells like either Miss Dior, or Chanel, or Valentino, or LoveShackFancy, something sweet and expensive.

Her dorm, poor Pansy has to deal with it all pink and champagnes and bedazzled.

She pouts often especially to Mattheo who gives in to anything she wants, he falls apart when she gives him a big toothy, sweet as fuck grin looking like innocence he wants to devour.

              the allure of diving into a rough and endless sea, despite being unable to swim. the feeling of sipping whisky as you dance in your underwear to cheap trick’s ‘i want you to want me’. the nostalgic scent of a unisex cologne and the touch of a soft blanket along your naked body. that rare moment where you feel infinite and untouchable.

Whaddup demons, it’s me, ya bitch. This here is Marlene, my neurotic, selfish, and slightly crazy baby. 

Ya ready to read about this mess of a lady?

Marley is the epitome of someone born and raised in the sixties and seventies. Despite the old power attached to her name, she thrives under new experiences. She has a thirst for knowledge that simply can’t be quenched. Her parents, despite being extremely well known in the community (and so very obviously feared given their mob/gangster tendencies), support her through all of her endeavors. They encourage their wild daughter to test the waters and dive straight in.

She is always up for something new. If there is a trend on the rise, she is on top of it. If there is a new record that is hot on the charts, she is listening to it. She wants to experience life and everything it has to offer.

She is incredibly vibrant and witty. Having a way with words is something she seems to have inherited from her parents, and she uses it often. There are few things she can’t speak into existence. Many have described her as being able to charm a rabbit out of a hat.

Changes her hair color often. Obviously. Because why the fuck not?

Despite her family not being one of the Sacred 28, they are very well known. Annnnnnd, uh, not for the best reasons. Piss off Papa Mckinnon and your ass may be, for lack of a better phrase, sleeping with the fishes. Marley may not be some cliched posh totty, but she is definitely her father’s daughter. She can play the game if need be. Driven and undeniably proud, Marley has a habit of being ruthless when in pursuit of her goals.

She tries to be a good friend, but there are times when she becomes blinded by what SHE wants. She needs a best bitch who will put her in her place, lest she find herself dead, or worse, EXPELLED. lawl ignore me, bye.

Marley is big on henna tattoos. Her wrists and hands are normally covered in beautiful eccentric designs, and she often tops them off with bracelets and rings.

She has a younger brother who she absolutely ADORES. He is 15 and staring his second year at Hogwarts. Mickey struggles with confidence given his weight, and he often finds it hard to make new friends. It doesn’t exactly make it easier when their grandmother constantly makes snide comments about the way his pants look too tight or how his chin somehow doubled in size. Naturally, Marlene is extremely protective and will often be seen hanging out with him in lieu of her school friends. And don’t worry about dear Mickey, this lovable dork has made two best friends who would do anything for the bastard. 

She loooooves Cheap Trick. Not sure what it is about them, but they immediately make her feel better. Like when you’re sad and you decide to walk through Target and things suddenly seem alright. 

She is very street smart. Very clever and manipulative; however, she struggles when it comes to school work. She can kick ass in a duel, but her test scores leave something to be desired. So in theory, she would be an excellent Auror, but she lacks the academic prowess to make it into such a program. 

This is a big issue for her. The embarrassment she feels over how difficult it is to simply SIT DOWN and write out an impressive essay or answer a question in class is ridiculously high. That and she is too proud to ask anyone for help, so she basically suffers in silence and then has a major freak out once she reaches her boiling point. Hmm, that must be the Irish seeping through from her dad’s side. 

She is one of the Quidditch Commentators and wow, is it a surprise she hasn’t been fired yet. Marley is notorious for sneaking in other messages when breaks occur. Students LOVE the way she does her job, but it lacks professionalism. You can ask (or pay) her to make shoutouts, you can send her letters with crazy stories that she might reference during the game. Basically, her commenting has become more like a popular podcast that centers around several things, mainly the Quidditch game.

Who needs Umbrellas when they're St. Trininans?

It all started with a newspaper. Every morning their father read the newspaper during their obligatory silent breakfast. Vanya was seated at her designated spot right across from him and every time he lifted it up to turn a page, she could see the front page.

"Another story about the Umbrella Academy" is what she thought at first, for that was what it usually meant when she saw children in school uniform on the front page. Halfway through breakfast Vanya started to realize that she was actually wrong. This wasn't a group of gleaming boys with only one girl looking quite innocently. No, no. This group consisted of all girls who wore the same uniform which seemingly had been altered in different ways so they still looked quite individual. Their father would never allow such alterations!

