Couples always ask me if they should do table or sweetheart table? - Sometimes that depends on the venue space and what will work or look best - Head tables are fun so you get to enjoy and celebrate with your friends as opposed sitting with just each other - Some couples sit with their parents at the head table instead of the wedding party - I recommend a sweet heart table if most of your wedding party have significant others or spouses they would like to sit with - A fun way to have your wedding party near by but allow for their significant others is to have their own tables right next to your sweetheart table Happy Wedding Planning!!! 2022 is going to be beautiful! When I started out my flatlay game, I use to just throw everything and anything on my boards! Sometimes I even felt it was too empty and go back and throw on something... anything... just go fill up space. I can tell you that as I’ve refined my styling skills, I know that even white space is ok but more so — everything I place on my boards have intention and does the job of telling the bigger story of the entire composition of the image! Every flatlay is a piece of art and I pretty much dedicate 30 minutes to an hour at weddings just to style a few and capture details!! So if this kind of imagery excites you, just know it takes a lot of preplanning to make happen! - First, you’ll have to let me know your color scheme so I can plan a custom styling mat to shoot with - Collect your details prior to the day of so I can start laying out and shooting - Contact your florist to also provide some loose florals I try never to take away from your pieces so whatever you provide, I’ll use first — then have a wonderful styling kit filled with ring boxes, vintage dishes, lace, ribbons, odds and ends... that will help bring pops of color and elevate the design. Halloween is in a few days! Been reading threads all over @nextdoor and @facebookapp and it seems like lots of parents are going to be ok to take their little witches and goblins out trick-o-treating because for the most part, they’ll be wearing masks anyways and the candy that’ll be passed out will already be in wrapped and unopened.