Once breakfast was over and the others had to go train according to schedule, Vanya went to their mother and asked nicely if she could have the newspaper their father was reading during breakfast. If Mom though it was a strange request, she never mentioned while handing it over.

Back in her room Vanya read the entire article with a strange sort of excitement she didn't understand herself. According to the paper the girls hadn't done anything special. Earlier that month a famous painting had been stolen and these girls just happened to find it in some changing room in some luxury clothing store. Then again, there was a certain glimpse in the eyes of the girls in the pictures. As if they were all in on some inside joke. Besides that, this was some suspiciously good publicity for a school that, according to the paper, was about to be forcefully closed down by the English Ministry of Education. What mostly drew Vanya's attention though was that these girls seemed so different and yet their glances at each other betrayed how close they were. There was this one picture in particular that caught her eye. A girl with a wild perm and a another girl, this one with a straight bob were leaning comfortably against each other while sitting on a table, giving the camera self-assured looks with their pinkies crossed where their hands were touching each other on the table.

If only she could have something like that, if only she could go to that school filled with normal girls just like her, then she wouldn't be stuck the odd one out the way she was here in her own home.

Her longing looks at the article were disrupted by the sudden appearance of Five on her desk. Her favorite brother was done with his training for the day and wanted her opinion one some sort of matter or another. He completely distracted her from her thoughts about going to school. She cut out the article and hung it in her room, but every day her thoughts on the matter were interrupted by Five in one way or another. So it went on for weeks.

And then Five disappeared. Vanya waited up every night, making his favorite sandwiches and hoping she'd see him at breakfast, or that he'd wake her up before her alarm, the way he sometimes did, impatient enough to tell her about something he'd seen or done. After a month or 3 without his return to the Hargreeves household, Vanya was losing hope and her longing looks towards the article were growing more and more each day with every dismissal she was given by her siblings and father. Even Ben, who used to often join her and Five in discussing the latest books they had read, was hanging out more and more with Klaus and Diego.

One evening when Vanya realized she had gone a whole day without exchanging a word with anyone in the household except her mom she made her decision. She would get father to send her to St. Trininan even if it killed her!

This is kind of the opening to a prompt I imagined. The modern movie about St. Trinians came out in 2007, a couple of years after Five disappears in the TUA-series canon timeline. So what if the movie actually happened in the same universe but a couple of years earlier. Here are some things I imagine would/ should happen in this crossover:

That flashback moment in canon where teen-Allison shouts at Vanya to get out of her room was the moment Vanya wanted to tell her sister that she was going to a different school from then on. She was on a deadline so she left immediately after that happened. Allison was afraid that it was her words that drove Vanya away which makes her worried enough to write the first letter and so start of their years-long correspondence.

During Vanya’s arrival someone throws a knife at her to scare her. However she grew up with Diego, so all she does is duck, yank the dagger out of the wall behind her and comment on the fact that its balance is shit.

In the letters she exchanges with Allison Vanya gives the other girl tips that she learned from the posh totties.

She stops taking her meds (even though dear old Reggie only allowed her to go if she swore she’d keep taking them) and discovers her powers during a small altercation between tribes (chavs, emos, nerds, etc). She gets help from the Head girl who took her under her wing, to learn to control her powers. (Kelly, Annabelle or maybe it was both of them together).

She becomes Head girl herself.

She exchanges a lot of letters and telephone calls with Klaus about drugs, getting clean (him, not her) Tips on how to do it. His reasons for taking drugs finally become clear and as a result she challenges her fellow students to reverse-engineer a milder version of the drugs her Father keeps sending her. The result she sends to Klaus which gets him to lessen his more dangerous addictions.

Every time she reads or sees something about her siblings having completed a mission, she calls Ben to talk about how he’s feeling. After struggling with the destructiveness of her own powers and having people help her see the positive side of it, she tries to do the same with Ben.

Every summer when she goes back “home” she goes to a hiding spot her and Five used to have and sees if he might’ve come back and read the letter she left him. Every year upon seeing the letter is still there she adds another one that talks about what all happened to her and what she knows happened to their other siblings while she was away.

These letters are what Five finds in the future instead of the book she wrote in canon, their secret place being somewhere that survived the apocalypse.

The apocalypse still happens, but not necessarily because of Vanya? Or perhaps it’s because of Vanya, but only because she’s drugged or something similar?

If the only way to avoid the apocalypse is to travel back in time again, like in canon, Vanya would probably still decide to go to St. Trininan.
